1. जब हारून के दो पुत्रा यहोवा के साम्हने समीप जाकर मर गए, उसके बाद यहोवा ने मूसा से बातें की;

1. The Lord spoke to Moses after two of Aaron's sons had died. They were the sons who died when they came near the Lord.

2. और यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, अपने भाई हारून से कह, कि सन्दूक के ऊपर के प्रायश्चित्तवाले ढ़कने के आगे, बीचवाले पर्दे के अन्दर, पवित्रास्थान में हर समय न प्रवेश करे, नहीं तो मर जाएगा; क्योंकि मैं प्रायश्चित्तवाले ढ़कने के ऊपर बादल में दिखाई दूंगा।

2. The Lord said to Moses, 'Speak to your brother Aaron. Tell him not to come into the Most Holy Room just anytime he wants to. Tell him not to come behind the curtain that is in front of the cover of the ark. The cover is the place where sin is paid for. If he comes behind the curtain, he will die. That is because I appear in the cloud over the cover.

3. और जब हारून पवित्रास्थान में प्रवेश करे तब इस रीति से प्रवेश करे, अर्थात् पापबलि के लिये एक बछड़े को और होमबलि के लिये एक मेढ़े को लेकर आए।

3. 'Aaron must not enter the area of the sacred tent without bringing a sacrifice. He must bring a young bull for a sin offering. He must also bring a ram for a burnt offering.

4. वह सनी के कपड़े का पवित्रा अंगरखा, और अपने तन पर सनी के कपड़े की जांघिया पहिने हुए, और सनी के कपड़े का कटिबन्द, और सनी के कपड़े की पगड़ी बांधे हुए प्रवेश करे; ये पवित्रा स्थान हैं, और वह जल से स्नान करके इन्हें पहिने।

4. 'He must put on the sacred inner robe that is made out of linen. He must wear linen underwear next to his body. He must tie the linen belt around him. And he must put on the linen turban. Those are sacred clothes. So he must take a bath before he puts them on.

5. फिर वह इस्त्राएलियों की मण्डली के पास से पापबलि के लिये दो बकरे और होमबलि के लिये एक मेढ़ा ले।

5. 'The community of Israel must give him two male goats and a ram. The goats are for a sin offering. The ram is for a burnt offering.

6. और हारून उस पापबलि के बछड़े को जो उसी के लिये होगा चढ़ाकर अपने और अपने घराने के लिये प्रायश्चित्त करे।
इब्रानियों 5:3, इब्रानियों 7:27

6. 'Aaron must offer the bull for his own sin offering. It will pay for his own sin and the sin of his whole family.

7. और उन दोनों बकरों को लेकर मिलापवाले तम्बू के द्वार पर यहोवा के साम्हने खड़ा करे;

7. 'Then he must take the two goats and bring them to me at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

8. और हारून दोनों बकरों पर चिटि्ठयां डाले, एक चिट्ठी यहोवा के लिये और दूसरी अजाजेल के लिये हो।

8. He must cast lots for the two goats. One lot is for me. The other is for the goat that carries the people's sins away.

9. और जिस बकरे पर यहोवा के नाम की चिट्ठी निकले उसको हारून पापबलि के लिये चढ़ाए;

9. Aaron must bring the goat that is chosen for me by lot. He must sacrifice it for a sin offering.

10. परन्तु जिस बकरे पर अजाजेल के लिये चिट्ठी निकले वह यहोवा के साम्हने जीवता खड़ा किया जाए कि उस से प्रायश्चित्त किया जाए, और वह अजाजेल के लिये जंगल में छोड़ा जाए।

10. 'But the goat that is chosen by the other lot must remain alive. First it must be brought in to me to pay for the people's sin. Then it must be sent into the desert as a goat that carries the people's sins away.

11. और हारून उस पापबलि के बछड़े को जो उसी के लिये होगा समीप ले आए, और उसको बलिदान करके अपने और अपने घराने के लिये प्रायश्चित्त करे।

11. 'Aaron must bring the bull for his own sin offering. It will pay for his own sin and the sin of his whole family. He must kill the bull for his own sin offering.

12. और जो वेदी यहोवा के सम्मुख है उस पर के जलते हुए कोयलों से भरे हुए धूपदान को लेकर, और अपनी दोनों मुटि्ठयों को फूटे हुए सुगन्धित धूप से भरकर, बीचवाले पर्दे के भीतर ले आकर

12. 'He must take a shallow cup full of burning coals from the altar in my sight. He must get two handfuls of incense that is completely ground up. The incense must smell sweet. He must take the cup and the incense behind the curtain.

13. उस धूप को यहोवा के सम्मुख आग में डाले, जिस से धूप का धुआं साक्षीपत्रा के ऊपर के प्रायश्चित्त के ढकने के ऊपर छा जाए, नहीं तो वह मर जाएगा;

13. He must put the incense on the fire in my sight. The smoke from the incense will hide the cover of the ark where the tablets of the covenant are kept. The cover is the place where sin is paid for. Aaron must burn the incense so that he will not die.

14. तब वह बछड़े के लोहू में से कुछ लेकर पूरब की ओर प्रायश्चित्त के ढकने के ऊपर अपनी उंगली से छिड़के, और फिर उस लोहू में से कुछ उंगली के द्वारा उस ढकने के साम्हने भी सात बार छिड़क दे।

14. 'He must dip his finger in the bull's blood. He must sprinkle it on the front of the cover of the ark. He must sprinkle some in front of the cover. He must do it seven times.

15. फिर वह उस पापबलि के बकरे को जो साधारण जनता के लिये होगा बलिदान करके उसके लोहू को बीचवाले पर्दे के भीतर ले आए, और जिस प्रकार बछड़े के लोहू से उस ने किया था ठीक वैसा ही वह बकरे के लोहू से भी करे, अर्थात् उसको प्रायश्चित्त के ढकने के ऊपर और उसके साम्हने छिड़के।

15. 'Then Aaron must kill the goat for the sin offering for the people. He must take its blood behind the curtain. There he must do the same thing with it as he did with the bull's blood. He must sprinkle it on the cover of the ark. He must also sprinkle some in front of it.

16. और वह इस्त्राएलियों की भांति भांति की अशुद्धता, और अपराधों, और उनके सब पापों के कारण पवित्रास्थान के लिये प्रायश्चित्त करे; और मिलापवाला तम्बू जो उनके संग उनकी भांति भांति की अशुद्धता के बीच रहता है उसके लिये भी वह वैसा ही करे।

16. 'That is how he will make the Most Holy Room pure. He must do it because the people of Israel are not 'clean.' They have not obeyed me. They have also committed other sins. Aaron must do the same for the Tent of Meeting because it stands in the middle of the camp. And the camp is not 'clean.'

17. और जब हारून प्रायश्चित्त करने के लिये पवित्रास्थान में प्रवेश करे, तब से जब तक वह अपने और अपने घराने और इस्त्राएल की सारी मण्डली के लिये प्रायश्चित्त करके बाहर न निकले तब तक कोई मनुष्य मिलापवाले तम्बू में न रहे।

17. 'No one can be in the Tent of Meeting when Aaron goes into the Most Holy Room to pay for the people's sin. No one can enter the tent until Aaron comes out. He will not come out until he has paid for his own sin and the sin of his whole family. He will not come out until he has also paid for the sin of the whole community of Israel.

18. फिर वह निकलकर उस वेदी के पास जो यहोवा के साम्हने है जाए और उसके लिये प्रायश्चित्त करे, अर्थात् बछड़े के लोहू और बकरे के लोहू दोनों में से कुछ लेकर उस वेदी के चारों कोनों के सींगो पर लगाए।

18. 'Then he will come out to the altar for burnt offerings. It is in front of the tent where the ark of the Lord is. He will make the altar pure and clean. He will take some of the bull's blood and some of the goat's blood. Then he will put the blood on all of the horns that stick out from the upper four corners of the altar.

19. और उस लोहू में से कुछ अपनी उंगली के द्वारा सात बार उस पर छिड़ककर उसे इस्त्राएलियों की भांति भांति की अशुद्धता छुड़ाकर शुद्ध और पवित्रा करे।

19. He will sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times. He will do it to make the altar pure. He will do it to set it apart from the people of Israel. They are not 'clean.'

20. और जब वह पवित्रास्थान और मिलापवाले तम्बू और वेदी के लिये प्रायश्चित्त कर चुके, तब जीवित बकरे को आगे ले आए;

20. 'Aaron will finish making the Most Holy Room pure and clean. He will finish making the Tent of Meeting and the altar pure. 'Then he will bring the live goat out.

21. और हारून अपने दोनों हाथों को जीवित बकरे पर रखकर इस्त्राएलियों के सब अधर्म के कामों, और उनके सब अपराधों, निदान उनके सारे पापों को अंगीकार करे, और उनको बकरे के सिर पर धरकर उसको किसी मनुष्य के हाथ जो इस काम के लिये तैयार हो जंगल में भेजके छुड़वा दे।

21. He must place both of his hands on its head. While he does that, he must tell me about all of the sins the people of Israel have committed. He must tell me about all of their evil acts and the times they did not obey me. In that way he puts their sins on the goat's head. 'Then he will send the goat away into the desert. The goat will be led away by a man who was appointed to do it.

22. और वह बकरा उनके सब अधर्म के कामों को अपने ऊपर लादे हुए किसी निराले देश में उठा ले जाएगा; इसलिये वह मनुष्य उस बकरे को जंगल मे छोड़े दे।

22. The goat will carry all of their sins on itself to a place where there are no people. And the man will set the goat free in the desert.

23. तब हारून मिलापवाले तम्बू में आए, और जिस सनी के वस्त्रों को पहिने हुए उस ने पवित्रास्थान में प्रवेश किया था उन्हें उतारकर वहीं पर रख दे।

23. 'Then Aaron must go into the Tent of Meeting. He must take off the linen clothes he put on before he entered the Most Holy Room. He must leave them there.

24. फिर वह किसी पवित्रा स्थान में जल से स्नान कर अपने निज वस्त्रा पहिन ले, और बाहर जाकर अपने होमबलि और साधारण जनता के होमबलि को चढ़ाकर अपने और जनता के लिये प्रायश्चित्त करे।

24. He must take a bath in a holy place. And he must put on his regular clothes. 'Then he will come out and sacrifice the burnt offering for himself. He will also sacrifice the burnt offering for the people. That will pay for his own sin and the people's sin.

25. और पापबलि की चरबी को वह वेदी पर जलाए।

25. He will also burn the fat of the sin offering on the altar.

26. और जो मनुष्य बकरे को अजाजेल के लिये छोड़कर आए वह भी अपने वस्त्रों को धोए, और जल से स्नान करे, और तब वह छावनी में प्रवेश करे।

26. 'The man who sets free the goat that carries the people's sins away must wash his clothes. He must take a bath. After that, he can come back into the camp.

27. और पापबलि का बछड़ा और पापबलि का बकरा भी जिनका लोहू पवित्रास्थान में प्रायश्चित्त करने के लिये पहुंचाया जाए वे दोनों छावनी से बाहर पहुंचाए जाएं; और उनका चमड़ा, मांस, और गोबर आग में जला दिया जाए।

27. 'The bull and the goat for the sin offerings must be taken outside the camp. Their blood was brought into the Most Holy Room. It paid for sin. The hides, meat and guts must be burned up.

28. और जो उनको जलाए वह अपने वस्त्रों को धोए, और जल से स्नान करे, और इसके बाद वह छावनी में प्रवेश करने पाए।।

28. 'The man who burns them must wash his clothes. He must take a bath. After that, he can come back into the camp.

29. और तुम लोगों के लिये यह सदा की विधि होगी कि सातवें महीने के दसवें दिन को तुम अपने अपने जीव को दु:ख देना, और उस दिन कोई, चाहे वह तुम्हारे निज देश को हो चाहे तुम्हारे बीच रहने वाला कोई परदेशी हो, कोई भी किसी प्रकार का काम काज न करे;
प्रेरितों के काम 27:9

29. 'Here is a law for you that will last for all time to come. On the tenth day of the seventh month you must not eat anything. You must not do any work. It does not matter whether you are Israelites or outsiders.

30. क्योंकि उस दिन तुम्हें शुद्ध करने के लिये तुम्हारे निमित्त प्रायश्चित्त किया जाएगा; और तुम अपने सब पापों से यहोवा के सम्मुख पवित्रा ठहरोगे।
इब्रानियों 9:7-12-28

30. On that day your sin will be paid for. You will be made pure and clean. You will be clean from all of your sins in my sight.

31. यह तुम्हारे लिये परमविश्राम का दिन ठहरे, और तुम उस दिन अपने अपने जीव को दु:ख देना; यह सदा की विधि है।

31. That day is a sabbath for you. You must rest on it. You must not eat anything on that day. That is a law that will last for all time to come.

32. और जिसका अपने पिता के स्थान पर याजक पद के लिये अभिषेक और संस्कार किया जाए वह याजक प्रायश्चित्त किया करे, अर्थात् वह सनी के पवित्रा वस्त्रों को पहिनकर,

32. 'The high priest must pay for sin. He must make everything pure and clean. He has been anointed and prepared to become the next high priest after his father. He must put on the sacred clothes that are made out of linen.

33. पवित्रास्थान, और मिलापवाले तम्बू, और वेदी के लिये प्रायश्चित्त करे; और याजकों के और मण्डली के सब लोगों के लिये भी प्रायश्चित्त करे।

33. He must make the Most Holy Room, the Tent of Meeting and the altar pure. And he must pay for the sin of the priests and all of the people in the whole community.

34. और यह तुम्हारे लिये सदा की विधि होगी, कि इस्त्राएलियों के लिये प्रतिवर्ष एक बार तुम्हारे सारे पापों के लिये प्रायश्चित्त किया जाए। यहोवा की इस आज्ञा के अनुसार जो उस ने मूसा को दी थी हारून ने किया।।
इब्रानियों 9:7-12-28

34. 'Here is a law for you that will last for all time to come. Once a year you must pay for all of the sin of the people of Israel.' So it was done, just as the Lord commanded Moses.
