1. फिर राजा दाऊद ने सारी सभा से कहा, मेरा पुत्रा सुलैमान सुकुमार लड़का है, और केवल उसी को परमेश्वर ने चुना है; काम तो भारी है, क्योंकि यह भवन मनुष्य के लिये नहीं, यहोवा परमेश्वर के लिये बनेगा।

1. Moreouer Dauid the King sayde vnto all the Congregation, God hath chosen Salomon mine onely sonne yong and tender, and the worke is great: for this house is not for man, but for the Lord God.

2. मैं ने तो अपनी शक्ति भर, अपने परमेश्वर के भवन के निमित्त सोने की वस्तुओं के लिये सोना, चान्दी की वस्तुओं के लिये चानी, पीतल की वस्तुओं के लिये पीतल, लोहे की वस्तुओं के लिये लोहा, और लकड़ी की वस्तुओं के लिये लकड़ी, और सुलैमानी पत्थर, और जड़ने के योग्य मणि, और पच्ची के काम के लिये रड़ग रड़ग के नग, और सब भांति के मणि और बहुत संगमर्मर इकट्ठा किया है।

2. Now I haue prepared with all my power for the house of my God, golde for vessels of golde, and siluer for them of siluer, and brasse for things of brasse, yron for things of yron, and wood for things of wood, and onix stones, and stones to be set, and carbuncle stones and of diuers colours, and all precious stones, and marble stones in aboundance.

3. फिर मेरा मन अपने परमेश्वर के भवन में लगा है, इस कारण जो कुछ मैं ने पवित्रा भवन के लिये इकट्ठा किया है, उस सब से अधिक मैं अपना निज धन भी जो सोना चान्दी के रूप में मेरे पास है, अपने परमेश्वर के भवन के लिये दे देता हूँ।

3. Moreouer, because I haue delite in the house of my God, I haue of mine owne golde and siluer, which I haue giuen to the house of my God, beside all that I haue prepared for the house of the Sanctuarie,

4. अर्थात् तीन हजार किक्कार ओपीर का सोना, और सात हजार किक्कार तपाई हुई चान्दी, जिस से कोठरियों की भीतें मढ़ी जाएं।

4. Euen three thousand talents of gold of the golde of Ophir, and seuen thousand talents of fined siluer to ouerlay the walles of the houses.

5. और सोने की वस्तुओं के लिये सोना, और चान्दी की वस्तुओं के लिये चान्दी, और कारीगरों से बनानेवाले सब प्रकार के काम के लिये मैं उसे देता हूँ। और कौन अपनी इच्छा से यहोवा के लिये अपने को अर्पण कर देता है?

5. The golde for the things of golde, and the siluer for things of siluer, and for all the worke by the handes of artificers: and who is willing to fill his hand to day vnto the Lord?

6. तब पितरों के घरानों के प्रधानों और इस्राएल के गोत्रों के हाकिमों और सहस्रपतियों और शतपतियों और राजा के काम के अधिकारियोें ने अपनी अपनी इच्छा से,

6. So the princes of the families, and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captaines of thousands and of hundreths, with the rulers of the Kings worke, offred willingly,

7. परमेश्वर के भवन के काम के लिये पांच हजार किक्कार और दस हजार दर्कनोन सोना, दस हजार किक्कार चान्दी, अठारह हजार किक्कार पीतल, और एक लाख किक्कार लोहा दे दिया।

7. And they gaue for the seruice of the house of God fiue thousande talents of golde, and ten thousand pieces, and ten thousand talents of siluer, and eighteene thousand talents of brasse, and one hundreth thousand talents of yron.

8. और जिनके पास मणि थे, उन्हों ने उन्हें यहोवा के भवन के खजाने के लिये गेश नी यहीएल के हाथा में दे दिया।

8. And they with whom precious stones were found, gaue them to the treasure of ye house of the Lord, by the hand of Iehiel the Gershunnite.

9. तब प्रजा के लोग आनन्दित हुए, क्योंकि हाकिमों ने प्रसन्न होकर खरे मन और अपनी अपनी इच्छा से यहोवा के लिये भेंट दी थी; और दाऊद राजा बहुत ही आनन्दित हुआ।

9. And the people reioyced when they offred willingly: for they offred willingly vnto ye Lord, with a perfite heart. And Dauid the King also reioyced with great ioy.

10. तब दाऊद ने सारी सभा के सम्मुख यहोवा का धन्यवाद किया, और दाऊद ने कहा, हे यहोवा ! हे हमारे मूल पुरूष इस्राएल के परमेश्वर ! अनादिकाल से अनन्तकाल तक तू धन्य है।

10. Therefore Dauid blessed the Lord before all the Congregation, and Dauid sayde, Blessed be thou, O Lord God, of Israel our father, for euer and euer.

11. हे यहोवा ! महिमा, पराक्रम, शोभा, सामर्थ्य और विभव, तेरा ही है; क्योंकि अकाश और पृथ्वी में जो कुछ है, वह तेरा ही है; हे यहोवा ! राज्य तेरा है, और तू सभों के ऊपर मुख्य और महान ठहरा है।

11. Thine, O Lord, is greatnesse and power, and glory, and victorie and praise: for all that is in heauen and in earth is thine: thine is the kingdome, O Lord, and thou excellest as head ouer all.

12. धन और महिमा तेरी ओर से मिलती हैं, और तू सभों के ऊपर प्रभुता करता है। सामर्थ्य और पराक्रम तेरे ही हाथ में हैं, और सब लोगों को बढ़ाना इौर बल देना तेरे हाथ में है।

12. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest ouer all, and in thine hand is power and strength, and in thine hande it is to make great, and to giue strength vnto all.

13. इसलिये अब हे हमारे परमेश्वर ! हम तेरा ध्न्यवाद और तेरे महिमायुक्त नाम की स्तुति करते हैं।

13. Now therefore our God, we thanke thee, and prayse thy glorious Name.

14. मैं क्या हूँ? और मेरी प्रजा क्या है? कि हम को इस रीति से अपनी इच्छा से तुझे भेंट देने की शक्ति मिले? तुझी से तो सब कुछ मिलता है, और हम ने तेरे हाथ से पाकर तुझे दिया है।

14. But who am I, and what is my people, that we shoulde be able to offer willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee: and of thine owne hand we haue giuen thee.

15. तेरी दृष्टि में हम तो अपने सब पुरखाओं की नाई पराए और परदेशी हैं; पृथ्वी पर हमारे दिन छाया की नाई बीते जाते हैं, और हमारा कुछ ठिकाना नहीं।

15. For we are stragers before thee, and soiourners, like all our fathers: our dayes are like ye shadowe vpon the earth, and there is none abiding.

16. हे हमारे परमेश्वर यहोवा ! वह जो बड़ा संचय हम ने तेरे पवित्रा नाम का एक भवन बनाने के लिये किया है, वह तेरे ही हाथ से हमे मिला था, और सब तेरा ही है।

16. O Lord our God, all this abundance that we haue prepared to buylde thee an house for thine holy Name, is of thine hand and all is thine.

17. और हे मेरे परमेश्वर ! मैं जानता हूँ कि तू मन को जांचता है और सिधाई से प्रसन्न रहता है; मैं ने तो यह सब कुछ मन की सिधाई और अपनी इच्छा से दिया है; और अब मैं ने आनन्द से देखा है, कि तेरी प्रजा के लोग जो यहां उपस्थित हैं, वह अपनी इच्छा से तेरे लिये भेंट देते हैं।

17. I knowe also, my God, that thou tryest the heart, and hast pleasure in righteousnesse: I haue offred willingly in the vprightnesse of mine heart all these things: now also haue I seene thy people which are found here, to offer vnto thee willingly with ioy.

18. हे यहोवा ! हे हमारे पुरखा इब्राहीम, इसहाक और इस्राएल के परमेश्वर ! अपनी प्रजा के मन के विचारों में यह बात बनाए रख और उनके मन अपनी ओर लगाए रख।

18. O Lord God of Abraham, Izhak and Israel our fathers, keepe this for euer in the purpose, and the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their hearts vnto thee.

19. और मेरे पुत्रा सुलैमान का मन ऐसा खरा कर दे कि वह तेरी आज्ञाओं चितौनियों और विधियों को मानता रहे और यह सब कुछ करे, और उस भवन को बनाए, जिसकी तैयारी मैं ने की है।

19. And giue vnto Salomon my sonne a perfit heart to keepe thy commandements, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to doe all things, and to builde the house which I haue prepared.

21. और दूसरे दिन उन्हों ने यहोवा के लिये बलिदान किए, अर्थात् अध समेत एक हजार बैल, एक हजार मेढ़े और एक हजार भेड़ के बच्चे होमबलि करके चढ़ाए, और सब इस्राएल के लिये बहुत से मेलबलि चढ़ाए। उसी दिन यहोवा के साम्हने उन्हों ने बड़े आनन्द से खाया और पिया।

21. And they offred sacrifices vnto the Lord, and on the morowe after that day, they offered burnt offrings vnto the Lord, euen a thousande yong bullocks, a thousand rammes and a thousand sheepe, with their drinke offrings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.

22. फिर उन्हों ने दाऊद के पुत्रा सुलैमान को दूसरी बार राजा ठहराकर यहोवा की ओर से प्रधान होने के लिये उसका और याजक होने के लिये सादोक का अभिषेक किया।

22. And they did eate and drinke before the Lord the same day with great ioy, and they made Salomon the sonne of Dauid King the seconde time, and anoynted him prince before the Lord, and Zadok for the hie Priest.

23. तब सुलैमान अपने पिता दाऊद के स्थान पर राजा होकर यहोवा के सिंहासन पर विराजने लगा और भाग्यवान हुआ, और इस्राएल उसके अधीन हुआ।

23. So Salomon sate on the throne of the Lord, as King in steade of Dauid his father, and prospered: and all Israel obeyed him.

24.

24. And all the princes and men of power, and all the sonnes of King Dauid submitted them selues vnder King Salomon.

25. और सब हाकिमों और शूरवीरों और राजा दाऊद के सब पुत्रों ने सुलैमान राजा की अधीनता अंगीकार की।

25. And the Lord magnified Salomon in dignitie, in the sight of all Israel, and gaue him so glorious a kingdome, as no King had before him in Israel.

26. और यहोवा ने सुलैमान को सब इस्राएल के देखते बहुत बढ़ाया, और उसे ऐसा राजकीय ऐश्वर्य दिया, जैसा उस से पहिले इस्राएल के किसी राजा का न हुआ था।

26. Thus Dauid the sonne of Ishai reigned ouer all Israel.

27. इस प्रकार यिहौ के पुत्रा दाऊद ने सारे इस्राएल के ऊपर राज्य किया।

27. And the space that he reigned ouer Israel, was fourtie yeere: seuen yeere reigned he in Hebron, and three and thirtie yeere reigned he in Ierusalem:

28. और उसके इस्राएल पर राज्य करने का समय चालीस वर्ष का था; उस ने सात वर्ष तो हेब्रोन में और तैंतीस वर्ष यरूशलेम में राज्य किया।

28. And he dyed in a good age, full of dayes, riches and honour, and Salomon his sonne reigned in his steade.

29. और वह पूरे बूढ़ापे की अवस्था में दीर्घायु होकर और धन और विभव, मनमाना भोगकर मर गया; और उसका पुत्रा सुलैमान उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।

29. Concerning the actes of Dauid the King first and last, behold, they are written in the booke of Samuel the Seer, and in the booke of Nathan the Prophet, and in the booke of Gad the Seer,

30. आदि से अन्त तक राजा दाऊद के सब कामों का वृत्तान्त,

30. With all his reigne and his power, and times that went ouer him, and ouer Israel and ouer all the kingdomes of the earth.
