1. हे ईश्वर मेरी रक्षा कर, क्योंकि मैं तेरा ही शरणागत हूं।

2. I say to GOD, 'Be my Lord!' Without you, nothing makes sense.

3. And these God-chosen lives all around-- what splendid friends they make!

4. Don't just go shopping for a god. Gods are not for sale. I swear I'll never treat god-names like brand-names.

5. यहोवा मेरा भाग और मेरे कटोरे का हिस्सा है; मेरे बांट को तू स्थिर रखता है।

5. My choice is you, GOD, first and only. And now I find I'm your choice!

6. You set me up with a house and yard. And then you made me your heir!

7. मैं यहोवा को धन्य कहता हूं, क्योंकि उस ने मुझे सम्मत्ति दी है; वरन मेरा मन भी रात में मुझे शिक्षा देता है।

7. The wise counsel GOD gives when I'm awake is confirmed by my sleeping heart.

8. मैं ने यहोवा को निरन्तर अपने सम्मुख रखा है : इसलिये कि वह मेरे दहिने हाथ रहता है मैं कभी न डगमगाऊंगा।।
