1. तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, सुन, मैं तुझे फिरौन के लिये परमेश्वर सा ठहराता हूं; और तेरा भाई हारून तेरा नबी ठहरेगा।

1. Then the Lord saide to Moses, Behold, I haue made thee Pharaohs God, and Aaron thy brother shall be thy Prophet.

2. जो जो आज्ञा मैं तुझे दूं वही तू कहना, और हारून उसे फिरौन से कहेगा जिस से वह इस्राएलियों को अपने देश से निकल जाने दे।

2. Thou shalt speake all that I commanded thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speake vnto Pharaoh, that he suffer the children of Israel to go out of his land.

3. और मैं फिरौन के मन को कठोर कर दूंगा, और अपने चिन्ह और चमत्कार मि देश में बहुत से दिखलाऊंगा।

3. But I will harden Pharaohs heart, and multiplie my miracles and my wonders in the lande of Egypt.

4. तौभी फिरौन तुम्हारी न सुनेगा; और मैं मि देश पर अपना हाथ बढ़ाकर मिस्त्रियों को भारी दण्ड देकर अपनी सेना अर्थात् अपनी इस्राएली प्रजा को मि देश से निकाल लूंगा।

4. And Pharaoh shall not hearken vnto you, that I may lay mine hand vpon Egypt, and bring out myne armies, euen my people, the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, by great iudgements.

5. और जब मैं मि पर हाथ बढ़ा कर इस्राएलियों को उनके बीच से निकालूंगा तब मिद्दी जान लेंगे, कि मैं यहोवा हूं।

5. Then the Egyptians shall knowe that I am the Lord, when I stretch foorth mine hand vpon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.

6. तब मूसा और हारून ने यहोवा की आज्ञा के अनुसार ही किया।

6. So Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them, euen so did they.

7. और जब मूसा और हारून फिरौन से बात करने लगे तब मूसा तो अस्सी वर्ष का था, और हारून तिरासी वर्ष का था।।

7. (Nowe Moses was foure score yeere olde, and Aaron foure score and three, when they spake vnto Pharaoh)

8. फिर यहोवा ने, मूसा और हारून से इस प्रकार कहा,

8. And the Lord had spoken vnto Moses and Aaron, saying,

9. कि जब फिरौन तुम से कहे, कि अपने प्रमाण का कोई चमत्कार दिखाओ, तब तू हारून से कहना, कि अपनी लाठी को लेकर फिरौन के साम्हने डाल दे, कि वह अजगर बन जाए।

9. If Pharaoh speake vnto you, saying, Shewe a miracle for you, then thou shalt say vnto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shalbe turned into a serpent.

10. तब मूसा और हारून ने फिरौन के पास जाकर यहोवा की आज्ञा के अनुसार किया; और जब हारून ने अपनी लाठी को फिरौन और उसके कर्मचारियों के साम्हने डाल दिया, तब वह अजगर बन गया।

10. Then went Moses and Aaron vnto Pharaoh, and did euen as the Lord had commanded: and Aaron cast forth his rod before Pharaoh and before his seruants, and it was turned into a serpent.

11. तब फिरौन ने पण्डितों और टोनहा करनेवालों को बुलवाया; और मि के जादूगरों ने आकर अपने अपने तंत्रा मंत्रा से वैसा ही किया।

11. Then Pharaoh called also for the wise men and sorcerers: and those charmers also of Egypt did in like maner with their enchantmens,

12. उन्हों ने भी अपनी अपनी लाठी को डाल दिया, और वे भी अजगर बन गए। पर हारून की लाठी उनकी लाठियों को निगल गई।

12. For they cast downe euery man his rod, and they were turned into serpents: but Aarons rodde deuoured their rods.

13. परन्तु फिरौन का मन और हठीला हो गया, और यहोवा के वचन के अनुसार उस ने मूसा और हारून की बातों को नहीं माना।।

13. So Pharaohs heart was hardened, and hee hearkened not to them, as the Lord had saide.

14. तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, फिरोन का मन कठोर हो गया है और वह इस प्रजा को जाने नहीं देता।

14. The Lord then saide vnto Moses, Pharaohs heart is obstinate, hee refuseth to let the people goe.

15. इसलिये बिहान को फिरौन के पास जा, वह तो जल की ओर बाहर आएगा; और जो लाठी सर्प बन गई थी, उसको हाथ में लिए हुए नील नदी के तट पर उस से भेंट करने के लिये खड़ा रहना।

15. Goe vnto Pharaoh in the morning, (loe, he will come forth vnto the water) and thou shalt stand and meete him by the riuers brinke, and the rod, which was turned into a serpent, shalt thou take in thine hand.

16. और उस से इस प्रकार कहना, कि इब्रियों के परमेश्वर यहोवा ने मुझे यह कहने के लिये तेरे पास भेजा है, कि मेरी प्रजा के लोगों को जाने दे कि जिस से वे जंगल में मेरी उपासना करें; और अब तक तू ने मेरा कहना नहीं माना।

16. And thou shalt say vnto him, The Lord God of the Ebrewes hath sent me vnto thee, saying, Let my people goe, that they may serue mee in the wildernesse: and beholde, hitherto thou wouldest not heare.

17. यहोवा यों कहता है, इस से तू जान लेगा कि मैं ही परमेश्वर हूं; देख, मै अपने हाथ की लाठी को नील नदी के जल पर मारूंगा, और जल लोहू बन जाएगा,
प्रकाशितवाक्य 11:6

17. Thus saith the Lord, In this shalt thou know that I am the Lord: behold, I wil smite with the rodde that is in mine hand vpon the water that is in the riuer, and it shalbe turned to blood.

18. और जो मछलियां नील नदी में हैं वे मर जाएंगी, और नील नदी बसाने लगेगी, और नदी का पानी पीने के लिये मिस्त्रियों का जी न चाहेगा।

18. And the fish that is in the riuer shall dye, and the riuer shall stinke, and it shall grieue the Egyptians to drinke of the water of the riuer.

19. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, हारून से कह, कि अपनी लाठी लेकर मि देश में जितना जल है, अर्थात् उसकी नदियां, नहरें, झीलें, और पोखरे, सब के ऊपर अपना हाथ बढ़ा कि उनका जल लोहू बन जाए; और सारे मि देश में काठ और पत्थर दोनों भांति के जलपात्रों में लोहू ही लोहू हो जाएगा।

19. The Lord then spake to Moses, Say vnto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand ouer the waters of Egypt, ouer their streames, ouer their riuers, and ouer their pondes,, and ouer all pooles of their waters, and they shalbe blood, and there shalbe blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and of stone.

20. तब मूसा और हारून ने यहोवा की आज्ञा ही के अनुसार किया, अर्थात् उस ने लाठी को उठाकर फिरौन और उसके कर्मचारियों के देखते नील नदी के जल पर मारा, और नदी का सब जल लोहू बन गया।

20. So Moses and Aaron did euen as the Lord commanded: and hee lift vp the rodde, and smote the water that was in the riuer in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his seruants: and all the water that was in the riuer, was turned into blood.

21. और नील नदी में जो मछलियां थीं वे मर गई; और नदी से दुर्गन्ध आने लगी, और मिद्दी लोग नदी का पानी न पी सके; और सारे मि देश में लोहू हो गया।

21. And the fish that was in the ryuer dyed, and the riuer stanke: so that the Egyptians could not drinke of the water of the riuer: and there was blood throughout all the lande of Egypt.

22. तब मि के जादूगरों ने भी अपने तंत्रा- मंत्रो से वैसा ही किया; तौभी फिरौन का मन हठीला हो गया, और यहोवा के कहने के अनुसार उस ने मूसा और हारून की न मानी।

22. And the enchanters of Egypt did likewise with their sorceries: and the heart of Phraoh was hardened: so that he did not hearken vnto them, as the Lord had sayde.

23. फिरौन ने इस पर भी ध्यान नहीं दिया, और मुंह फेर के अपने घर में चला गया।

23. Then Pharaoh returned, and went againe into his house, neither did this yet enter into his heart.

24. और सब मिद्दी लोग पीने के जल के लिये नील नदी के आस पास खोदने लगे, क्योंकि वे नदी का जल नहीं पी सकते थे।

24. All the Egyptians then digged rounde about the riuer for waters to drinke: for they could not drinke of the water of the riuer.

25. और जब यहोवा ने नील नदी को मारा था तब से सात दिन हो चुके थे।।

25. And this continued fully seuen dayes after the Lord had smitten the riuer.
