1. उन दिनों में मैं सारे इस्राएली कुलों का परमेश्वर ठहरूंगा और वे मेरी प्रजा ठहरेंगे, यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

1. This is what the Lord said, 'At that time I will be the God of all the tribes of Israel. And they will be my people.'

2. यहोवा यों कहता हैे जो प्रजा तलवार से बच निकली, उन पर जंगल में अनुग्रह हुआ; मैं इस्राएल को विश्राम देने के लिये तैयार हुआ।

2. This is what the Lord says: 'The people who escaped the enemy's sword will find comfort in the desert. Israel will go there looking for rest.'

3. यहोवा ने मुझे दूर से दर्शन देकर कहा है। मैं तुझ से सदा प्रेम रखता आया हूँ; इस कारण मैं ने तुझ पर अपनी करूणा बनाए रखी है।

3. From far away, the Lord will appear to his people. The Lord says, 'I love you people with a love that continues forever. That is why I have continued showing you kindness.

4. हे इस्राएली कुमारी कन्या ! मैं तुझे फिर बसाऊंगा; वहां तू फिर सिंगार करके डफ बजाने लगेगी, और आनन्द करनेवालों के बीच में नाचती हुई निकलेगी।

4. Israel, my bride, I will rebuild you. You will be a country again. You will pick up your tambourines again. You will dance with all the other people who are having fun.

5. तू शोमरोन के पहाड़ों पर अंगूर की बारियं फिर लगाएगी; और जो उन्हें लगाएंगे, वे उनके फल भी खाने पाएंगे।

5. You farmers of Israel will plant vineyards again. You will plant the vineyards on the hills around the city of Samaria. The farmers will enjoy the fruit from the vineyards.

6. क्योंकि ऐसा दिन आएगा, जिस में एप्रैम के पहाड़ी देश के पहरूए पुकारेंगेे उठो, हम अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा के पास सिरयोन को चलें।

6. There will be a time when watchmen shout this message: 'Come, let's go up to Zion to worship the Lord our God!' Even the watchmen in the hill country of Ephraim will shout that message.'

7. क्योंकि यहोवा यों कहता हैे याकूब के कारण आनन्द से जयजयकार करो जातियों में जो श्रेष्ठ है उसके लिये ऊंचे शबद से स्तुति करो, और कहो, हे यहोवा, अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल के बचे हुए लोगों का भी उठ्ठार कर।

7. This is what the Lord says: 'Be happy and sing for Jacob! Shout for Israel, the greatest of the nations! Sing your praises and shout: 'The Lord saved his people! He has saved those who are left alive from the nation of Israel.'

8. देखो, मैं उनको उत्तर देश से ले आऊंगा, और पृथ्वी के कोने कोने से इकट्ठे करूंगा, और उनके बीच अन्धे, लंगड़े, गर्भवती, और जच्चा स्त्रियां भी आएंगी; एक बड़ी मण्डली यहां लौट आएगी।

8. Remember, I will bring Israel from that country in the north. I will gather the people of Israel from the faraway places on earth. Some of the people will be blind and crippled. Some of the women will be pregnant and ready to give birth. But many people will come back.

9. They will come back crying, but I will lead them and comfort them. I will lead them by streams of water. I will lead them on an easy road where they will not stumble. I will lead them in that way because I am Israel's father. And Ephraim is my firstborn son.

10. Nations, listen to this message from the Lord! Tell this message in the faraway lands by the sea: 'God scattered the people of Israel, but he will bring them back together. And he will watch over his flock like a shepherd.'

11. क्योंकि यहोवा ने याकूब को छुड़ा लिया, और उस शत्रु के पंजे से जो उस से अधिक बलवन्त है, उसे छुटकारा दिया है।

11. The Lord will bring Jacob back. He will save his people from those who are stronger.

12. इसलिये वे सिरयोन की चोटी पर आकर जयजयकार करेंगे, और यहोवा से अनाज, नया दाखमधु, टटका तेल, भेड़- बकरियां और गाय- बैलों के बच्चे आदि उत्तम उत्तम दान पाने के लिये तांता बान्धकर चलेंगे; और उनका प्राण सींची हुई बारी के समान होगा, और वे फिर कभी उदास न होंगे।

12. The people of Israel will come to the top of Zion, and they will shout with joy. Their faces will shine with happiness about the good things the Lord gives them. He will give them grain, new wine, olive oil, young sheep, and cows. They will be like a garden that has plenty of water. And the people of Israel will not be troubled anymore.

13. उस समय उनकी कुमारियां नाचती हुई हर्ष करेंगी, और जवान और बूढ़े एक संग आनन्द करेंगे। क्योंकि मैं उनके शोक को दूर करके उन्हें आनन्दित करूंगा, मैं उन्हें शान्ति दूंगा, और दु:ख के बदले आनन्द दूंगा।

13. Then the young women of Israel will be happy and dance. And the men, young and old, will join in the dancing. I will change their sadness into happiness. I will comfort my people, making them happy instead of sad.

14. I will give the priests plenty of food. And my people will be filled and satisfied with the good things I give them.' This message is from the Lord.

15. यहोवा यह भी कहता हैे सुन, रामा नगर में विलाप और बिलक बिलककर रोने का शब्द सुनने में आता है। राहेल अपने लड़कों के लिये रो रही है; और अपने लड़कों के कारण शान्त नहीं होती, क्योंकि वे जाते रहे।

15. This is what the Lord says: 'A sound is heard in Ramah� bitter crying and great sadness. Rachel cries for her children, and she refuses to be comforted, because her children are gone.'

18. I have heard Ephraim crying. I heard Ephraim say this: 'Lord, you punished me, and I learned my lesson. I was like a calf that was never trained. Please stop punishing me, and I will come back to you. You really are the Lord my God.

19. भटक जाने के बाद मैं पछतायो और सिखाए जाने के बाद मैं ने छाती पीटीे पुराने पापों को स्मसण कर मैं लज्जित हुआ और मेरा मुंह काला हो गया।

19. Lord, I wandered away from you. But I learned about the bad things I did. So I changed my heart and life. I am ashamed and embarrassed about the foolish things I did when I was young.'

20. The Lord says, 'You know that Ephraim is my dear son. I love that child. Yes, I often criticized Ephraim, but I still think about him. I love him very much, and I really do want to comfort him.' This message is from the Lord.

21. क्या एप्रैम मेरा प्रिय पुत्रा नहीं है? क्या वह मेरा दुलारा लड़का नहीं है? जब जब मैं उसके विरूद्ध बातें करता हूं, तब तब मुझे उसका स्मरण हो आता है। इसलिये मेरा मन उसके कारण भर आता है; और मैं निश्चय उस पर दया करूंगा, यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

21. People of Israel, repair the road signs. Put up signs that show the way home. Watch the road. Remember the road you are leaving on. Israel, my bride, come home. Come back to your towns.

22. हे इस्राएली कुमारी, जिस राजमार्ग से तू गई थी, उसी में खम्भे और झण्डे खड़े कर; और अपने इन नगरों में लौट आने पर मन लगा।

22. Unfaithful daughter, how long will you wander around? 'The Lord has created something new in the land: A woman surrounding a man. '

23. हे भटकनेवाली कन्या, तू कब तक इधर उधर फिरती रहेगी? यहोवा की एक नई सृष्टि पृथ्वी पर प्रगट होगी, अर्थात् नारी पुरूष की सहायता करेगी।

23. This is what the Lord All-Powerful, the God of Israel, says: 'I will again do good things for the people of Judah. I will bring back those who were taken away as prisoners. At that time the people in the land of Judah and in its towns will once again use these words: 'May the Lord bless you, good home and holy mountain!'

24. इस्राएल का परमेश्वर सेनाओं का यहोवा यों कहता हैे जब मैं यहूदी बंधुओं को उनके देश के नगरों में लौटाऊंगा, तब उन में यह आशीर्वाद फिर दिया जाएगो हे धर्मभरे वासस्थान, हे पवित्रा पर्वत, यहोवा तुझे आशीष दे !

24. People in all the towns of Judah will live together in peace. Farmers and those who move around with their flocks will live peacefully together in Judah.

25. और यहूदा और उसके सब नगरों के लोग और किसान और चरवाहे भी उस में इकट्टे बसेंगे।

25. I will give rest and strength to those who are weak and tired.'

27. The days are coming,' says the Lord, 'when I will help the family of Israel and Judah to grow. I will help their children and animals to grow too. It will be like planting and caring for a plant.

28. In the past I watched over Israel and Judah, but I watched for the time to pull them up. I tore them down. I destroyed them. I gave many troubles to them. But now I will watch over them to build them up and make them strong.' This message is from the Lord.

29. और जिस प्रकार से मैं सोच सोचकर उनको गिराता और ढाता, नष्ट करता, काट डालता और सत्यानाश ही करता था, उसी प्रकार से मैं अब सोच सोचकर उनको रोपूंगा और बढ़ाऊंगा, यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

29. 'People will not use this saying anymore: 'The parents ate the sour grapes, but the children got the sour taste.'

30. उन दिनों में वे फिर न कहेंगे कि पुरखा लोगों ने तो जंगली दाख खाई, परन्तु उनके वंश के दांत खट्टे हो गए हैं।

30. No, people will die for their own sins. Those who eat sour grapes will get the sour taste.'

31. क्योंकि जो कोई जंगली दाख खाए उसी के दांत खट्टे हो जाएंगे, और हर एक मनुष्य अपने ही अधर्म के कारण मारा जाएगा।

31. This is what the Lord said, 'The time is coming when I will make a new agreement with the family of Israel and with the family of Judah.

32. फिर यहोवा की यह भी वाणी है, सुन, ऐसे दिन आनेवाले हैं जब मैं इस्राएल और यहूदा के घरानों से नई वाचा बान्धूंगा।

32. It will not be like the agreement I made with their ancestors. I made that agreement when I took them by the hand and brought them out of Egypt. I was their master, but they broke that agreement.' This message is from the Lord.

33. वह उस वाचा के समान न होगी जो मैं ने उनके पुरखाओं से उस समय बान्धी थी जब मैं उनका हाथ पकड़कर उन्हें मिस्र देश से निकाल लाया, क्योंकि यद्यपि मैं उनका पति था, तौभी उन्हों ने मेरी वह वाचा तोड़ डाली।

35. The Lord makes the sun shine in the day, and he makes the moon and the stars shine at night. He stirs up the sea so that its waves crash on the shore. The Lord All-Powerful is his name. This is what the Lord says:

36. The descendants of Israel will never stop being a nation. That would happen only if I lost control of the sun, moon, stars, and sea.'

37. यदि ये नियम मेरे साम्हने से टल जाएं तब ही यह हो सकेगा कि इस्राएल का वंश मेरी दृष्टि में सदा के लिये एक जाति ठहरने की अपेक्षा मिट सकेगा।

37. The Lord says, 'I will never reject the descendants of Israel. That would happen only if people could measure the sky above, and learn all the secrets of the earth below. Only then would I reject them for the bad things they have done.' This message is from the Lord.

38. यहोवा यों भी कहता है, यदि ऊपर से आकाश मापा जाए और नीचे से पुथ्वी की नेव खोद खोदकर पता लगाया जाए, तब ही मैं इस्राएल के सारे वंश को अनके सब पापों के कारण उन से हाथ उठाऊंगा।

38. This message is from the Lord, 'The days are coming when the city of Jerusalem will be rebuilt for the Lord. The whole city will be rebuilt�from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate.

39. देख, यहोवा की यह वाणी है, ऐसे दिन आ रहे हैं जिन में यह नगर हननेल के गुम्मट से लेकर कोने के फाटक तक यहोवा के लिये बनाया जाएगा।

39. The measuring line will stretch from the Corner Gate straight to the hill of Gareb and then turn to the place named Gorah.

40. और मापने की रस्सी फिर आगे बढ़कर सीधी गारेब पहाड़ी तक, और वहां से घूमकर गोआ को पहुंचेगी।

40. The whole valley where dead bodies and ashes are thrown will be holy to the Lord. And all the terraces down to the bottom of Kidron Valley all the way to the corner of Horse Gate will be included. All that area will be holy to the Lord. The city of Jerusalem will never again be torn down or destroyed.'
