2. प्रार्थना में लगे रहो, और धन्यवाद के साथ उस में जागृत रहो।

2. Be ye bisi in preier, and wake in it, in doynge of thankyngis;

3. और इस के साथ ही साथ हमारे लिये भी प्रार्थना करते रहो, कि परमेश्वर हमारे लिये वचन सुनाने का ऐसा द्वार खोल दे, कि हम मसीह के उस भेद का वर्णन कर सकें जिस के कारण मैं कैद में हूं।

3. and preie ech for othere, and for vs, that God opene to vs the dore of word, to speke the misterie of Crist;

4. और उसे ऐसा प्रगट करूं, जैसा मुझे करना उचित है।

5. अवसर को बहुमूल्य समझकर बाहरवालों के साथ बुद्धिमानी से बर्ताव करो।

6. तुम्हारा वचन सदा अनुग्रह सहित और सलोना हो, कि तुम्हें हर मनुष्य को उचित रीति से उत्तर देना आ जाए।

7. प्रिय भाई और विश्वासयोग्य सेवक, तुखिकुस जो प्रभु में मेरा सहकर्मी है, मेरी सब बातें तुम्हें बता देगा।

7. Titicus, most dere brother, and feithful mynyster, and my felowe in the Lord, schal make alle thingis knowun to you, that ben aboute me.

8. उसे मैं ने इसलिये तुम्हारे पास भेजा है, कि तुम्हें हमारी दशा मालूम हो जाए और वह तुम्हारे हृदयों को शान्ति दे।

11. और यीशु जो यूस्तुस कहलाता है, तुम्हें नमस्कार कहते हैं। खतना किए हुए लोगों में से केवल ये ही परमेश्वर के राज्य के लिये मेरे सहकर्मी और मेरी शान्ति का कारण रहे हैं।

11. and Jhesus, that is seid Just; whiche ben of circumcisioun; thei aloone ben myn helperis in the kingdom of God, that weren to me in solace.

12. इपफ्रास जो तुम में से है, और मसीह यीशु का दास है, तुम से नमस्कार कहता है और सदा तुम्हारे लिये प्रार्थनाओं में प्रयत्न करता है, ताकि तुम सिद्ध होकर पूर्ण विश्वास के साथ परमेश्वर की इच्छा पर स्थिर रहो।

13. मैं उसका गवाह हूं, कि वह तुम्हारे लिये और लौदीकिया और हियरापुलिसवालों के लिये बड़ा यत्न करता रहता है।

13. And Y bere witnessyng to hym, that he hath myche trauel for you, and for hem that ben at Loadice, and that ben at Ierapolim.

14. प्रिय वैद्य लूका और देमास का तुम्हें नमस्कार।

15. लौदीकिया के भाइयों को और तुमफास और उन के घर की कलीसिया को नमस्कार कहना।

17. फिर अर्खिप्पुस से कहना कि जो सेवा प्रभु में तुझे सौंपी गई है, उसे सावधानी के साथ पूरी करना।।

17. And seie ye to Archippus, Se the mynysterie, that thou hast takun in the Lord, that thou fille it.

18. मुझ पौलुस का अपने हाथ से लिखा हुआ नमस्कार। मेरी जंजीरों को स्मरण रखना; तुम पर अनुग्रह होता रहे। आमीन।।
