1. भाईचारे की प्रीति बनी रहे।

2. पहुनाई करना न भूलना, क्योंकि इस के द्वारा कितनों ने अनजाने स्वर्गदूतों की पहुनाई की है।

2. Be not forgetfull to lodge straungers. For therby have dyvers receaved angels into their houses vnwares.

3. कैदियों की ऐसी सुधि लो, कि मानो उन के साथ तुम भी कैद हो; और जिन के साथ बुरा बर्ताव किया जाता है, उन की भी यह समझकर सुधि लिया करो, कि हमारी भी देह है।

3. Remember them that are in bondes even as though ye were bounde with them. Be myndfull of them which are in adversitie as ye which are yet in youre bodies.

4. विवाह सब में आदर की बात समझी जाए, और बिछौना निष्कलंक रहे; क्योंकि परमेश्वर व्यभिचारियों, और परस्त्रीगामियों का न्याय करेगा।

4. Let wedlocke be had in pryce in all poyntes and let the chamber be vndefiled: for whore kepers and advoutrars god will iudge.

5. तुम्हारा स्वभाव लोभरहित हो, और जो तुम्हारे पास है, उसी पर संतोष किया करो; क्योंकि उस ने आप ही कहा है, कि मैं तुझे कभी न छोडूंगा, और न कभी तुझे त्यागूंगा।

5. Let youre conversacion be with out coveteousnes and be contet with that ye have all redy. For he verely sayd: I will not fayle the nether forsake the:

6. इसलिये हम बेधड़क होकर कहते हैं, कि प्रभु, मेरा सहायक है; मैं न डरूंगा; मनुष्य मेरा क्या कर सकता है।।

7. जो तुम्हारे अगुवे थे, और जिन्हों ने तुम्हें परमेश्वर का वचन सुनाया है, उन्हें स्मरण रखो; और ध्यान से उन के चाल- चलन का अन्त देखकर उन के विश्वास का अनुकरण करो।

9. नाना प्रकार के और ऊपरी उपदेशों से न भरमाए जाओ, क्योंकि मन का अनुग्रह से दृढ़ रहना भला है, न कि उन खाने की वस्तुओं से जिन से काम रखनेवालों को कुछ लाभ न हुआ।

9. Be not caryed aboute with divers and straunge learnynge. For it is a good thynge that the herte be stablisshed with grace and not with meates which have not proffeted them that have had their pastyme in them.

10. हमारी एक ऐसी वेदी है, जिस पर से खाने का अधिकार उन लोगों को नहीं, जो तम्बू की सेवा करते हैं।

11. क्योंकि जिन पशुओं का लोहू महायाजक पाप- बलि के लिये पवित्रा स्थान में ले जाता है, उन की देह छावनी के बाहर जलाई जाती है।

12. इसी कारण, यीशु ने भी लोगों को अपने ही लोहू के द्वारा पवित्रा करने के लिये फाटक के बाहर दुख उठाया।

13. सो आओ उस की निन्दा अपने ऊपर लिए हुए छावनी के बाहर उसके पास निकल चलें।

14. क्योंकि यहां हमारा कोई स्थिर रहनेवाला नगर नहीं, बरन हम एक आनेवाले नगर की खोज में हैं।

15. इसलिये हम उसके द्वारा स्तुतिरूपी बलिदान, अर्थात् उन होठों का फल जो उसके नाम का अंगीकार करते हैं, परमेश्वर के लिये सर्वदा चढ़ाया करें।

15. For by him offer we the sacrifice of laude allwayes to god: that is to saye the frute of those lyppes which confesse his name.

16. पर भलाई करना, और उदारता न भूलो; क्योंकि परमेश्वर ऐसे बलिदानों से प्रसन्न होता है।

16. To do good and to distribute forget not for with suche sacrifises god is pleased.

17. अपने अगुवों की मानो; और उनके अधीन रहो, क्योंकि वे उन की नाई तुम्हारे प्राणों के लिये जागते रहते, जिन्हें लेखा देना पड़ेगा, कि वे यह काम आनन्द से करें, न कि ठंडी सांस ले लेकर, क्योंकि इस दशा में तुम्हें कुछ लाभ नहीं।

17. Obeye the that have the oversight of you and submit youre selves to them for they watch for youre soules even as they that must geve a comptes: that they maye do it with ioye and not with grefe. For that is an vnproffitable thynge for you.

18. हमारे लिये प्रार्थना करते रहो, क्योंकि हमें भरोसा है, कि हमारा विवेक शुद्ध है; और हम सब बातों में अच्छी चाल चलना चाहते हैं।

18. Praye for vs. We have confidence because we have a good conscience in all thynges and desyre to live honestly.

19. और इस के करने के लिये मैं तुम्हें और भी समझाता हूं, कि मैं शीघ्र तुम्हारे पास फिर आ सकूं।।

19. I desire you therfore somwhat the moare aboundantly that ye so do that I maye be restored to you quyckly.

20. अब शान्तिदाता परमेश्वर जो हमारे प्रभु यीशु को जो भेड़ों का महान रखवाला है सनातन वाचा के लोहू के गुण से मरे हुओं में से जिलाकर ले आया।

21. तुम्हें हर एक भली बात में सिद्ध करे, जिस से तुम उस की इच्छा पूरी करो, और जो कुछ उस को भाता है, उसे यीशु मसीह के द्वारा हम में उत्पन्न करे, जिस की बड़ाई युगानुयुग होती रहे। आमीन।।

21. make you parfect in all good workes to do his will workynge in you yt which is pleasaut in his syght thorow Iesus christ To whom be prayse for ever whill the worlde endureth Amen.

22. हे भाइयों मैं तुम से बिनती करता हूं, कि इन उपदेश की बातों को सह लेओ; क्योंकि मैं ने तुम्हें बहुत संक्षेप में लिखा है।

22. I beseche you brethren suffre the wordes of exhortacio: For we have written vnto you in feawe wordes:

23. तुम यह जान लो कि तीमुथियुस हमारा भाई छूट गया है और यदि वह शीघ्र आ गया, तो मैं उसके साथ तुम से भेंट करूंगा।

23. knowe the brother Timothe whom we have sent fro vs with whom (yf he come shortly) I will se you.

24. अपने सब अगुवों और सब पवित्रा लोगों को नमस्कार कहो। इतालियावाले तुम्हें नमस्कार कहते हैं।।

24. Salute the that have the oversight of you and all the saynctes. They of Italy salute you.
