1. दर्शन की तराई के विषय में भारी वचन। तुम्हें क्या हुआ कि तुम सब के सब छतों पर चढ़ गए हो,

1. The heavy burthen upon the valley of visions. What hast thou there to do, that thou climbest up in to the house top,

2. हे कोलाहल और ऊधम से भरी प्रसन्न नगरी? तुझ में जो मारे गए हैं वे न तो तलवार से और न लड़ाई में मारे गए हैं।

2. O thou city of miracles, seditious and willful: seeing, thy slain men are neither killed with sword, nor dead in battle?

3. तेरे सब न्यायी एक संग भाग गए और धनुर्धारियों से बान्धे गए हैं। और तेरे जितने शेष पाए गए वे एक संग बान्धे गए, वे दूर भागे थे।

3. For all thy Captains gat them to their horses from the ordinance, yea they are all together ridden away, and fled far off.

4. इस कारण मैं ने कहा, मेरी ओर से मुंह फेर लो कि मैं बिलक बिलककर रोऊं; मेरे नगर सत्यनाश होने के शोक में मुझे शान्ति देने का यत्न मत करो।।

4. When I perceived that, I said: away from me, that I may weep bitterly. Take no labour for to comfort me, as touching the destruction of my people.

5. क्योंकि सेनाओं के प्रभु यहोवा का ठहराया हुआ दिन होगा, जब दर्शन की तराई में कोलाहल और रौंदा जाना और बेचैनी होगी; शहरपनाह में सुरंग लगाई जाएगी और दोहाई का शब्द पहाड़ों तक पहुंचेगा।

5. For this is the day of the LORD of Hosts, where in he will plague, tread down, and weed out the valley of visions, and break down the walls, with such a crack, that it shall give a sound in the mountains.

6. और एलाम पैदलों के दल और सवारों समेत तर्कश बान्धे हुए है, और कीर ढाल खोले हुए है।

6. I saw the Elamites take the quivers to cart and to horse, and that the walls were bare from harness.

7. तेरी उत्तम उत्तम तराइयां रथों से भरी हुई होंगी और सवार फाटक के साम्हने पांति बान्धेंगे। उस ने यहूदा का घूंघट खोल दिया है।

7. Thy goodly valleys were full of chariots, and the horse men made them soon to besiege the gates.

8. उस दिन तू ने वन नाम भवन के अस्त्रा- शस्त्रा का स्मरण किया,

8. Then was the covering of Judah put from thence, and then was seen the siege of the timber house.

9. और तू ने दाऊदपुर की शहरपनाह की दरारों को देखा कि वे बहुत हैं, और तू ने निचले पोखरे के जल को इकट्ठा किया।

9. There shall ye see the rifts in the walls of the city of David, whereof there shall be many. Ye shall gather together the waters of the lower pool,

10. और यरूशलेम के घरों को गिनकर शहरपनाह के दृढ़ करने के लिये घरों को ढा दिया।

10. and tell the houses of Jerusalem, and break of some of them to keep the walls.

11. तू ने दोनों भीतों के बीच पुराने पोखरे के जल के लिये एक कुंड खोदा। परन्तु तू ने उसके कर्ता को स्मरण नहीं किया, जिस ने प्राचीनकाल से उसको ठहरा रखा था, और न उसकी ओर तू ने दृष्टि की।।

11. And ye shall make a pit betwixt the twain walls of the water of the old pool, and nothing regard him, that took it in hand, and made it.

12. उस समय सेनाओं के प्रभु यहोवा ने रोने- पीटने, सिर मुंडाने और टाट पहिनने के लिये कहा था;

12. And at the same time shall the LORD of Hosts call men to weeping, mourning, to baldness and a putting on of sackcloth.

13. परन्तु क्या देखा कि हर्ष और आनन्द मनाया जा रहा है, गाय- बैल का घात और भेड़- बकरी का वध किया जा रहा है, मांस खाया और दाखमधु पीया जा रहा है। और कहते हैं, आओ खाएं- पीएं, क्योंकि कल तो हमें मरना है।
1 कुरिन्थियों 15:32

13. But they to fulfill their lust and willfulness, slaughter oxen: they kill sheep, they eat costly meat, and drink wine, let us eat and drink, to morrow we shall die.

14. सेनाओं के यहोवा ने मेरे कान में कहा और अपने मन की बात प्रगट की, निश्चय तुम लोगों के इस अधर्म का कुछ भी प्रायश्चित्त तुम्हारी मृत्यु तक न हो सकेगा, सेनाओं के प्रभु यहोवा का यही कहना है।

14. Nevertheless, when the LORD of Hosts heard of it, he said: yea, if this wickedness of yours shall be remitted, ye must die for it. This hath the Lord GOD(LORDE God) of Hosts spoken.

15. सेनाओं का प्रभु यहोवा यों कहता है, शेबना नाम उस भण्डारी के पास जो राजघराने के काम पर नियुक्त है जाकर कह, यहां तू क्या करता है?

15. Thus sayeth the Lord GOD(LORDE God) of Hosts: Go in to the treasury unto Sobna the governor, and say to him:

16. और यहां तेरा कौन है कि तू ने अपनी कबर यहां खुदवाई है? तू अपनी कबर ऊंचे स्थान में खुदवाता और अपने रहने का स्थान चट्टान में खुदवाता है?

16. What hast thou here to do? and from whence comest thou? that thou hast made thee a grave here? For he had caused a costly tomb of stone to be made for himself, and a place to lie in to be hewn out of a rock.

17. देख, यहोवा तुझ को बड़ी शक्ति से पकड़कर बहुत दूर फेंक देगा।

17. Behold, the LORD shall cast thee out by violence, he will deck thee of another fashion, and put upon thee a strange cloth.

18. वह तुझे मरोड़कर गेन्द की नाई लम्बे चौड़े देश में फेंक देगा; हे अपने स्वामी के घराने को लज्जित करनेवाले वहां तू मरेगा और तेरे विभव के रथ वहीं रह जाएंगे।

18. He shall carry thee into a far country, like a ball with his hands. There shalt thou die, there shall the pomp of thy chariots have an end: thou villain of the house of thy lord:

19. मैं तुझ को तेरे स्थान पर से ढकेल दूंगा, और तू अपने पद से उतार दिया जायेगा।

19. I will shoot(shute) thee out of thine office, and put thee from thine estate.

20. उस समय मैं हिल्कियाह के पुत्रा अपने दास एल्याकीम को बुलाकर, उसे तेरा अंगरखा पहनाऊंगा,

20. After this will I call my servant Eliakim the son of Helkiah,

21. और उसकी कमर में तेरी पेटी कसकर बान्धूंगा, और तेरी प्रभुता उसके हाथ में दूंगा। और वह यरूशलेम के रहनेवालों और यहूदा के घराने का पिता ठहरेगा।

21. and array him with thy coat, and gird him with thy girdle, and I will give thy power in to his hand. He shall be a father of the citizens of Jerusalem, and of the kindred of Judah.

22. और मैं दाऊद के घराने की कुंजी उसके कंधे पर रखूंगा, और वह खोलेगा और कोई बन्द न कर सकेगा; वह बन्द करेगा और कोई खोल न सकेगा।
प्रकाशितवाक्य 3:7

22. I will also lay the key of David's house upon his shoulders, and if he open, no man shall shut: and if he do shut, no man shall open.

23. और मैं उसको दृढ़ स्थान में खूंटी की नाईं गाडूंगा, और वह अपने पिता के घराने के लिये विभव का कारण होगा।

23. I will fasten him to a nail in the place of the most high(hie) faithfulness, and he shall be upon the glorious throne of his father's house.

24. और उसके पिता से घराने का सारा विभव, वंश और सन्तान, सब छोटे- छोटे पात्रा, क्या कटोरे क्या सुराहियां, सब उस पर टांगी जाएंगी।

24. They shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, of the children and children's children, all apparel small and great, all instruments of measure and music.

25. सेनाओं के यहोवा की यह वाणी है कि उस समय वह खूंटी जो दृढ़ स्थान में गाड़ी गई थी, वह ढीली हो जाएगी, और काटकर गिराई जाएगी; और उस का बोझ गिर जाएगा, क्योंकि यहोवा ने यह कहा है।

25. This shall come to pass (sayeth the LORD of Hosts) when the nail that is fastened to the place of the highest faithfulness, shall be plucked(plukt) off. And when the weight that hangeth upon it, shall fall, be broken, and hewn in pieces. For the LORD himself hath said it.
