1. 'Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the LORD rises to shine on you.

2. Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the LORD rises and appears over you.

3. All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance.

4. 'Look and see, for everyone is coming home! Your sons are coming from distant lands; your little daughters will be carried home.

5. तब तू इसे देखेगी और तेरा मुख चमकेगा, तेरा हृदय थरथराएगा और आनन्द से भर जाएगा; क्योंकि समुद्र का सारा धन और अन्यजातियों की धन- सम्पति तुझ को मिलेगी।

5. Your eyes will shine, and your heart will thrill with joy, for merchants from around the world will come to you. They will bring you the wealth of many lands.

6. Vast caravans of camels will converge on you, the camels of Midian and Ephah. The people of Sheba will bring gold and frankincense and will come worshiping the LORD.

7. केदार की सब भेड़- बकरियां इकट्ठी होकर तेरी हो जाएंगी, नबायोत के मेढ़े तेरी सेवा टहल के काम में आएंगे; मेरी वेदी पर वे ग्रहण किए जाएंगे और मैं अपने शोभायमान भवन को और भी प्रतापी कर दूंगा।।

7. The flocks of Kedar will be given to you, and the rams of Nebaioth will be brought for my altars. I will accept their offerings, and I will make my Temple glorious.

8. ये कौन हैं जो बादल की नाई और दर्बाओं की ओर उड़ते हुए कबूतरों की नाई चले आते हैं?

8. 'And what do I see flying like clouds to Israel, like doves to their nests?

9. निश्चय द्वीप मेरी ही बाट देखेंगे, पहिले तो तर्शीश के जहाज आएंगे, कि, मेरे पुत्रों को सोने चान्दी समेत तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा अर्थात् इस्राएल के पवित्रा के नाम के निमित्त दूर से पहुंचाए, क्योंकि उस ने तुझे शोभायमान किया है।।

9. They are ships from the ends of the earth, from lands that trust in me, led by the great ships of Tarshish. They are bringing the people of Israel home from far away, carrying their silver and gold. They will honor the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has filled you with splendor.

10. परदेशी लोग तेरी शहरपनाह को उठाएंगे, और उनके राजा तेरी सेवा टहल करेंगे; क्योंकि मैं ने क्रोध में आकर तुझे दु:ख दिया था, परन्तु अब तुझ से प्रसन्न होकर तुझ पर दया की है।

10. 'Foreigners will come to rebuild your towns. and their kings will serve you. For though I have destroyed you in my anger, I will now have mercy on you through my grace.

11. तेरे फाटक सदैव खुले रहेंगे; दिन और रात वे बन्द न किए जाएंगे जिस से अन्यजातियों की धन- सम्पत्ति और उनके राजा बंधुए होकर तेरे पास पहुंचाए जाएं।

11. Your gates will stay open around the clock to receive the wealth of many lands. The kings of the world will be led as captives in a victory procession.

12. क्योंकि जो जाति और राज्य के लोग तेरी सेवा न करें वे नष्ट हो जाएंगे; हां ऐसी जातियां पूरी रीति से सत्यानाश हो जाएंगी।

12. For the nations that refuse to serve you will be destroyed.

13. लबानोन का विभव अर्थात् सनौबर और देवदार और सीधे सनौबर के पेड़ एक सािा तेरे पास आएंगे कि मेरे पवित्रास्थान को सुशोभित करें; और मैं अपने चरणों के स्थान को महिमा दूंगा।

13. 'The glory of Lebanon will be yours-- the forests of cypress, fir, and pine-- to beautify my sanctuary. My Temple will be glorious!

14. तेरे दु:ख देनेवालों की सन्तान तेरे पास सिर झुकाए हुए आंएगें; और जिन्हों ने तेरा तिरस्कार किया सब तेरे पांवों पर गिरकर दण्डवत् करेंगे; वे तेरा नाम यहोवा का नगर, इस्राएल के पवित्रा का सिरयोन रखेंगे।।

14. The descendants of your tormentors will come and bow before you. Those who despised you will kiss your feet. They will call you the City of the LORD, and Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

15. तू जो त्यागी गई और घृणित ठहरी, यहां तक कि कोई तुझ में से होकर नहीं जाता था, इसकी सन्ती मैं तुझे सदा के घमण्ड का और पीढ़ी पीढ़ी के हर्ष का कारण ठहराऊंगा।

15. 'Though you were once despised and hated, with no one traveling through you, I will make you beautiful forever, a joy to all generations.

16. तू अन्यजातियों का दूध पी लेगी, तू राजाओं की छातियां चूसेगी; और तू जान लेगी कि मैं याहवेा तेरा उद्धारकर्त्ता और तेरा छुड़ानेवाला, याकूब का सर्वशक्तिमान हूं।।

16. Powerful kings and mighty nations will satisfy your every need, as though you were a child nursing at the breast of a queen. You will know at last that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.

17. मैं पीतल की सन्ती लोहा, लोहे की सन्ती चान्दी, लकड़ी की सन्ती पीतल और पत्थर की सन्ती लोहा लाऊंगा। मैं तेरे हाकिमों को मेल- मिलाप और चौधरियों को धार्मिकता ठहराऊंगा।

17. I will exchange your bronze for gold, your iron for silver, your wood for bronze, and your stones for iron. I will make peace your leader and righteousness your ruler.

18. तेरे देश में फिर कभी उपद्रव और तेरे सिवानों के भीतर उत्पात वा अन्धेर की चर्चा न सुनाई पड़ेगी; परन्तु तू अपनी शहरपनाह का नाम उद्धार और अपने फाटकों का नाम यश रखेगी।

18. Violence will disappear from your land; the desolation and destruction of war will end. Salvation will surround you like city walls, and praise will be on the lips of all who enter there.

19. फिर दिन को सूर्य तेरा उजियाला न होगा, न चान्दनी के लिये चन्द्रमा परन्तु यहोवा तेरे लिये सदा का उजियाला और तेरा परमेश्वर तेरी शोभा ठहरेगा।

19. 'No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the LORD your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.

20. तेरा सूर्य फिर कभी अस्त न होगा और न तेरे चन्द्रमा की ज्योति मलिन होगी; क्योंकि यहोवा तेरी सदैव की ज्योति होगा और तरे विलाप के दिन समाप्त हो जाएंगे।

20. Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the LORD will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end.

21. और तेरे लोग सब के सब धर्मी होंगे; वे सर्वदा देश के अधिकारी रहेंगे, वे मेरे लगाए हुए पौधे और मेरे हाथों का काम ठहरेंगे, जिस से मेरी महिमा प्रगट हो।
2 पतरस 3:13

21. All your people will be righteous. They will possess their land forever, for I will plant them there with my own hands in order to bring myself glory.

22. छोटे से छोटा एक हजार हो जाएगा और सब से दुर्बल एक सामर्थी जाति बन जाएगा। मैं यहोवा हूं; ठीक समय पर यह सब कुछ शीघ्रता से पूरा करूंगा।।

22. The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I, the LORD, will make it happen.'
