1. इस्राएलियो की गिनती, अर्थात् मितरों के घरानों के मुख्य मुख्य पुरूषों और यहस्रपतियों और शतपतियों और उनके सरदारों की गिनती जो वर्ष भर के महीने महीने उपस्थित होने और छुट्टी पानेवाले दलों के सब विषयों में राजा की सेवा टहल करते थे, एक एक दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

1. The children of Israel also after their nomber, euen the chiefe fathers and captaines of thousandes and of hundreths, and their officers that serued the King by diuers courses, which came and in went out, moneth by moneth throughout al the moneths of the yeere: in euery course were foure and twentie thousand.

2. पहिले महीने के लिये पहिले दल का अधिकारी जब्दीएल का पुत्रा याशोबाम नियुक्त हुआ; और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

2. Ouer the first course for the first moneth was Iashobeam the sonne of Zabdiel: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.

3. वह पेरेस के वंश का था और पहिले महीने में सब सेनापतियों का अधिकारी था।

3. Of the sonnes of Perez was the chiefe ouer all the princes of the armies for the first moneth.

4. और दूसरे महीने के दल का अधिकारी दोदै नाम एक अहोही था, और उसके दल का प्रधान मिक्लोत था, और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

4. And ouer the course of the second moneth was Dodai, an Ahohite, and this was his course, and Mikloth was a captaine, and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.

5. तीसरे महीने के लिये तीसरा सेनापति यहोयादा याजक का पुत्रा बनायाह था और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

5. The captaine of the thirde hoste for the third moneth was Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada the chiefe Priest: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.

6. यह वही बनायाह है, जो तीसों शूरों में वीर, और तीसों में श्रेष्ठ भी था; और उसके दल में उसका पुत्रा अम्मीजाबाद था।

6. This Benaiah was mightie among thirtie and aboue the thirtie, and in his course was Amizabad his sonne.

7. चौथे महीने के लिये चौथा सेनापति योआब का भाई असाहेल था, और उसके बाद उसका पुत्रा जबद्याह था और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

7. The fourth for the fourth moneth was Asahel the brother of Ioab, and Zebadiah his sonne after him: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.

8. पांचवें महीने के लिये पांचवां सेनापति यिज्राही शम्हूत था और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

8. The fift for ye fift moneth was prince Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.

9. छठवें महीने के लिये छठवां सेनापति तकोई इक्केश का पुत्रा ईरा था और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

9. The sixt for the sixt moneth was Ira the sonne of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.

10. सातवें महीने के लिये सातवां सेनापति एप्रैम के वंश का हेलेस पलोनी था और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

10. The seuenth for the seuenth moneth was Helez the Pelonite, of the sonnes of Ephraim: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.

11. आठवें महीने के लिये आठवां सेनापति जेरह के वंश में से हूशाई सिब्बकै था और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

11. The eight for the eight moneth was Sibbecai the Hushathite of the Zarhites: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.

12. नौवें महीने के लिये नौवां सेनापति बिन्यामीनी अबीएजेर अनातोतवासी था और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

12. The ninth for the ninth moneth was Abiezer the Anethothite of the sonnes of Iemini: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.

13. दसवें महीने के लिये दसवां सेनापति जेरही महरै नतोपावासी था और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

13. The tenth for the tenth moneth was Maharai, the Netophathite of the Zarhites: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.

14. ग्यारहवें महीने के लिये ग्यारहवां सेनापति एप्रैम के वंश का बनायाह पिरातोनवासी था और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

14. The eleueth for the eleuenth moneth was Benaiah the Pirathonite of the sonnes of Ephraim: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.

15. बारहवें महीने के लिये बारहवां सेनापति ओत्नीएल के वंश का हेल्दै नतोपावासी था और उसके दल में चौबीस हजार थे।

15. The twelft for the twelft moneth was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.

16. फिर इस्राएली गोत्रों के ये अधिकारी थे : अर्थात् रूबेनियों का प्रधान जिक्री का पुत्रा एलीआज़र; शिमोनियों से माका का पुत्रा शपत्याह।

16. Moreouer the rulers ouer the tribes of Israel were these: ouer the Reubenites was ruler, Eliezer the sonne of Zichri: ouer the Shimeonites, Shephatiah the sonne of Maachah:

17. लेवी से कमूएल का पुत्रा हशब्याह; हारून की सन्तान का सादोक।

17. Ouer the Leuites, Hashabiah the sonne of Remuel: ouer them of Aharon, and Zadok:

18. यहूदा का एलीहू नाम दाऊद का एक भाई, इस्साकार से मीकाएल का पुत्रा ओम्नी।

18. Ouer Iudah, Elihu of the brethren of Dauid: ouer Issachar, Omri the sonne of Michael:

19. जबूलून से ओबद्याह का पुत्रा यिशमायाह, नप्ताली से अज्रीएल का पुत्रा यरीमोत।

19. Ouer Zebulun, Ishmaiah the sonne of Obadiah: ouer Naphtali, Ierimoth the sonne of Azriel:

20. एप्रैम से अजज्याह का पुत्रा होशे, मनश्शे से आधे गोत्रा का, फ़दायाह का पुत्रा योएल।

20. Ouer the sonnes of Ephraim, Hoshea the sonne of Azazziah: ouer the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Ioel the sonne of Pedaiah:

21. गिलाद में आधे गोत्रा मनश्शे से जकर्याह का पुत्रा इद्दॊ़, बिन्यामीन से अब्नेर का पुत्रा यासीएल,

21. Ouer the other halfe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the sonne of Zechariah: ouer Beniamin, Iaasiel the sonne of Abner:

22. और दान से यारोहाम का पुत्रा अजरेल, ठहरा। ये ही इस्राएल के गोत्रों के हाकिम थे।

22. Ouer Dan, Azariel the sonne of Ieroham. these are the princes of the tribes of Israel.

23. परन्तु दाऊद ने उनकी गिनती बीस वर्ष की अवस्था के तीचे न की, क्योंकि यहोवा ने इस्राएल की गिनती आकाश के तारों के बराबर बढ़ाने के लिये कहा था।

23. But Dauid tooke not the nober of them from twentie yeere olde and vnder, because the Lord had sayde that he would increase Israel like vnto the starres of the heauens.

24. सरूयाह का पुत्रा योआब गिनती लेने लगा, पर निपटा न सका क्योंकि ईश्वर का क्रोध इस्राएल पर भड़का, और यह गिनती राजा दाऊद के इतिहास में नहीं लिखी गई।

24. And Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah beganne to nomber: but hee finished it not, because there came wrath for it against Israel, neither was the nomber put into the Chronicles of King Dauid.

25. फिर अदीएल का पुत्रा अजमावेत राज भण्डारों का अधिकारी था, और देहात और नगरों और गांवों और गढ़ों के भण्डारों का अणिकारी उज्जिरयाह का पुत्रा यहोनातान था।

25. And ouer the Kings treasures was Azmaueth the sonne of Adiel: and ouer the treasures in the fieldes, in the cities and in the villages and in the towers was Iehonathan the sonne of Vzziah:

26. और जो भूमि को जोतकर बोकर खेती करते थे, उनका अधिकारी कलूब का पुत्रा एज्री था।

26. And ouer the workemen in the fielde that tilled the ground, was Ezri the sonne of Chelub:

27. और दाख की बारियों का अधिकारी रामाई शिमी और दाख की बारियों की उपज जो दाखमधु के भण्डारों में रखने के लिये थी, उसका अधिकारी शापामी जब्दी था।

27. And ouer them that dressed the vines, was Shimei the Ramathite: and ouer that which apperteined to the vines, and ouer the store of the wine was Sabdi the Shiphmite:

28. ओर नीचे के देश के जलपाई और गूलर के वृक्षों का अधिकारी गदेरी बाल्हानान था और तेल के भण्डारों का अधिकारी योआश था।

28. And ouer the oliue trees and mulberie trees that were in the valleys, was Baal Hanan the Gederite: and ouer the store of the oyle was Ioash:

29. और शारोन में चरनेवाले गाय- बैलों का अधिकारी शारोनी शित्रौ था और तराइयों के गाय- बैलों का अधिकारी अदलै का पुत्रा शापात था।

29. And ouer the oxen that fed in Sharon, was Shetrai the Sharonite: and ouer the oxen in the valleyes was Shaphat the sonne of Adlai:

30. और ऊंटों का अधिकारी इश्माएली ओबील और गदहियों का अधिकारी मेरोनोतवासी येहदयाह।

30. And ouer the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite: and ouer the asses was Iehdeiah the Meronothite:

31. और भैड़- बकरियों का अधिकारी हग्री याजीज था। ये ही सब राजा दाऊद के धन सम्मत्ति के अधिकारी थे।

31. And ouer the sheepe was Iaziz the Hagerite: all these were the rulers of the substance that was King Dauids.

32. और दाऊद का भतीजा योनातान एक समझदार मंत्री और शास्त्री था, और किसी हक्मोनी का पुत्रा एहीएल राजपुत्रों के संग रहा करता था।

32. And Iehonathan Dauids vncle a man of counsell and vnderstanding (for he was a scribe) and Iehiel the sonne of Hachmoni were with the Kings sonnes.

33. और अहीतोपेल राजा का मंत्री था, और एरेकी हूशै राजा का मित्रा था।

33. And Ahitophel was the Kings counseller, and Hushai the Archite the Kings friend.

34. और यहीतोपेल के बाद बनायाह का पुत्रा यहोयादा और एरयातार मंत्री ठहराए गए। और राजा का प्रधान सेनापति योआब था।

34. And after Ahitophel was Iehoiada the sonne of Benaiah and Abiathar: and captaine of the Kings armie was Ioab.
