1. हे ईश्वर मेरी रक्षा कर, क्योंकि मैं तेरा ही शरणागत हूं।

4. जो पराए देवता के पीछे भागते हैं उनका दु:ख बढ़ जाएगा; मैं उनके लोहूवाले तपावन नहीं तपाऊंगा और उनका नाम अपने ओठों से नहीं लूंगा।।

5. यहोवा मेरा भाग और मेरे कटोरे का हिस्सा है; मेरे बांट को तू स्थिर रखता है।

7. मैं यहोवा को धन्य कहता हूं, क्योंकि उस ने मुझे सम्मत्ति दी है; वरन मेरा मन भी रात में मुझे शिक्षा देता है।

11. तू मुझे जीवन का रास्ता दिखाएगा; तेरे निकट आनन्द की भरपूरी है, तेरे दहिने हाथ में सुख सर्वदा बना रहता है।।

11. For why? thou shalt not leaue my soule in hell, nether shalt thou suffre thy saynte to se corrupcion. Thou hast shewed me the wayes off life: thou shalt make me full of ioye wt thy countenaunce. At thy right hande there is pleasure and ioye for euermore.
