1. सात सात वर्ष बीतने पर तुम छुटकारा दिया करना,

1. In the seueth yeare shalt thou make a Fre yeare. This is ye maner of the Fre yeare.

2. अर्थात् जिस किसी ऋण देनेवाले ने अपने पड़ोसी को कुछ उधार दिया हो, तो वह उसे छोड़ दे; और अपने पड़ोसी वा भाई से उसको बरबस न भरवा ले, क्योंकि यहोवा के नाम से इस छुटकारे का प्रचार हुआ है।

2. Who so euer ledeth oughte with his hande vnto his neghboure, shal not requyre it of his neghboure or his brother: for it is called the Fre yeare vnto the LORDE.

3. परदेशी मनुष्य से तू उसे बरबस भरवा सकता है, परन्तु जो कुछ तेरे भाई के पास तेरा हो उसको तू बिना भरवाए छोड़ देना।

3. Of a strauger mayest thou requyre it: but vnto him that is thy brother, shalt thou remytte it.

4. तेरे बीच कोई दरिद्र न रहेगा, क्योंकि जिस देश को तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तेरा भाग करके तुझे देता है, कि तू उसका अधिकारी हो, उस में वह तुझे बहुत ही आशीष देगा।

4. There shall be no begger amoge you: for the LORDE shal blesse ye in the lode which the LORDE yi God shal geue ye to inheritaunce to take it in possession,

5. इतना अवश्य है कि तू अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की बात चित्त लगाकर सुने, और इन सारी आज्ञाओं के मानने में जो मैं आज तुझे सुनाता हूं चौकसी करे।

5. onely yt thou herke vnto the voyce of the LORDE yi God, & kepe all these comaundemetes which I comaunde the this daye,

6. तब तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा अपने वचन के अनुसार तुझे आशीष देगा, परन्तु तुझे उधार लेना न पड़ेगा; और तू बहुत जातियों पर प्रभुता करेगा, परन्तु वे तेरे ऊपर प्रभुता न करने पाएंगी।।

6. that thou maiest do therafter. For the LORDE yi God shal blesse the, as he hath promysed the. The shalt thou lende vnto many nacions, & shalt borowe of noman. Thou shalt raigne ouer many nacions, & noman shal reigne ouer ye.

7. जो देश तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तुझे देता है उसके किसी फाटक के भीतर यदि तेरे भाइयों में से कोई तेरे पास द्ररिद्र हो, तो अपने उस दरिद्र भाई के लिये न तो अपना हृदय कठोर करना, और न अपनी मुट्ठी कड़ी करना;

7. Whan one of thy brethre is waxed poore in eny cite within thy londe, which ye LORDE yi God shal geue ye, thou shalt not harden thine hert, ner withdrawe thine hande from thy poore brother:

8. जिस वस्तु की घटी उसको हो, उसका जितना प्रयोजन हो उतना अवश्य अपना हाथ ढीला करके उसको उधार देना।

8. but shalt open thine hande vnto him, and lende him, acordinge as he hath nede.

9. सचेत रह कि तेरे मन में ऐसी अधम चिन्ता न समाए, कि सातवां वर्ष जो छुटकारे का वर्ष है वह निकट है, और अपनी दृष्टि तू अपने उस दरिद्र भाई की ओर से क्रूर करके उसे कुछ न दे, तो यह तेरे लिये पाप ठहरेगा।

9. Bewarre, that there be not a poynte of Belial in thine hert, that thou woldest saye: The seuenth yeare, the yeare of Fredome is at honde. For yf thou lokest not fredly vpo thy poore brother, and geuest him nothinge then shall he crye ouer the vnto the LORDE, and it shall be synne vnto the:

10. तू उसको अवश्य देना, और उसे देते समय तेरे मन को बुरा न लगे; क्योकि इसी बात के कारण तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तेरे सब कामों में जिन में तू अपना हाथ लगाएगा तुझे आशीष देगा।

10. But thou shalt geue him, and let it not greue thine hert that thou geuest him. For because of it, shall the LORDE thy God blesse the in all thy workes, and in all that thou puttest thine hande vnto.

11. तेरे देश में दरिद्र तो सदा पाए जाएंगे, इसलिये मैं तुझे यह आज्ञा देता हूं कि तू अपने देश में अपने दीन- दरिद्र भाइयों को अपना हाथ ढीला करके अवश्य दान देना।।

11. The londe shal neuer be without poore, therfore commaunde I the and saye, that thou open thine hande vnto thy brother, which is neady and poore in thy londe.

12. यदि तेरा कोई भाईबन्धु, अर्थात् कोई इब्री वा इब्रिन, तेरे हाथ बिके, और वह छ: वर्ष तेरी सेवा कर चुके, तो सातवे वर्ष उसको अपने पास से स्वतंत्रा करके जाने देना।

12. Yf thy brother an Hebrue or Hebruesse be solde vnto the, he shal serue the sixe yeare, in the seuenth yeare shalt thou let him go Fre.

13. और जब तू उसको स्वतंत्रा करके अपने पास से जाने दे तब उसे छूछे हाथ न जाने देना;

13. And wha thou deliuerest him fre, thou shalt not let him go from the emptye,

14. वरन अपनी भेड़- बकरियों, और खलिहान, और दाखमधु के कुण्ड में से बहुतायत से देना; तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने तुझे जैसी आशीष दी हो उसी के अनुसार उसे देना।

14. but shalt geue him of thy shepe, of thy corne, and of yi wyne, so that thou geue him of that, which the LORDE thy God hath blessed the withall.

15. और इस बात को स्मरण रखना कि तू भी मि देश में दास था, और तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने तुझे छुड़ा लिया; इस कारण मैं आज तुझे यह आज्ञा सुनाता हूं।

15. And remembre that thou also wast a seruaunte in the lode of Egipte, and how that the LORDE thy God delyuered the, therfore commaunde I the this thinge to daye.

16. और यदि वह तुझ से ओर तेरे घराने से प्रेम रखता है, और तेरे संग आनन्द से रहता हो, और इस कारण तुझ से कहने लगे, कि मैं तेरे पास से न जाऊंगा;
इफिसियों 6:2-3

16. But yf he saye vnto the: I wyll not go out awaye from the, for I loue ye and thine house (in so moch as he is well at ease with the)

17. तो सुतारी लेकर उसका कान किवाड़ पर लगाकर छेदना, तब वह सदा तेरा दास बना रहेगा। और अपनी दासी से भी ऐसा ही करना।

17. then take a botkyn, and bore him thorow his eare to the dore, and let him be thy seruaunt for euer. And with thy mayde shalt thou do likewyse.

18. जब तू उसको अपने पास से स्वतंत्रा करके जाने दे, तब उसे छोड़ देना तुझ को कठिन न जान पड़े; क्योंकि उस ने छ: वर्ष दो मजदूरों के बराबर तेरी सेवा की है। और तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तेरे सारे कामों में तुझ को आशीष देगा।।

18. And let it not seme greuous vnto the, to let him go fre from the (for he hath serued the sixe yeares as a dubble hyred seruaunt) then shall the LORDE thy God blesse the in all that thou doest.

19. तेरी गायों और भेड़- बकरियों के जितने पहिलौठे नर हों उन सभों को अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा के लिये पवित्रा रखना; अपनी गायों के पहिलौठों से कोई काम न लेना, और न अपनी भेड़- बकरियों के पहिलौठों का ऊन कतरना।

19. All the first borne that come of thine oxen and shepe, yt are males, shalt thou halowe vnto the LORDE thy God. Thou shalt not plowe with the firstborne of thine oxe, and shalt not clyppe the firstborne of thy shepe:

20. उस स्थान पर जो तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा चुन लेगा तू यहोवा के साम्हने अपने अपने धराने समेत प्रति वर्ष उसका मांस खाना।

20. Before the LORDE thy God shalt thou eate the euery yeare, in the place that the LORDE choseth, thou and thine housholde.

21. परन्तु यदि उस में किसी प्रकार का दोष हो, अर्थात् वह लंगड़ा वा अन्धा हो, वा उस में किसी और ही प्रकार की बुराई का दोष हो, तो उसे अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा के लिये बलि न करना।

21. But yf it haue a deformyte, so that it is lame or blynde, or hath eny other euell blemysh, thou shalt not offre it vnto ye LORDE thy God,

22. उसको अपने फाटकों के भीतर खाना; शुद्ध और अशुद्ध दोनों प्रकार के मनुष्य जैसे चिकारे और हरिण का मांस खाते हैं वैसे ही उसका भी खा सकेंगे।

22. but shalt eate it within thine awne gates) whether thou be vncleane or cleane) euen as the Roo and Hert.

23. परन्तु उसका लोहू न खाना; उसे जल की नाई भूमि पर उंडेल देना।।

23. Onely se that thou eate not of the bloude therof, but poure it out as water vpon the grounde.
