3. हे याह, यदि तू अधर्म के कामों का लेखा ले, तो हे प्रभु कौन खड़ा रह सकेगा?

3. Lord, if you punished people for all their sins, no one would be left alive.

4. परन्तु तू क्षमा करनेवाला है? जिस से तेरा भय माना जाए।

4. But you forgive people, so they fear and respect you.

5. मैं यहोवा की बाट जोहता हूं, मैं जी से उसकी बाट जोहता हूं, और मेरी आशा उसके वचन पर है;

5. I am waiting for the Lord to help me. My soul waits for him. I trust what he says.

6. पहरूए जितना भोर को चाहते हैं, हां, पहरूए जितना भोर को चाहते हैं, उस से भी अधिक मैं यहोवा को अपने प्राणों से चाहता हूं।।

7. इस्राएल यहोवा पर आशा लगाए रहे! क्योंकि यहोवा करूणा करनेवाला और पूरा छुटकारा देनेवाला है।
