1. फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

1. God's Message came to me:

2. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, तू बलवा करनेवाले घराने के बीच में रहता है, जिनके देखने के लिये आंखें तो हैं, परन्तु नहीं देखते; और सुनने के लिये कान तो हैं परन्तु नहीं सुनते; क्योंकि वे बलवा करनेवाले घराने के हैं।
मरकुस 8:18, रोमियों 11:8

2. 'Son of man, you're living with a bunch of rebellious people. They have eyes but don't see a thing, they have ears but don't hear a thing. They're rebels all.

3. इसलिये हे मनुष्य के सन्तान दिन को बंधुआई का सामान, तैयार करके उनके देखते हुए उठ जाना, उनके देखते हुए अपना स्थान छोड़कर दूसरे स्थान को जाना। यद्यपि वे बलवा करनेवाले घराने के हैं, तौभी सम्भव है कि वे ध्यान दें।

3. So, son of man, pack up your exile duffel bags. Leave in broad daylight with everyone watching and go off, as if into exile. Maybe then they'll understand what's going on, rebels though they are.

4. सो तू दिन को उनके देखते हुए बंधुआई के सामान की नाई अपना सामान निकालना, और तब तू सांझ को बंधुआई में जानेवाले के समान उनके देखते हुए उठ जाना।

4. You'll take up your baggage while they watch, a bundle of the bare necessities of someone going into exile, and toward evening leave, just like a person going off into exile.

5. उनके देखते हुए भीत को फोड़कर उसी से अपना सामान निकालना।

5. As they watch, dig through the wall of the house and carry your bundle through it.

6. उनके देखते हुए उसे अपने कंधे पर उठाकर अन्धेरे में निकालना, और अपना मुंह ढांपे रहना कि भूमि तुझे न देख पड़े; क्योंकि मैं ने तुझे इस्राएल के घराने के लिये एक चिन्ह ठहराया है।

6. In full sight of the people, put the bundle on your shoulder and walk out into the night. Cover your face so you won't have to look at what you'll never see again. I'm using you as a sign for the family of Israel.'

7. उस आज्ञा के अनुसार मैं ने वैसा ही किया। दिन को मैं ने अपना सामान बंधुआई के सामान की नाई निकाला, और सांझ को अपने हाथ से भीत को फोड़ा; फिर अन्धेरे में सामान को निकालकर, उनके देखते हुए अपने कंधे पर उठाए हुए चला गया।

7. I did exactly as he commanded me. I got my stuff together and brought it out in the street where everyone could see me, bundled it up the way someone being taken off into exile would, and then, as the sun went down, made a hole in the wall of the house with my hands. As it grew dark and as they watched, I left, throwing my bundle across my shoulders.

8. बिहान को यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

8. The next morning GOD spoke to me:

9. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, क्या इस्राएल के घराने ने अर्थात् उस बलवा करनेवाले घराने ने तुझ से यह नहीं पूछा, कि यह तू क्या करता है?

9. 'Son of man, when anyone in Israel, that bunch of rebels, asks you, 'What are you doing?'

10. तू उन से कह कि प्रभु यहोवा यों कहता है, यह प्रभावशाली वचन यरूशलेम के प्रधान पुरूष और इस्राएल के सारे घराने के विष्य में है जिसके बीच में वे रहते हैं।

10. Tell them, 'GOD, the Master, says that this Message especially concerns the prince in Jerusalem--Zedekiah--but includes all the people of Israel.'

11. तू उन से कह, मैं नुम्हारे लिये चिन्ह हूँ; जैसा मैं ने किया है, वैसा ही इस्रााएली लागों से भी किया जाएगा; उनको उठकर बंधुआई में जाना पड़ेगा।

11. 'Also tell them, 'I am drawing a picture for you. As I am now doing, it will be done to all the people of Israel. They will go into exile as captives.'

12. उनके बीच में जो प्रधान है, सो अन्धेरे में अपने कंघे पर बोझ उठाए हुए निकलेगा; वह अपना सामान निकालने के लिये भीत को फोड़ेगा, और अपना मुंह ढांपे रहेगा कि उसको भूमि न देख पड़े।

12. 'The prince will put his bundle on his shoulders in the dark and leave. He'll dig through the wall of the house, covering his face so he won't have to look at the land he'll never see again.

13. और मैं उस पर अपना जाल फैलाऊंगा, और वह मेरे फंदे में फंसेगा; और मैं उसे कसदियों के देश के बाबुल में पहुंचा दूंगा; यद्यपि वह उस नगर में मर जाएगा, तौभी उसको न देखेगा।

13. But I'll make sure he gets caught and is taken to Babylon. Blinded, he'll never see that land in which he'll die.

14. और जितने उसके सहायक उसके आस पास होंगे, उनको और उसकी सारी टोलियों को मैं सब दिशाओं में तितर- बितर कर दूंगा; और तलवार खींचकर उनके पीछे चलवाऊंगा।

14. I'll scatter to the four winds those who helped him escape, along with his troops, and many will die in battle.

15. और जब मैं उन्हे जाति जाति में तितर- बितर कर दूंगा, और देश देश में छिन्न भीन्न कर दूंगा, तब वे जान लेंगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

15. They'll realize that I am GOD when I scatter them among foreign countries.

16. परन्तु मैं उन में से थेड़े से लोगों को तलवार, भूख और मरी से बचा रखूंगा; और वे अपने घृणित काम उन जातियों में बखान करेंगे जिनके बीच में वे पहुंचेंगे; तब वे जान लेंगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

16. 'I'll permit a few of them to escape the killing, starvation, and deadly sickness so that they can confess among the foreign countries all the disgusting obscenities they've been involved in. They will realize that I am GOD.'

17. तब यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

17. GOD's Message came to me:

18. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, कांपते हुए अपनी रोटी खाना और थरथराते और चिन्ता करते हुए अपना पानी पीना;

18. 'Son of man, eat your meals shaking in your boots, drink your water trembling with fear.

19. और इस देश के लोगों से यों कहना, कि प्रभु यहोवा यरूशलेम और इस्राएल के देश के निवासियों के विषय में यों कहता है, वे अपनी रोटी चिन्ता के साथ खाएंगे, और अपना पानी विस्मय के साथ पीएंगे; क्योंकि देश अपने सब रहनेवालों के उपद्रव के कारण अपनी सारी भरपूरी से रहित हो जाएगा।

19. Tell the people of this land, everyone living in Jerusalem and Israel, GOD's Message: 'You'll eat your meals shaking in your boots and drink your water in terror because your land is going to be stripped bare as punishment for the brutality rampant in it.

20. और बसे हुए नगर उजड़ जाएंगे, और देश भी उजाड़ हो जाएगा; तब तुम लोग जान लोगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

20. All the cities and villages will be emptied out and the fields destroyed. Then you'll realize that I am GOD.''

21. फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

21. GOD's Message came to me:

22. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान यह क्या कहावत है जो तुम लोग इस्राएल के देश में कहा करते हो, कि दिन अधिक हो गए हैं, और दर्शन की कोई बात पूरी नहीं हुई?

22. 'Son of man, what's this proverb making the rounds in the land of Israel that says, 'Everything goes on the same as ever; all the prophetic warnings are false alarms'?

23. इसलिये उन से कह, पभु यहोवा यों कहता है, मैं इस कहावत को बन्द करूंगा; और यह कहावत इस्राएल पर फिर न चलेगी। और तू उन से कह कि वह दिन निकट आ गया है, और दर्शन की सब बातें पूरी होने पर हैं।

23. 'Tell them, 'GOD, the Master, says, This proverb's going to have a short life!' 'Tell them, 'Time's about up. Every warning is about to come true.

24. क्योंकि इस्राएल के घराने में न तो और अधिक झूठे दर्शन की कोई बात और न कोई चिकनी- चुपड़ी बात फिर कही जाएगी।

24. False alarms and easygoing preaching are a thing of the past in the life of Israel.

25. क्योंकि मैं यहोवा हूँ; जब मैं बोलूं, तब जो वचन मैं कहूं, वह पूरा हो जाएगा। उस में विलम्ब न होगा, परन्तु, हे बलवा करनेवाले घराने तुम्हारे ही दिनों में मैं वचन कहूंगा, और वह पूरा हो जाएगा, प्रभु यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

25. I, GOD, am doing the speaking. What I say happens. None of what I say is on hold. What I say, I'll do--and soon, you rebels!' Decree of God the Master.'

26. फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

26. GOD's Message came to me:

27. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, देख, इस्राएल के घराने के लोग यह कह रहे हैं कि जो दर्शन वह देखता है, वह बहुत दिन के बाद पूरा होनेवाला है; और कि वह दूर के समय के विषय में भविष्यद्वाणी करता है।

27. 'Son of man, do you hear what Israel is saying: that the alarm the prophet raises is for a long time off, that he's preaching about the far-off future?

28. इसलिये तू उन से कह, प्रभु यहोवा यों कहता है, मेरे किसी बचन के पूरा होने में फिर विलम्ब न होगा, वरन जो वचन मैं कहूं, सो वह निश्चय पूरा होगा, प्रभु यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

28. Well, tell them, 'GOD, the Master, says, 'Nothing of what I say is on hold. What I say happens.'' Decree of GOD, the Master.'
