1. मैं अपनी आंखें पर्वतों की ओर लगाऊंगा। मुझे सहायता कहां से मिलेगी?

1. The song of the stairs. I lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2. मुझे सहायता यहोवा की ओर से मिलती है, जो आकाश और पृथ्वी का कर्त्ता है।।

2. My help cometh even from the LORD which hath made heaven and earth.

3. वह तेरे पांव को टलने न देगा, तेरा रक्षक कभी न ऊंघे।

3. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved, and he that keepeth thee, sleepeth not.

4. सुन, इस्राएल का रक्षक, न ऊंघेगा और न सोएगा।।

4. Behold, he that keepeth Israel, doth neither slumber nor sleep.

5. यहोवा तेरा रक्षक है; यहोवा तेरी दहिनी ओर तेरी आड़ है।

5. The LORD himself is thy keeper, the LORD is thy defense upon thy right hand.

6. न तो दिन को धूप से, और न रात को चांदनी से तेरी कुछ हाति होगी।।

6. So that the sun(Sonne) shall not burn thee by day, neither the moon by night.

7. यहोवा सारी विपत्ति से तेरी रक्षा करेगा; यह तेरे प्राण की रक्षा करेगा।

7. The LORD preserveth thee from all evil, yea it is the LORD that keepeth thy soul.

8. यहोवा तेरे आने जाने में तेरी रक्षा अब से लेकर सदा तक करता रहेगा।।

8. The LORD preserveth thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth for evermore.
