1. Jerusalem, stand up! Shine! Your new day is dawning. The glory of the LORD shines brightly on you.

2. देख, पृथ्वी पर तो अन्धियारा और राज्य राज्य के लोगों पर घोर अन्धकार छाया हुआ है; परन्तु तेरे ऊपर यहोवा उदय होगा, और उसका तेज तुझ पर प्रगट होगा।

2. The earth and its people are covered with darkness, but the glory of the LORD is shining upon you.

3. Nations and kings will come to the light of your dawning day.

4. अपनी आंखें चारो ओर उठाकर देख; वे सब के सब इकट्ठे होकर तेरे पास आ रहे हैं; तेरे पुत्रा दूर से आ रहे हैं, और तेरी पुत्रियां हाथों- हाथ पहुंचाई जा रही हैं।

4. Open your eyes! Look around! Crowds are coming. Your sons are on their way from distant lands; your daughters are being carried like little children.

5. तब तू इसे देखेगी और तेरा मुख चमकेगा, तेरा हृदय थरथराएगा और आनन्द से भर जाएगा; क्योंकि समुद्र का सारा धन और अन्यजातियों की धन- सम्पति तुझ को मिलेगी।

5. When you see this, your faces will glow; your hearts will pound and swell with pride. Treasures from across the sea and the wealth of nations will be brought to you.

6. तेरे देश में ऊंटों के झुण्ड और मिद्यान और एपादेशों की साड़नियां इकट्ठी होंगी; शिबा के सब लोग आकर सोना और लोबान भेंट लाएंगे और यहोवा का गुणानुवाद आनन्द से सुनाएंगे।

6. Your country will be covered with caravans of young camels from Midian and Ephah. The people of Sheba will bring gold and spices in praise of me, the LORD.

7. केदार की सब भेड़- बकरियां इकट्ठी होकर तेरी हो जाएंगी, नबायोत के मेढ़े तेरी सेवा टहल के काम में आएंगे; मेरी वेदी पर वे ग्रहण किए जाएंगे और मैं अपने शोभायमान भवन को और भी प्रतापी कर दूंगा।।

7. Every sheep of Kedar will come to you; rams from Nebaioth will be yours as well. I will accept them as offerings and bring honor to my temple.

8. What is that sailing by like clouds or like doves flying home?

9. निश्चय द्वीप मेरी ही बाट देखेंगे, पहिले तो तर्शीश के जहाज आएंगे, कि, मेरे पुत्रों को सोने चान्दी समेत तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा अर्थात् इस्राएल के पवित्रा के नाम के निमित्त दूर से पहुंचाए, क्योंकि उस ने तुझे शोभायमान किया है।।

9. On those distant islands your people are waiting for me, the LORD. Seagoing ships lead the way to bring them home with their silver and gold. I, the holy LORD God of Israel, do this to honor your people, so they will honor me.

10. परदेशी लोग तेरी शहरपनाह को उठाएंगे, और उनके राजा तेरी सेवा टहल करेंगे; क्योंकि मैं ने क्रोध में आकर तुझे दु:ख दिया था, परन्तु अब तुझ से प्रसन्न होकर तुझ पर दया की है।

10. Jerusalem, your city walls will be rebuilt by foreigners; their rulers will become your slaves. I punished you in my anger; now I will be kind and treat you with mercy.

11. तेरे फाटक सदैव खुले रहेंगे; दिन और रात वे बन्द न किए जाएंगे जिस से अन्यजातियों की धन- सम्पत्ति और उनके राजा बंधुए होकर तेरे पास पहुंचाए जाएं।

11. Your gates will be open day and night to let the rulers of nations lead their people to you with all their treasures.

12. क्योंकि जो जाति और राज्य के लोग तेरी सेवा न करें वे नष्ट हो जाएंगे; हां ऐसी जातियां पूरी रीति से सत्यानाश हो जाएंगी।

12. Any nation or kingdom that refuses to serve you will be wiped out.

13. लबानोन का विभव अर्थात् सनौबर और देवदार और सीधे सनौबर के पेड़ एक सािा तेरे पास आएंगे कि मेरे पवित्रास्थान को सुशोभित करें; और मैं अपने चरणों के स्थान को महिमा दूंगा।

13. Wood from Lebanon's best trees will be brought to you-- the pines, the firs, and the cypress trees. It will be used in my temple to make beautiful the place where I rest my feet.

14. तेरे दु:ख देनेवालों की सन्तान तेरे पास सिर झुकाए हुए आंएगें; और जिन्हों ने तेरा तिरस्कार किया सब तेरे पांवों पर गिरकर दण्डवत् करेंगे; वे तेरा नाम यहोवा का नगर, इस्राएल के पवित्रा का सिरयोन रखेंगे।।

14. The descendants of enemies who hated and mistreated you will kneel at your feet. They will say, 'You are Zion, the city of the LORD, the holy God of Israel.'

15. तू जो त्यागी गई और घृणित ठहरी, यहां तक कि कोई तुझ में से होकर नहीं जाता था, इसकी सन्ती मैं तुझे सदा के घमण्ड का और पीढ़ी पीढ़ी के हर्ष का कारण ठहराऊंगा।

15. You were hated and deserted, rejected by everyone. But I will make you beautiful, a city to be proud of for all time to come.

16. तू अन्यजातियों का दूध पी लेगी, तू राजाओं की छातियां चूसेगी; और तू जान लेगी कि मैं याहवेा तेरा उद्धारकर्त्ता और तेरा छुड़ानेवाला, याकूब का सर्वशक्तिमान हूं।।

16. You will drain the wealth of kings and foreign nations. You will know that I, the mighty LORD God of Israel, have saved and rescued you.

17. मैं पीतल की सन्ती लोहा, लोहे की सन्ती चान्दी, लकड़ी की सन्ती पीतल और पत्थर की सन्ती लोहा लाऊंगा। मैं तेरे हाकिमों को मेल- मिलाप और चौधरियों को धार्मिकता ठहराऊंगा।

17. I will bring bronze and iron in place of wood and stone; in place of bronze and iron, I will bring gold and silver. I will appoint peace and justice as your rulers and leaders.

18. तेरे देश में फिर कभी उपद्रव और तेरे सिवानों के भीतर उत्पात वा अन्धेर की चर्चा न सुनाई पड़ेगी; परन्तु तू अपनी शहरपनाह का नाम उद्धार और अपने फाटकों का नाम यश रखेगी।

18. Violence, destruction, and ruin will never again be heard of within your borders. 'Victory' will be the name you give to your walls; 'Praise' will be the name you give to your gates.

19. फिर दिन को सूर्य तेरा उजियाला न होगा, न चान्दनी के लिये चन्द्रमा परन्तु यहोवा तेरे लिये सदा का उजियाला और तेरा परमेश्वर तेरी शोभा ठहरेगा।

19. You won't need the light of the sun or the moon. I, the LORD your God, will be your eternal light and bring you honor.

20. तेरा सूर्य फिर कभी अस्त न होगा और न तेरे चन्द्रमा की ज्योति मलिन होगी; क्योंकि यहोवा तेरी सदैव की ज्योति होगा और तरे विलाप के दिन समाप्त हो जाएंगे।

20. Your sun will never set or your moon go down. I, the LORD, will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will come to an end.

21. और तेरे लोग सब के सब धर्मी होंगे; वे सर्वदा देश के अधिकारी रहेंगे, वे मेरे लगाए हुए पौधे और मेरे हाथों का काम ठहरेंगे, जिस से मेरी महिमा प्रगट हो।
2 पतरस 3:13

21. Your people will live right and always own the land; they are the trees I planted to bring praise to me.

22. छोटे से छोटा एक हजार हो जाएगा और सब से दुर्बल एक सामर्थी जाति बन जाएगा। मैं यहोवा हूं; ठीक समय पर यह सब कुछ शीघ्रता से पूरा करूंगा।।

22. Even the smallest family will be a powerful nation. I am the LORD, and when the time comes, I will quickly do all this.
