1. सर्वशक्तिमान ने समय क्यों नहीं ठहराया, और जो लोग उसका ज्ञान रखते हैं वे उसके दिन क्यों देखने नहीं पाते?

1. Why doesn't God set a time for court? Why don't his people know where he can be found?

2. कुछ लोग भूमि की सीमा को बढ़ाते, और भेड़ बकरियां छीनकर चराते हैं।

2. Sinners remove boundary markers and take care of sheep they have stolen.

3. वे अनाथों का गदहा हांक ले जाते, और विधवा का बैल कन्धक कर रखते हैं।

3. They cheat orphans and widows by taking their donkeys and oxen.

4. वे दरिद्र लोगों को मार्ग से हटा देते, और देश के दीनों को इकट्ठे छिपना पड़ता है।

4. The poor are trampled and forced to hide

5. देखो, वे जंगली गदहों की नाई अपने काम को और कुछ भोजन यत्न से ढूंढ़ने को निकल जाते हैं; उनके लड़केबालों का भोजन उनको जंगल से मिलता है।

5. in the desert, where they and their children must live like wild donkeys and search for food.

6. उनको खेत में चारा काटना, और दुष्टों की बची बचाई दाख बटोरना पड़ता है।

6. If they want grain or grapes, they must go to the property of these sinners.

7. रात को उन्हें बिना वस्त्रा नंगे पड़े रहना और जाड़े के समय बिना ओढ़े पड़े रहना पड़ता है।

7. They sleep naked in the cold, because they have no cover,

8. वे पहाड़ों पर की झड़ियों से भीगे रहते, और शरण न पाकर चट्टान से लिपट जाते हैं।

8. and during a storm their only shelters are caves among the rocky cliffs.

9. कुछ लोग अनाथ बालक को मा की छाती पर से छीन लेते हैं, और दीन लोगों से बन्धक लेते हैं।

9. Children whose fathers have died are taken from their mothers as payment for a debt.

10. जिस से वे बिना वस्त्रा नंगे फिरते हैं; और भूख के मारे, पूलियां ढोते हैं।

10. Then they are forced to work naked in the grain fields because they have no clothes, and they go hungry.

11. वे उनकी भीतों के भीतर तेल पेरते और उनके कुणडों में दाख रौंदते हुए भी प्यासे रहते हैं।

11. They crush olives to make oil and grapes to make wine-- but still they go thirsty.

12. वे बड़े नगर में कराहते हैं, और घायल किए हुओं का जी दोहाई देता है; परन्तु ईश्वर मूर्खता का हिसाब नहीं लेता।

12. And along the city streets, the wounded and dying cry out, yet God does nothing.

13. फिर कुछ लोग उजियाले से बैर रखते, वे उसके माग को नहीं पहचानते, और न उसके माग में बने रहते हैं।

13. Some rebel and refuse to follow the light.

14. खूनी, पह फटते ही उठकर दीन दरिद्र मनुष्य को घात करता, और रात को चोर बन जाता है।

14. Soon after sunset they murder the poor and the needy, and at night they steal.

15. व्यभिचारी यह सोचकर कि कोई मुझ को देखने न पाए, दिन डूबने की राह देखता रहता है, और वह अपना मुंह छिपाए भी रखता है।

15. Others wait for the dark, thinking they won't be seen if they sleep with the wife or husband of someone else.

16. वे अन्धियारे के समय घरों में सेंध मारते और दिन को छिपे रहते हैं; वे उजियाले को जानते भी नहीं।

16. Robbers hide during the day, then break in after dark because they reject the light.

17. इसलिये उन सभों को भोर का प्रकाश घोर अन्धकार सा जान पड़ता है, क्योंकि घोर अन्धकार का भय वे जानते हैं।

17. They prefer night to day, since the terrors of the night are their friends.

18. वे जल के ऊपर हलकी वस्तु के सरीखे हैं, उनके भाग को पृथ्वी के रहनेवाले कोसते हैं, और वे अपनी दाख की बारियों में लौटने नहीं पाते।

18. Those sinners are filthy foam on the surface of the water. And so, their fields and vineyards will fall under a curse and won't produce.

19. जैसे सूखे और घाम से हिम का जल सूख जाता है वैसे ही पापी लोग अधोलोक में सूख जाते हैं।

19. Just as the heat of summer swallows the snow, the world of the dead swallows those who sin.

20. माता भी उसको भूल जाती, और कीड़े उसे चूसते हें, भवीष्य में उसका स्मरण न रहेगा; इस रीति टेढ़ा काम करनेवाला वृक्ष की राई कट जाता है।

20. Forgotten here on earth, and with their power broken, they taste sweet to worms.

21. वह बांझ स्त्री को जो कभी नहीं जनी लूटता, और विधवा से भलाई करना नहीं चाहता है।

21. Sinners take advantage of widows and other helpless women.

22. बलात्कारियों को भी ईश्वर अपनी शक्ति से खींच लेता है, जो जीवित रहने की आशा नहीं रखता, वह भी फिर उठ बैठता है।

22. But God's mighty strength destroys those in power. Even if they seem successful, they are doomed to fail.

23. उन्हें ऐसे बेखटके कर देता है, कि वे सम्भले रहते हैं; और उसकी कृपादृष्टि उनकी चाल पर लगी रहती है।

23. God may let them feel secure, but they are never out of his sight.

24. वे बढ़ते हैं, तब थोड़ी बेर में जाते रहते हैं, वे दबाए जाते और सभों की नाई रख लिये जाते हैं, और अनाज की बाल की नाई काटे जाते हैं।

24. Great for a while; gone forever! Sinners are mowed down like weeds, then they wither and die.

25. क्या यह सब सच नहीं ! कौन मुझे झुठलाएगा? कौन मेरी बातें निकम्मी ठहराएगा?

25. If I haven't spoken the truth, then prove me wrong.
