1. हे सिरयोन, जाग, जाग ! अपना बल धारण कर; हे पवित्रा नगर यरूशलेम, अपने शोभायमान वस्त्रा पहिन ले; क्योंकि तेरे बीच खतनारहित और अशुद्ध लोग फिर कभी प्रवेश न करने पाएंगे।

1. Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

5. इसलिये यहोवा की यह वाणी है कि मैं अब यहां क्या करूं जब कि मेरी प्रजा सेंतमेंत हर ली गई है? यहोवा यह भी कहता है कि जो उन पर प्रभुता करते हैं वे उधम मचा रहे हैं, और, मेरे नाम कि निन्दा लगातार दिन भर होती रहती है।

5. and now, what have I here, saith Jehovah, that my people hath been taken away for nought? They that rule over them make them to howl, saith Jehovah; and continually all the day is my name scorned.

6. Therefore my people shall know my name; therefore [they shall know] in that day that I [am] HE, that saith, Here am I.

8. सुन, तेरे पहरूए पुकार रहे हैं, वे एक साथ जयजयकार कर रहें हैं; क्योंकि वे साक्षात् देख रहे हैं कि यहोवा सिरयोन को लौट रहा है।

8. -- The voice of thy watchmen, they lift up the voice, they sing aloud together; for they shall see eye to eye, when Jehovah shall bring again Zion.

9. हे यरूशलेम के खण्डहरों, एक संग उमंग में आकर जयजयकार करो; क्योंकि यहोवा ने अपनी प्रजा को शान्ति दी है, उस ने यरूशलेम को छुड़ा लिया है।

11. -- Depart, depart, go out from thence, touch not what is unclean; go out of the midst of her, be ye clean, that bear the vessels of Jehovah.

12. क्योंकि तुम को उतावली से निकलना नहीं, और न भागते हुए चलना पड़ेगा; क्योंकि यहोवा तुम्हारे आगे आगे अगुवाई करता हुआ चलेगा, और, इस्राएल का परमेश्वर तुम्हारे पीछे भी रक्षा करता चलेगा।।

12. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for Jehovah will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear-guard.

15. वैसे ही वह बहुत सी जातियों को पवित्रा करेगा और उसको देखकर राजा शान्त रहेंगे; क्योंकि वे ऐसी बात देखेंगे जिसका वर्णन उनके सुनने में भी नहीं आया, और, ऐसी बात उनकी समझ में आएगी जो उन्हों ने अभी तक सुनी भी न थी।।
