1. उस समय यहोवा अपनी कड़ी, बड़ी, और पोड़ तलवार से लिव्यातान नाम वेग और टेढ़े चलनेवाले सर्प को दण्ड देगा, और जो अजगर समुद्र में रहता है उसको भी घात करेगा।।

1. Then the LORD with his heavy, great, and long sword shall visit Leviathan that invincible serpent: even Leviathan that crooked serpent, and shall slay the whalfish in the sea.

2. उस समय एक सुन्दर दाख की बारी होगी, तुम उसका यश गाना!

2. At the same time shall men sing of the vineyard of Muscatel.

3. मैं यहोवा उसकी रक्षा करता हूं; मैं क्षण क्षण उसको सींचता रहूंगा। ऐसा न हो कि कोई उसकी हाति करे।

3. I the LORD keep it, and water it in due season. I watch day and night, that no man break into it. I hear no evil will in my mind.

4. मेरे मन में जलजलाहट नहीं है। यदि कोई भांति भांति के कटीले पेड़ मुझ से लड़ने को खड़े करता, तो मैं उन पर पांव बढ़ाकर उनको पूरी रीति से भस्म कर देता।

4. Who will compel me, that I greatly forgetting all faithfulness, should burn it up at once with thorns and bushes?

5. वा मेरे साथ मेल करने को वे मेरी शरण लें, वे मेरे साथ मेल कर लें।।

5. Or who will enforce me to keep or make peace?

6. भविष्य में याकूब जड़ पकड़ेगा, और इस्राएल फूल- फलेगा, और उसके फलों से जगत भर जाएगा।।

6. It will come to this point, that Jacob shall be rooted again, and Israel shall be green, and bear flowers, and they shall fill the whole world with their fruit.

7. क्या उस ने उसे मारा जैसा उस ने उसके मारनेवालों को मारा था? क्या वह घात किया गया जैसे उसके घात किए हुए घात हुए?

7. Smiteth he not his smiter, as even as he is smitten himself: Destroyeth he not the murderers, as he is murdered?

8. जब तू ने उसे निकाला, तब सोच- विचार कर उसको दु:ख दिया : उसे ने पुरवाई के दिन उसको प्रचण्ड वायु से उड़ा दिया है।

8. Every man recompenseth with the measure that he receiveth: He museth upon his sore wind, as upon the days of extreme heat.

9. इस से याकूब के अधर्म का प्रायश्चित किया जाएगा और उसके पाप के दूर होने का प्रतिफल यह होगा कि वे वेदी के सब पत्थरों को चूना बनाने के पत्थरों के समान चकनाचूर करेंगे, और अशेरा और सूर्य की प्रतिमाएं फिर खड़ी न रहेंगी।

9. And therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be thus reconciled. And so shall he take away all the fruit of his sins. As for altar stones, he shall make them all as stones beaten to powder: the groves and Idols shall not stand.

10. क्योंकि गढ़वाला नगर निर्जन हुआ है, वह छोड़ी हुई बस्ती के समान निर्जन और जंगल हो गया है; वहां बछड़े चरेंगे और वहीं बैठेंगे, और पेड़ों की डालियों की फुनगी को खो लेंगे।

10. The strong cities shall be desolate, and the fair cities shall be left like a wilderness. The cattle shall feed and lie there, and the sheep shall eat it up.

11. जब उसकी शाखाएं सूख जाएं तब तोड़ी जाएंगी; और स्त्रियां आकर उनको तोड़कर जला देंगी। क्योंकि ये लोग निर्बुद्धि हैं; इसलिये उनका कर्ता उन पर दया न करेगा, और उनका रचनेवाला उन पर अनुग्रह न करेगा।।

11. Their harvest shall be brent, their wives which were their beauty, when they came forth: shall be defiled. For it is a people without understanding, and therefore he that created them, shall not favour them and he that made them shall not be merciful to them.

12. उस समय यहोवा महानद से लेकर मि के नाले तक अपने अन्न को फटकेगा, और हे इस्राएलियों तुम एक एक करके इकट्ठे किए जाओगे।

12. In that time shall the LORD shoot from the swift water of Euphrates, unto the river of Egypt. And there shall the children be chosen out one by one.

13. उस समय बड़ा नरसिंगाा फूंका जाएगा, और जो अश्शूर देश में नाश हो रहे थे और जो मि देश में बरबस बसाए हुए थे वे यरूशलेम में आकर पवित्रा पर्वत पर यहोवा को दण्डवत् करेंगे।।

13. Then shall the great trumpet be blown, so that those which have been destroyed in the Assirians land, and those that be scattered abroad in Egypt: shall come and worship the LORD at Jerusalem, upon the holy mount.
