1. जो याजक और लेवीय शालतीएल के पुत्रा जरूब्बाबेल और येशू के संग यरूशलेम को गए थे, वे ये थे : अर्थात् सरायाह, यिर्मयाह, एज्रा,

1. These also are the Priestes and the Leuites that went vp with Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel, and Ieshua: to wit, Seraiah, Ieremiah, Ezra,

2. अमर्याह, मल्लूक, हत्तूश,

2. Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,

3. शकन्याह, रहूम, मरेमोत,

3. Shecaniah, Rehum, Merimoth,

4. इद्दॊ, गिन्नतोई, अबिरयाह,

4. Iddo, Ginnetho, Abiiah,

5. मीरयामीन, माद्याह, बिलगा,

5. Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,

6. शमायाह, योआरीब, यदायाह,

6. Shemaiah, and Ioiarib, Iedaiah,

7. सल्लू, आमोक, हिल्किरयाह और यदायाह। येशू के दिनों में याजकों और उनके भाइयों के मुख्य मुख्य पुरूष, ये ही थे।

7. Sallu, Amok, Hilkiiah, Iedaiah: these were the chiefe of the Priests, and of their brethren in the dayes of Ieshua.

8. फिर ये लेवीय गए : अर्थात् येशू, बिन्नूई, कदमीएल, शेरेब्याह, यहूदा और वह मत्तन्याह जो अपने भाइयों समेत धन्यवाद के काम पर ठहराया गया था।

8. And the Leuites, Ieshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Iudah, Mattaniah were ouer the thankesgiuings, he, and his brethren.

9. और उनके भाई बकबुक्याह और उन्नो उनके साम्हने अपनी अपनी सेवकाई में लगे रहते थे।

9. And Bakbukiah and Vnni, and their brethren were about them in the watches.

10. और येशू से योयाकीम उत्पन्न हुआ और योयाकीम से एल्याशीब और एल्याशीब से योयादा,

10. And Ieshua begate Ioiakim: Ioiakim also begate Eliashib, and Eliashib begate Ioiada.

11. और योयादा से योनातान और योनातान से य उत्पन्न हुआ।

11. And Ioiada begate Ionathan, and Ionathan begate Iaddua,

12. और योयाकीम के दिनों में ये याजक अपने अपने पितरों के घराने के मुख्य पुरूष थे, अर्थात् शरायाह का तो मरायाह; यिर्मयाह का हनन्याह।

12. And in the daies of Ioiakim were these, the chiefe fathers of the Priests: vnder Seraiah was Meraiah, vnder Ieremiah, Hananiah,

13. एज्रा का मशुल्लाम; अमर्याह का यहोहानान।

13. Vnder Ezra, Meshullam, vnder Amariah, Iehohanan,

14. मल्लूकी का योनातान; शबन्याह का योसेप।

14. Vnder Melicu, Ionathan, vnder Shebaniah, Ioseph,

15. हारीम का अदना; मरायोत का हेलकै।

15. Vnder Harim, Adna, vnder Maraioth, Helkai,

16. इद्दॊ का जकर्याह; गिन्नतोन का मशुल्लाम।

16. Vnder Iddo, Zechariah, vnder Ginnithon, Meshullam,

17. अबिरयाह का जिक्री; मिन्यामीन के मोअद्याह का पिलतै।

17. Vnder Abiiah, Zichri, vnder Miniamin, and vnder Moadiah, Piltai,

18. बिलगा का शम्मू; शामायह का यहोनातान।

18. Vnder Bilgah, Shammua, vnder Shemaiah, Iehonathan,

19. योयारीब का मत्तनै; यदायाह का उज्जी।

19. Vnder Ioiarib, Mattenai, vnder Iedaiah, Vzzi,

20. सल्लै का कल्लै; आमोक का एबेर।

20. Vnder Sallai, Kallai, vnder Amok, Eber,

21. हिल्किरयाह का हशब्याह; और यदायाह का नतनेल।

21. Vnder Hilkiah, Hashabiah, vnder Iedaiah, Nethaneel.

22. एल्याशीब, योयादा, योहानान और य के दिनों में लेवीय पितरों के घरानों के मुख्य पुरूषों के नाम लिखे जाते थे, और दारा फारसी के राज्य में याजकों के भी नाम लिखे जाते थे।

22. In the dayes of Eliashib, Ioiada, and Iohanan and Iaddua were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites written, and the Priests in the reigne of Darius the Persian.

23. जो लेवीय पितरों के घरानों के मुख्य पुरूष थे, उनके नाम एल्याशीब के पुत्रा योहानान के दिनों तक इतिहास की पुस्तक में लिखे जाते थे।

23. The sonnes of Leui, the chiefe fathers were written in the booke of the Chronicles euen vnto the dayes of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib.

24. और लेवियों के मुख्य पुरूष ये थे : अर्थात् हसब्याह, शेरेब्याह और कदमीएल का पुत्रा येशू; और उनके साम्हने उनके भाई परमेश्वर के भक्त दाऊद की आज्ञा के अनुसार आम्हने- साम्हने स्तुति और धन्यवाद करने पर नियुक्त थे।

24. And the chiefe of the Leuites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Ieshua the sonne of Kadmiel, and their brethren about them to giue prayse and thankes, according to the ordinance of Dauid the man of God, ward ouer against warde.

25. मत्तन्याह, बकबुक्याह, ओबद्याह, मशुल्लाम, तल्मोन और अक्कूब फाटकों के पास के भणडारों का पहरा देनेवाले द्वारपाल थे।

25. Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon and Akkub were porters keeping the warde at the thresholds of the gates.

26. योयाकीम के दिनों में जो योसादाक का पोता और येशू का पुत्रा था, और नहेमायाह अधिपति और एज्रा याजक और शास्त्री के दिनों में ये ही थे।

26. These were in the dayes of Ioiakim, the sonne of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and in the dayes of Nehemiah the captaine, and of Ezra the Priest and scribe.

27. और यरूशलेम की शहरपनाह की प्रतिष्ठा के समय लेवीय अपने सब स्थानों में ढूंढ़े गए, कि यरूशलेम को पहुंचाए जाएं, जिस से आनन्द और धन्यवाद करके और झांझ, सारंगी और वीणा बजाकर, और गाकर उसकी प्रतिष्ठा करें।

27. And in the dedication of the wall at Ierusalem they sought the Leuites out of all their places to bring them to Ierusalem to keepe the dedication and gladnes, both with thankesgiuings and with songs, cymbales, violes and with harpes.

28. तो गवैयों के सन्तान यरूशलेम के चारों ओर के देश से और नतोपातियों के गांवों से,

28. Then the singers gathered themselues together both from the plaine countrey about Ierusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,

29. और बेतगिलगाल से, और गेबा और अज्माबेत के खेतों से इकट्ठे हुए; क्योंकि गवैयों ने यरूशलेम के आस- पास गांव बसा लिये थे।

29. And from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countreis of Geba, and Azmaueth: for the singers had built them villages round about Ierusalem.

30. तब याहकों और लेवियों ने अपने अपने को शुठ्ठ किया; और उन्हों ने प्रजा को, और फाटकों और शहरपनाह को भी शुठ्ठ किया।

30. And the Priests and Leuites were purified, and clensed the people, and the gates, and the wall.

31. तब मैं ने यहूदी हाकिमों को शहरपनाह पर चढ़ाकर दो बड़े दल ठहराए, जो धन्यवाद करते हुए धूमधाम के साथ चलते थे। इनमें से एक दल तो दक्खिन ओर, अर्थात् कूड़ाफाटक की ओर शहरपनाह के ऊपर ऊपर से चला;

31. And I brought vp the princes of Iudah vpon the wall, and appointed two great companies to giue thankes, and the one went on the right hand of the wall toward the dung gate.

32. और उसके पीछे पीछे ये चले, अर्थात् होशयाह और यहूदा के आधे हाकिम,

32. And after them went Hoshaiah, and halfe of the princes of Iudah,

33. और अजर्याह, एज्रा, मशुल्लाम,

33. And Azariah, Ezra and Meshullam,

34. यहूदा, बिन्यामीन, शमायाह, और यिर्मयाह,

34. Iudah, Beniamin, and Shemaiah, and Ieremiah,

35. और याजकों के कितने पुत्रा तुरहियां लिये हुए : अर्थात् जकर्याह जो योहानान का पुत्रा था, यह शमायाह का पुत्रा, यह मत्तन्याह का पुत्रा, यह मीकायाह का पुत्रा, यह जक्कूर का पुत्रा, यह आसाप का पुत्रा था।

35. And of the Priests sonnes with trumpets, Zechariah the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Michaiah, the sonne of Zaccur, ye sonne of Asaph.

36. और उसके भाई शमायाह, अजरेल, मिललै, गिललै, माऐ, नतनेल, यहूदा और हनानी परमेश्वर के भक्त दाऊद के बाजे लिये हुए थे; और उनके आगे आगे एज्रा शास्त्री चला।

36. And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Iudah, Hanani, with the musicall instruments of Dauid the man of God: and Ezra the scribe went before them.

37. ये सेताफाटक से हो सीधे दाऊदपुर की सीढ़ी पर चढ़, शहरपनाह की ऊंचाई पर से चलकर, दाऊद के भवन के ऊपर से होकर, पूरब की ओर जलफाटक तक पहुंचे।

37. And to the gate of the fountaine, euen ouer against them went they vp by the staires of the citie of Dauid, at the going vp of the wall beyond the house of Dauid, euen vnto the water gate Eastward.

38. और धन्यवाद करने और धूमधाम से चलनेवालों का दूसरा दल, और उनके पीछे पीछे मैं, और आधे लोग उन से मिलने को शहरपनाह के ऊपर ऊपर से भट्ठों के गुम्मट के पास से चौड़ी शहरपनाह तक।

38. And the seconde companie of them that gaue thankes, went on the other side, and I after them, and the halfe of the people was vpon the wall, and vpon the towre of the furnaces euen vnto the broad wall.

39. और एप्रैम के फाटक और पुराने फाटक, और मछलीफाटक, और हननेल के गुम्मट, और हम्मेआ नाम गुम्मट के पास से होकर भेड़ फाटक तक चले, और पहरूओं के फाटक के पास खड़े हो गए।

39. And vpon the gate of Ephraim, and vpon the olde gate, and vpon the fishgate, and the towre of Hananeel, and the towre of Meah, euen vnto the sheepegate: and they stood in the gate of the warde.

40. तब धन्यवाद करने वालों के दोनों दल और मैं और मेरे साथ आधे हाकिम परमेश्वर के भवन में खड़े हो गए।

40. So stood the two companies (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers with me.

41. और एल्याकीम, मासेयाह, मिन्यामीन, मीकायाह, एल्योएनै, जकर्याह और हनन्याह नाम याजक तुरहियां लिये हुए थे।

41. The Priests also, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,

42. और मासेयाह, शमायाह, एलीआजर, उज्जी, यहोहानान, मल्किरयाह, एलाम, ओर एजेर (खड़े हुए थे) और गवैये जिनका मुखिया यिज्रह्माह था, वह ऊंचे स्वर से गाते बजाते रहे।

42. And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Vzzi, and Iehohanan, and Malchiiah, and Elam, and Ezer: and the singers sang loude, hauing Izrahiah which was the ouerseer.

43. उसी दिन लोगों ने बड़े बड़े मेलबलि चढ़ाए, और आनन्द लिया; क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने उनको बहुत ही आनन्दित किया था; स्त्रियों ने और बालबच्चों ने भी आनन्द किया। और यरूशलेम के आनन्द की ध्वनि दूर दूर तक फैल गई।

43. And the same day they offered great sacrifices and reioyced: for God had giuen them great ioy, so that both the women, and the children were ioyfull: and the ioy of Ierusalem was heard farre off.

44. उसी दिन खज़ानों के, उठाई हुई भेंटों के, पहिली पहिली उपज के, और दशमांशों की कोठरियों के अधिकारी ठहराए गए, कि उन में नगर नगर के खेतों के अनुसार उन वस्तुओं को जमा करें, जो व्यवस्था के अनुसार याजकों और लेवियों के भाग में की थी; क्योंकि यहूदी उपस्थ्ति याजकों और लेवियों के कारण आनन्दित थे।

44. Also at the same time were men appointed ouer the chambers of the store for the offerings (for the first fruites, and for the tithes) to gather into them out of the fieldes of the cities, the portions of the Law for the Priests and the Leuites: for Iudah reioyced for the Priests and for the Leuites, that serued.

45. इसलिये वे अपने परमेश्वर के काम और शुठ्ठता के विषय चौकसी करते रहे; और गवैये ओर द्वारपाल भी दाऊद और उसके पुत्रा सुलैमान की आज्ञा के अनुसार वैसा ही करते रहे।

45. And both the singers and the Leuites kept the ward of their God, and the warde of the purification according to the commandement of Dauid, and Salomon his sonne.

46. प्राचीनकाल, अर्थात् दाऊद और आसाप के दिनों में तो गवैयों के प्रधान थे, और परमेश्वर की स्तुति और धन्यवाद के गीत गाए जाते थे।

46. For in the dayes of Dauid and Asaph, of olde were chiefe singers, and songs of praise and thankesgiuing vnto God.

47. और जरूब्बाबेल और नहेमायाह के दिनों में सारे इस्राएली, गवैयों और द्वारपालों के प्रतिदिन का भाग देते रहे; और वे लेवियों के अंश पवित्रा करके देते थे; और लेवीय हारून की सन्तान के अंश पवित्रा करके देते थे।

47. And in the dayes of Zerubbabel, and in the dayes of Nehemiah did al Israel giue portions vnto the singers and porters, euerie day his portion, and they gaue the holy things vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue the holy things vnto the sonnes of Aaron.
