1. फिर इस्राएल के वृद्ध लोगों समेत मूसा ने प्रजा के लोगों को यह आज्ञा दी, कि जितनी आज्ञाएं मैं आज तुम्हें सुनाता हूं उन सब को मानना।

1. And Moses with ye Elders of Israel, commaunded the people, & sayde: Kepe all the commaundementes which I commaunde you this daye.

2. और जब तुम यरदन पार होके उस देश में पहुंचो, जो तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तुझे देता है, तब बड़े बड़े पत्थर खड़े कर लेना, और उन पर चूना पोतना;

2. And what time as ye go ouer Iordane, in to the londe yt ye LORDE thy God shal geue the, thou shalt set vp greate stones, and playster them with playster,

3. और पार होने के बाद उन पर इस व्यवस्था के सारे वचनों को लिखना, इसलिये कि जो देश तेरे पूर्वजों का परमेश्वर यहोवा अपने वचन के अनुसार तुझे देता है, और जिस में दूध और मधु की धाराएं बहती हैं, उस देश में तू जाने पाए।

3. and wryte vpon them all the wordes of this lawe: (whan thou art come ouer) yt thou mayest come in to the londe, which the LORDE thy God shall geue the, a londe yt floweth with milke and hony, as ye LORDE God of thy fathers hath promysed the.

4. फिर जिन पत्थरों के विषय में मैं ने आज आज्ञा दी है, उन्हें तुम यरदन के पार होकर एबाल पहाड़ पर खड़ा करना, और उन पर चूना पोतना।

4. Now whan ye go ouer Iordane, ye shall set vp these stones (wherof I comaunde you this daye) vpon mount Eball, and playster them with playster:

5. और वहीं अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा के लिये पत्थरों की एक वेदी बनाना, उन पर कोई औजार न चलाना।

5. and there shalt thou buylde vnto the LORDE thy God an altare of stone, whervpon thou shalt lifte no yron.

6. अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की वेदी अनगढ़े पत्थरों की बनाकर उन पर उसके लिये होमबलि चढ़ाना;

6. Of whole stones shalt thou builde this altare vnto the LORDE thy God, and offre burntofferinges theron vnto the LORDE thy God:

7. और वहीं मेलबलि भी चढ़ाकर भोजन करना, और अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा के सम्मुख आनन्द करना।

7. and thou shalt offre healthofferinges, and eate there, and reioyse before the LORDE thy God:

8. और उन पत्थरों पर इस व्यवस्था के सब वचनों को शुद्ध रीति से लिख देना।।

8. and vpon the stones thou shalt wryte all the wordes of this lawe manyfestly and well.

9. फिर मूसा और लेवीय याजकों ने सब इस्राएलियों से यह भी कहा, कि हे इस्राएल, चुप रहकर सुन; आज के दिन तू अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की प्रजा हो गया है।

9. And Moses with the prestes and Leuites spake vnto all Israel, and sayde: Take hede and heare O Israel: This daye art thou become the people of the LORDE thy God,

10. इसलिये अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की बात मानना, और उसकी जो जो आज्ञा और विधि मैं आज तुझे सुनाता हूं उनका पालन करना।

10. that thou mayest be obedient vnto the voyce of the LORDE thy God, and do acordinge vnto all his commaundementes and ordinaunces, which I comaunde the this daye.

11. फिर उसी दिन मूसा ने प्रजा के लोगों को यह आज्ञा दी,

11. And Moses charged the people the same daye, and sayde:

12. कि जब तुम यरदन पार हो जाओ तब शिमौन, लेवी, यहूदा, इस्साकार, युसुफ, और बिन्यामीन, ये गिरिज्जीम पहाड़ पर खडे होकर आशीर्वाद सुनाएं।

12. These shal stonde vpon mount Grisim to blesse the people, whan ye are gone ouer Iordane: Simeon, Leui, Iuda, Isachar, Ioseph, and Ben Iamin.

13. और रूबेन, गाद, आशेर, जबूलून, दान, और नप्ताली, ये एबाल पहाड़ पर खड़े होके शाप सुनाएं।

13. And these shal stonde vpon mount Eball to curse: Ruben, Gad, Asser, Zabulon, Dan & Nephtali.

14. तब लेवीय लोग सब इस्राएली पुरूषों से पुकारके कहें,

14. And the Leuites shal begynne, and saye vnto euery man of Israel, wt a loude voyce:

15. कि शापित हो वह मनुष्य जो कोई मूर्त्ति कारीगर से खुदवाकर वा ढलवाकर निराले स्थान में स्थापन करे, क्योंकि इस से यहोवा को घृणा लगती है। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

15. Cursed be he, that maketh eny carued Idoll or molten ymage (an abhominacion of the LORDE, a worke of the handes of ye craftesman) and putteth it in a secrete place. And all the people shal answere and saye, Amen.

16. शापित हो वह जो अपने पिता वा माता को तुच्छ जाने। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

16. Cursed be he, that curseth his father and mother. And all the people shall saye, Amen.

17. शापित हो वह जो किसी दूसरे के सिवाने को हटाए। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

17. Cursed be he, yt remoueth his neghbours mark. And all the people shal saye, Amen.

18. शापित हो वह जो अन्धे को मार्ग से भटका दे। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

18. Cursed be he, that maketh a blynde man go out of his waye. And all the people shal saye, Amen.

19. शापित हो वह जो परेदशी, अनाथ, वा विधवा का न्याय बिगाड़े। तब सब लोग कहें आमीन।।

19. Cursed be he, that wresteth ye righte of ye straunger, of the fatherlesse, & wedowe. And all the people shal saye, Amen.

20. शापित हो वह जो अपनी सौतेली माता से कुकर्म करे, क्योंकि वह अपने पिता का ओढ़ना उघारता है। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

20. Cursed be he, that lyeth with his fathers wife, to vncouer his fathers couerynge. And all the people shal saye, Amen.

21. शापित हो वह जो किसी प्रकार के पशु से कुकर्म करे। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

21. Cursed be he, yt lyeth wt eny maner beest. And all the people shal saye, Amen.

22. शापित हो वह जो अपनी बहिन, चाहे सगी हो चाहे सौतेली, उस से कुकर्म करे। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

22. Cursed be he, yt lyeth wt his sister, which is the doughter of his father or of his mother. And all the people shal saye, Amen.

23. शापित हो वह जो अपनी सास के संग कुकर्म करे। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

23. Cursed be he, yt lyeth with his mother in lawe. And all the people shal saye, Amen.

24. शापित हो वह जो किसी को छिपकर मारे। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

24. Cursed be he that slayeth his neghboure secretly. And all the people shal saye, Amen.

25. शापित हो वह जो निर्दोष जन के मार डालने के लिये धन ले। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

25. Cursed be he, that receaueth giftes to slaye the soule of innocent bloude. And all the people shal saye, Amen.

26. शापित हो वह जो इस व्यवस्था के वचनों को मानकर पूरा न करे। तब सब लोग कहें, आमीन।।

26. Cursed be he, that contynueth not in all ye wordes of this lawe, to do them. And all ye people shal saye, Amen.
