1. जब सब्त का दिन बीत गया, तो मरियम मगदलीनी और याकूब की माता मरियम और शलोमी ने सुगन्धित वस्तुएं मोल ली, कि आकर उस पर मलें।

1. And when the Sabbath day was past, Mary Magdalen,(Sabbath was past) and Mary Jacobi, and Salome, bought ointments,(odors,)(spices) that they might come and anoint him.

2. और सप्ताह के पहिले दिन बड़ी भोर, जब सूरज निकला ही था, वे कब्र पर आईं।

2. And early in the morning the next day after the Sabbath day,(upon a day [or first] of the Sabbaths) they came unto the sepulchre, when the sun was risen.

3. और आपस में कहती थीं, कि हमारे लिये कब्र के द्वार पर से पत्थर कौन लुढ़ाएगा?

3. And they said one to another: who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

4. जब उन्हों ने आंख उठाई, तो देखा कि पत्थर लुढ़का हुआ है! क्योंकि वह बहुत ही बड़ा था।

4. And when they beheld it,(looked) they saw how the stone was rolled away. For it was a very great one,

5. और कब्र के भीतर जाकर, उन्हों ने एक जवान को श्वेत वस्त्रा पहिने हुए दहिनी ओर बैठे देखा, और बहुत चकित हुई।

5. and they went into the sepulchre, and saw a young man, sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment, and they were abashed.

6. उस ने उन से कहा, चकित मत हो, तुम यीशु नासरी को, जो क्रूस पर चढ़ाया गया था, ढूंढ़ती हो: वह जी उठा है; यहां नहीं है; देखो, यही वह स्थान है, जहां उन्हों ने उसे रखा था।

6. (And) He said unto them, be not afraid, ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified. He is risen, he is not here. Behold the place, where they put him.

7. परन्तु तुम जाओ, और उसके चेलों और पतरस से कहो, कि वह तुम से पहिले गलील को जाएगा; जैसा उस ने तुम से कहा था, तुम वही उसे देखोगे।

7. But go your way, and tell his disciples, and namely Peter, that he is gone(he will go) before you into Galilee, there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

8. और वे निकलकर कब्र से भाग गईं; क्योंकि कपकपी और घबराहट उन पर छा गई थीं और उन्हों ने किसी से कुछ न कहा, क्योंकि डरती थीं।।

8. And they went out quickly and fled from the sepulchre. For they trembled and were amazed. Neither said they anything to any man, for they were afraid.

9. सप्ताह के पहिले दिन भोर होते ही वह जी उठ कर पहिले पहिल मरियम मगदलीनी को जिस में से उस ने सात दुष्टात्माएं निकाली थीं, दिखाई दिया।

9. When Jesus was risen the morrow after the Sabbath day,(risen up early upon the first day of the Sabbaths) he appeared first to Mary Magdalen, out of whom he cast seven devils.

10. उस ने जाकर उसके साथियों को जो शोक में डूबे हुए थे और रो रहे थे, समाचार दिया।

10. And she went, and told them that were with him, as they mourned and wept.

11. और उन्हों ने यह सुनकर की वह जीवित है, और उस ने उसे देखा है प्रतीति न की।।

11. And when(though) they heard, that he was alive, and (he) had appeared to her: they believed it not.

12. इस के बाद वह दूसरे रूप में उन में से दो को जब वे गांव की ओर जा रहे थे, दिखाई दिया।

12. After that, he appeared unto two of them in a strange figure, as he(they) walked, and went into the country.

13. उन्हों ने भी जाकर औरों को समाचार दिया, परन्तु उन्हों ने उन की भी प्रतीति न की।।

13. And they went, and told it to the remnant. And they believed them neither.

15. और उस ने उन से कहा, तुम सारे जगत में जाकर सारी सृष्टि के लोगों को सुसमाचार प्रचार करो।

15. And he said unto them: Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel(glad tidings) to all creatures:

16. जो विश्वास करे और बपतिस्मा ले उसी का उद्धार होगा, परन्तु जो विश्वास ने करेगा वह दोषी ठहराया जाएगा।

16. Whosoever(He that) believeth, and is baptised, shall be safe:(saved.) And whosoever(But he) that believeth not, shall be damned.

17. और विश्वास करनेवालों में ये चिन्ह होंगे कि वे मेरे नाम से दुष्टात्माओं को निकालेंगे।

17. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils, and shall speak with new tongues,

18. नई नई भाषा बोलेंगे, सांपों को उठा लेंगे, और यदि वे नाशक वस्तु भी पी जांए तौभी उन की कुछ हानि न होगी, वे बीमारों पर हाथ रखेंगे, और वे चंगे हो जाएंगे।

18. and shall kill serpents. And if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay their hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19. निदान प्रभु यीशु उन से बातें करने के बाद स्वर्ग पर उठा लिया गया, और परमेश्वर की दहिनी ओर बैठ गया।

19. So then when the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received into heaven, and sat (him down) on the right hand of God.

20. और उन्हों ने निकलकर हर जगह प्रचार किया, और प्रभु उन के साथ काम करता रहा, और उन चिन्हों के द्वारा जो साथ साथ होते थे वचन को, दृढ़ करता रहा। आमीन।।

20. And they went forth, and preached everywhere. And the Lord wrought with them; And confirmed their preaching (the word) with miracles that followed. [The end of the Gospell off S. Mark.]
