1. मैं हर समय यहोवा को धन्य कहा करूंगा; उसकी स्तुति निरन्तर मेरे मुख से होती रहेगी।

1. By David, in his changing his behaviour before Abimelech, and he driveth him away, and he goeth. I do bless Jehovah at all times, Continually His praise [is] in my mouth.

2. मैं यहोवा पर घमण्ड करूंगा; नम्र लोग यह सुनकर आनन्दित होंगे।

2. In Jehovah doth my soul boast herself, Hear do the humble and rejoice.

3. मेरे साथ यहोवा की बड़ाई करो, और आओ हम मिलकर उसके नाम की स्तुति करें।

3. Ascribe ye greatness to Jehovah with me, And we exalt His name together.

4. मैं यहोवा के पास गया, तब उस ने मेरी सुन ली, और मुझे पूरी रीति से निर्भय किया।

4. I sought Jehovah, and He answered me, And from all my fears did deliver me.

5. जिन्हों ने उसकी ओर दृष्टि की उन्हों ने ज्योति पाई; और उनका मुंह कभी काला न होने पाया।

5. They looked expectingly unto Him, And they became bright, And their faces are not ashamed.

6. इस दीन जन ने पुकारा तब यहोवा ने सुन लिया, और उसको उसके सब कष्टों से छुड़ा लिया।।

6. This poor [one] called, and Jehovah heard, And from all his distresses saved him.

7. यहोवा के डरवैयों के चारों ओर उसका दूत छावनी किए हुए उनको बचाता है।
इब्रानियों 1:14

7. A messenger of Jehovah is encamping, Round about those who fear Him, And He armeth them.

8. परखकर देखो कि यहोवा कैसा भला है! क्या ही धन्य है वह पुरूष जो उसकी शरण लेता है।
1 पतरस 2:3

8. Taste ye and see that Jehovah [is] good, O the happiness of the man who trusteth in Him.

9. ृहे यहोवा के पवित्रा लोगो, उसका भय मानो, क्योंकि उसके डरवैयों को किसी बात की घटी नहीं होती!

9. Fear Jehovah, ye His holy ones, For there is no lack to those fearing Him.

10. जवान सिहों को तो घटी होती और वे भूखे भी रह जाते हैं; परन्तु यहोवा के खोजियों को किसी भली वस्तु की घटी न होवेगी।।

10. Young lions have lacked and been hungry, And those seeking Jehovah lack not any good,

11. हे लड़कों, आओ, मेरी सुनो, मैं तुम को यहोवा का भय मानना सिखाऊंगा।

11. Come ye, children, hearken to me, The fear of Jehovah I do teach you.

12. वह कौन मनुष्य है जो जीवन की इच्छा रखता, और दीर्घायु चाहता है ताकि भलाई देखे?
1 पतरस 3:10-12

12. Who [is] the man that is desiring life? Loving days to see good?

13. अपनी जीभ को बुराई से रोक रख, और अपने मुंह की चौकसी कर कि उस से छल की बात न निकले।

13. Keep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking deceit.

14. बुराई को छोड़ और भलाई कर; मेल को ढूंढ और उसी का पीछा कर।।
इब्रानियों 12:14

14. Turn aside from evil and do good, Seek peace and pursue it.

15. यहोवा की आंखे धर्मियों पर लगी रहती हैं, और उसके कान भी उसकी दोहाई की ओर लगे रहते हैं।
यूहन्ना 9:31

15. The eyes of Jehovah [are] unto the righteous, And His ears unto their cry.

16. यहोवा बुराई करनेवालों के विमुख रहता है, ताकि उनका स्मरण पृथ्वी पर से मिटा डाले।

16. (The face of Jehovah [is] on doers of evil, To cut off from earth their memorial.)

17. धर्मी दोहाई देते हैं और यहोवा सुनता है, और उनको सब विपत्तियों से छुड़ाता है।

17. They cried, and Jehovah heard, And from all their distresses delivered them.

18. यहोवा टूटे मनवालों के समीप रहता है, और पिसे हुओं का उद्वार करता है।।

18. Near [is] Jehovah to the broken of heart, And the bruised of spirit He saveth.

19. धर्मी पर बहुत सी विपत्तियां पड़ती तो हैं, परन्त यहोवा उसको उन सब से मुक्त करता है।
2 कुरिन्थियों 1:5, 2 तीमुथियुस 3:11

19. Many [are] the evils of the righteous, Out of them all doth Jehovah deliver him.

20. वह उसकी हड्डी हड्डी की रक्षा करता है; और उन में से एक भी टूटने नहीं पाती।
यूहन्ना 19:36

20. He is keeping all his bones, One of them hath not been broken.

21. दुष्ट अपनी बुराई के द्वारा मारा जाएगा; और धर्मी के बैरी दोषी ठहरेंगे।

21. Evil doth put to death the wicked, And those hating the righteous are desolate.

22. यहोवा अपने दासों का प्राण मोल लेकर बचा लेता है; और जितने उसके शरणागत हैं उन में से कोई भी दोषी न ठहरेगा।।

22. Jehovah redeemeth the soul of His servants, And none trusting in Him are desolate!
