1. तुम अपने लिये मूरतें न बनाना, और न कोई खुदी हुई मूर्ति वा लाट अपने लिये खड़ी करना, और न अपने देश में दण्डवत् करने के लिये नक्काशीदार पत्थर स्थापन करना; क्योंकि मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं।

1. Ye shall make you no Idols ner ymage, and ye shal reare you vp no piler, ner set vp eny markstone in youre londe, to bowe youre selues therto. For I am the LORDE youre God.

2. तुम मेरे विश्रामदिनों का पालन करना और मेरे पवित्रास्थान का भय मानना; मैं यहोवा हूं।।

2. Kepe my Sabbathes, and stonde in awe of my Sanctuary. I am the LORDE.

3. यदि तुम मेरी विधियों पर चलो और मेरी आज्ञाओं को मानकर उनका पालन करो,

3. Yf ye wyll walke now in my statutes, and kepe my commaundementes and do them,

4. तो मैं तुम्हारे लिये समय समय पर मेंह बरसाऊंगा, तथा भूमि अपनी उपज उपजाएगी, और मैदान के वृक्ष अपने अपने फल दिया करेंगे;

4. the wyl I geue you rayne in due season, and ye londe shal geue hir increase, and the trees of ye felde shal brynge forth their frute.

5. यहां तक कि तुम दाख तोड़ने के समय भी दावनी करते रहोगे, और बोने के समय भी भर पेट दाख तोड़ते रहोगे, और तुम मनमानी रोटी खाया करोगे, और अपने देश में निश्चिन्त बसे रहोगे।

5. And the thresshinge tyme shall reache vnto the wyne haruest, and the wyne haruest shal reache vnto the sowynge tyme. And ye shall eate yor bred in plenteousnes, and shal dwell safe in youre londe.

6. और मैं तुम्हारे देश में सुख चैन दूंगा, और तुम सोओगे और तुम्हारा कोई डरानेवाला न हो; और मैं उस देश में दुष्ट जन्तुओं को न रहने दूंगा, और तलवार तुम्हारे देश में न चलेगी।

6. I wil geue peace in youre londe, so that ye shall slepe, and no man shall make you afrayed. I wyl ryd euell beestes out of youre londe, and there shall no swerde go thorow youre londe.

7. और तुम अपने शत्रुओं को मार भगा दोगे, और वे तुम्हारी तलवार से मारे जाएंगे।

7. Ye shal chace youre enemies, & they shal fall into ye swerde before you.

8. और तुम में से पांच मनुष्य सौ को और सौ मनुष्य दस हजार को खदेड़ेंगे; और तुम्हारे शत्रु तलवार से तुम्हारे आगे आगे मारे जाएंगे;

8. Fyue of you shal chace an hundreth: and an hundreth of you shal chace ten thousande. For youre enemies shall fall in to the swerde before you.

9. और मैं तुम्हारी ओर कृपा दृष्टि रखूंगा और तुम को फलवन्त करूंगा और बढ़ाऊंगा, और तुम्हारे संग अपनी वाचा को पूर्ण करूंगा।

9. And I wyl turne me vnto you, and wyl cause you to growe and increase, and wyl set vp my couenanut with you.

10. और तुम रखे हुए पुराने अनाज को खाओगे, और नये के रहते भी पुराने को निकालोगे।

10. And ye shal eate of the olde stoare, and shall let go the olde for plenteousnesse of the new.

11. और मैं तुम्हारे बीच अपना निवासस्थान बनाए रखूंगा, और मेरा जी तुम से घृणा नहीं करेगा।

11. I will haue my dwellynge amonge you, and my soule shall not refuse you.

12. और मैं तुम्हारे मध्य चला फिरा करूंगा, और तुम्हारा परमेश्वर बना रहूंगा, और तुम मेरी प्रजा बने रहोगे।

12. And I wyll walke amonge you, and wyl be youre God, and ye shalbe my people.

13. मैं तो तुम्हारा वह परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं, जो तुम को मि देश से इसलिये निकाल ले आया कि तुम मिस्त्रियों के दास न बने रहो; और मैं ने तुम्हारे जूए को तोड़ डाला है, और तुम को सीधा खड़ा करके चलाया है।।

13. For I am the LORDE youre God, which brought you out of the londe of Egipte, that ye shulde not be their bondmen. And I haue broke the cepter of youre yocke, and caused you to go vp right.

14. यदि तुम मेरी न सुनोगे, और इन सब आज्ञाओं को न मानोगे,

14. But yf ye wil not harken vnto me, ner do all these commaundementes,

15. और मेरी विधियों को निकम्मा जानोगे, और तुम्हारी आत्मा मेरे निर्णयों से घृणा करे, और तुम मेरी सब आज्ञाओं का पालन न करोगे, वरन मेरी वाचा को तोड़ोगे,

15. and wyl despyse my statutes, and yf youre soules refuse my lawes, yt ye wyll not do all my commaundementes, & shal let my couenaunt stonde,

16. तो मैं तुम से यह करूंगा; अर्थात् मैं तुम को बेचैन करूंगा, और क्षयरोग और ज्वर से पीड़ित करूंगा, और इनके कारण तुम्हारी आंखे धुंधली हो जाएंगी, और तुम्हारा मन अति उदास होगा। और तुम्हारा बीच बोना व्यर्थ होगा, क्योंकि तुम्हारे शत्रु उसकी उपज खा लेंगे;

16. then wyll I do this agayne vnto you. I wyl vyset you shortly with swellynges and feuers, which shal destroye ye eyes, & consume awaie ye hert. Ye shal sowe youre sede in vayne, and youre enemies shal eate it vp.

17. और मैं भी तुम्हारे विरूद्ध हो जाऊंगा, और तुम अपने शत्रुओं से हार जाओगे; और तुम्हारे बैरी तुम्हारे ऊपर अधिकार करेंगे, और जब कोई तुम को खदेड़ता भी न होगा तब भी तुम भागोगे।

17. And I wyl set my face agaynst you, and ye shal be slayne before youre enemies. And they that hate you, shal haue dominion ouer And ye shall flye, wha no man chaseth you.

18. और यदि तुम इन बातों के उपरान्त भी मेरी न सुनो, तो मैं तुम्हारे पापों के कारण तुम्हें सातगुणी ताड़ना और दूंगा,

18. But yf ye wyll not herken vnto me for all this, then wyl I make it yet seuen tymes more, to punysh you for youre synnes,

19. और मैं तुम्हारे बल का घमण्ड तोड़ डालूंगा, और तुम्हारे लिये आकाश को मानो लोहे का और भूमि को मानो पीतल की बना दूंगा;

19. that I maye breake ye pryde of youre strength, and wyl make youre heauen lyke yron, and youre earth as brasse:

20. और तुम्हारा बल अकारथ गंवाया जाएगा, क्योंकि तुम्हारी भूमि अपनी उपज न उपजाएगी, और मैदान के वृक्ष अपने फल न देंगे।

20. and youre trauaile and labor shal be but lost, so that youre londe shall not geue hir increase, and the trees in the londe shal not brynge forth their frute.

21. और यदि तुम मेरे विरूद्ध चलते ही रहो, और मेरा कहना न मानों, तो मैं तुम्हारे पापों के अनुसार तुम्हारे ऊपर और सातगुणा संकट डालूंगा।

21. Yf ye walke yet agaynst me, and wyll not harken vnto me, then wyl I make it yet seuen tymes more, to punysh you because of youre synnes:

22. और मैं तुम्हारे बीच बन पशु भेजूंगा, जो तुम को निर्वंश करेंगे, और तुम्हारे घरेलू पशुओं को नाशकर डालेंगे, और तुम्हारी गिनती घटाएंगे, जिस से तुम्हारी सड़के सूनी पड़ जाएंगी।

22. & wyl sende wylde beestes amoge you, which shal robbe you, and destroie youre catell, and make you fewer, and youre hye waye shal be come waist.

23. फिर यदि तुम इन बातों पर भी मेरी ताड़ना से न सुधरो, और मेरे विरूद्ध चलते ही रहो,

23. But yf ye wyl not yet be refourmed here withall, and wyll walke contrary vnto me,

24. तो मैं भी तुम्हारे विरूद्ध चलूंगा, और तुम्हारे पापों के कारण मैं आप ही तुम को सातगुणा मारूंगा।

24. then wyl I walke contrary vnto you also, & wyll punysh you yet seuen tymes for youre synnes.

25. तो मैं तुम पर एक ऐसी तलवार चलवाऊंगा, जो वाचा तोड़ने का पूरा पूरा पलटा लेगी; और जब तुम अपने नगरों में जा जाकर इकट्ठे होगे तब मैं तुम्हारे बीच मरी फैलाऊंगा, और तुम अपने शत्रुओं के वश में सौंप दिए जाओगे।

25. And I wyl brynge vpon you a swerde of vengeaunce, which shall auenge my Testament. And though ye gather you together in to youre cities, yet wyll I sende the pestilence amonge you, and wyll delyuer you in to the handes of youre enemies.

26. और जब मैं तुम्हारे लिये अन्न के आधार को दूर कर डालूंगा, तब दस स्त्रियां तुम्हारी रोटी एक ही तंदूर में पकाकर तौल तौलकर बांट देंगी; और तुम खाकर भी तृप्त न होगे।।

26. For I wil destroye youre prouysion of bred, so yt ten wemen shall bake youre bred in one ouen, and youre bred shal be delyuered out by weight. And whan ye eate, ye shall not haue ynough.

27. फिर यदि तुम इसके उपरान्त भी मेरी न सुनोगे, और मेरे विरूद्ध चलते ही रहोगे,

27. Yf ye wyl not yet for all this harken vnto me, & wyl walke contrary vnto me,

28. तो मैं अपने न्याय में तुम्हारे विरूद्ध चलूंगा, और तुम्हारे पापों के कारण तुम को सातगुणी ताड़ना और भी दूंगा।

28. then wyll I also walke cotrary vnto you in wrathfull displeasure, and wyll punysh you seuenfolde because of youre synnes,

29. और तुम को अपने बेटों और बेटियों का मांस खाना पड़ेगा।

29. so that ye shal eate the flesh of youre sonnes and doughters.

30. और मैं तुम्हारे पूजा के ऊंचे स्थानों को ढा दूंगा, और तुम्हारे सूर्य की प्रतिमाएं तोड़ डालूंगा, और तुम्हारी लोथों को तुम्हारी तोड़ी हुई मूरतों पर फूंक दूंगा; और मेरी आत्मा को तुम से घृणा हो जाएगी।

30. And I wyl destroye youre hye altares, and rote out youre ymages, and wyll cast youre bodies vpon the bodies of youre Idols, and my soule shall abhorre you.

31. और मैं तुम्हारे नगरों को उजाड़ दूंगा, और तुम्हारे पवित्रा स्थानों को उजाड़ दूंगा, और तुम्हारा सुखदायक सुगन्ध ग्रहण न करूंगा।

31. And youre cities wyll I make waist, and brynge youre churches to naught, and wyll not smell youre swete odoures.

32. और मैं तुम्हारे देश को सूना कर दूंगा, और तुम्हारे शत्रु जो उस में रहते हैं वे इन बातों के कारण चकित होंगे।

32. Thus wyll I make the londe desolate, so that youre enemies shall dwell therin, and make it waist:

33. और मैं तुम को जाति जाति के बीच तित्तर- बित्तर करूंगा, और तुम्हारे पीछे पीछे तलवार खीचें रहूंगा; और तुम्हारा देश सुना हो जाएगा, और तुम्हारे नगर उजाड़ हो जाएंगे।

33. but you will I scater amonge the Heythen, and drawe out the swerde after you, so that youre londe shal be waist, & youre cities desolate.

34. तब जितने दिन वह देश सूना पड़ा रहेगा और तुम अपने शत्रुओं के देश में रहोगे उतने दिन वह अपने विश्रामकालों को मानता रहेगा।

34. Then shall the londe reioyse in hir Sabbathes, as longe as it lyeth wayst, and ye be in the enemies londe. Yee then shal the londe kepe holy daye, and reioyse in hir rest,

35. और जितने दिन वह सूना पड़ा रहेगा उतने दिन उसको विश्राम रहेगा, अर्थात् जो विश्राम उसको तुम्हारे वहां बसे रहने के समय तुम्हारे विश्रामकालों में न मिला होगा वह उसको तब मिलेगा।

35. as longe as it lieth wayst, because it coude not rest in youre Sabbathes, whan ye dwelt therin.

36. और तुम में से जो बच रहेंगे और अपने शत्रुओं के देश में होंगे उनके हृदय में मै कायरता उपजाऊंगा; और वे पत्ते के खड़कने से भी भाग जाएंगे, और वे ऐसे भागेंगे जैसे कोई तलवार से भागे, और किसी के बिना पीछा किए भी वे गिर गिर पड़ेंगे।

36. And as for them that remayne of you, I wyll make them faynte harted in the londe of their enemies, so that a shakynge leaf shall chace them. And they shall flye from it, as though a swerde persecuted them, and shal fall noman folowynge vpon them.

37. और जब कोई पीछा करनेवाला न हो तब भी मानों तलवार के भय से वे एक दूसरे से ठोकर खाकर गिरते जाएंगे, और तुम को अपने शत्रुओं के साम्हने ठहरने की कुछ शक्ति न होगी।

37. And they shall fall one vpon another (as it were before the swerde) and noman yet chacynge them. And ye shall not be so bolde, as to withstonde youre enemies,

38. तब तुम जाति जाति के बीच पहुंचकर नाश हो जाओगे, और तुम्हारे शत्रुओं की भूमि तुम को खा जाएगी।

38. and shal perishe amonge the Heithen, and the londe of youre enemies shal eate you vp.

39. और तुम में से जो बचे रहेंगे वे अपने शत्रुओं के देशों में अपने अधर्म के कारण गल जाएंगे; और अपने पुरखाओं के अधर्म के कामों के कारण भी वे उन्हीं की नाई गल जाएंगे।

39. And they that are left of you, shall pyne awaye in their mysdede, euen in the enemies londe, and in the mysdedes of their fathers shall they consume awaye.

40. तब वे अपने और अपने पितरों के अधर्म को मान लेंगे, अर्थात् उस विश्वासघात को जो वे मेरा करेंगे, और यह भी मान लेंगे, कि हम यहोवा के विरूद्ध चले थे,

40. Then shall they knowlege their mysdedes, and the mysdedes of their fathers in the trespace, wherwith they haue trespaced agaynst me, and walked contrary vnto me.

41. इसी कारण वह हमारे विरूद्ध होकर हमें शत्रुओं के देश में ले आया है। यदि उस समय उनका खतनारहित हृदय दब जाएगा और वे उस समय अपने अधर्म के दण्ड को अंगीकार करेगें;

41. Therfore wyll I also walke contrary vnto the, and wyll brynge them in to the enemies londe. Then shal their vncircumcysed herte be tamed. And then shall they ende their mysdedes.

42. तब जो वाचा मैं ने याकूब के संग बान्धी थी उसको मैं स्मरण करूंगा, और जो वाचा मैं ने इसहाक से और जो वाचा मैं ने इब्राहीम से बान्धी थी उनको भी स्मरण करूंगा, और इस देश को भी मैं स्मरण करूंगा।
लूका 1:72-73

42. And I shal thinke vpo my couenaut with Iacob, and vpon my couenaunt with Isaac, and vpon my couenaunt with Abraham, and wyl thynke vpon the lode.

43. और वह देश उन से रहित होकर सूना पड़ा रहेगा, और उनके बिना सूना रहकर भी अपने विश्रामकालों को मानता रहेगा; और वे लोग अपने अधर्म के दण्ड को अंगीकार करेगें, इसी कारण से कि उन्हों ने मेरी आज्ञाओं का उलंघन किया था, और उनकी आत्माओं को मेरी विधियों से घृणा थी।

43. As for the londe, whan it shalbe left of them, it shal reioyse in hir Sabbathes, euen then, whan it lyeth waist, and they tylle it not. And they shall make attonement for their mysdedes, because they despysed my lawes, & their soules refused my statutes.

44. इतने पर भी जब वे अपने शत्रुओं के देश में होंगे, तब मैं उनको इस प्रकार नहीं छोडूंगा, और न उन से ऐसी घृणा करूंगा कि उनका सर्वनाश कर डालूं और अपनी उस वाचा को तोड़ दूं जो मैं ने उन से बान्धी है; क्योंकि मैं उनका परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं;

44. Morouer I haue not so refused them, that they shulde be in the enemies londe: nether haue I so vtterly abhorred them, that I wolde brynge them to naught, and breake my couenaunt wt them: for I am ye LORDE their God.

45. परन्तु मैं उनके भलाई के लिये उनके पितरों से बान्धी हुई वाचा को स्मरण करूंगा, जिन्हें मै अन्यजातियों की आंखों के साम्हने मि देश से निकालकर लाया कि मैं उनका परमेश्वर ठहरूं; मैं यहोवा हूं।।

45. And for their sake I wyl remebre my first couenaut, wha I brought them out of ye londe of Egipte in the sight of the Heythen, yt I might be their God. Euen I the LORDE.

46. जो जो विधियां और नियम और व्यवस्था यहोवा ने अपनी ओर से इस्त्राएलियों के लिये सीनै पर्वत पर मूसा के द्वारा ठहराई थीं वे ये ही हैं।।

46. These are the ordinaunces, statutes and lawes, which ye LORDE made betwixte him and the children of Israel vpon mount Sinai, by the hande of Moses.
