1. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा,

1. And the Lord said to Moses,

2. सुन, मैं ऊरी के पुत्रा बसलेल को, जो हूर का पोता और यहूदा के गोत्रा का है, नाम लेकर बुलाता हूं।

2. I have made selection of Bezalel, the son of Uri, by name, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

3. और मैं उसको परमेश्वर की आत्मा से जो बुद्धि, प्रवीणता, ज्ञान, और सब प्रकार के कार्यों की समझ देनेवाली आत्मा है परिपूर्ण करता हूं,

3. And I have given him the spirit of God and made him wise and full of knowledge and expert in every sort of handwork,

4. जिस से वह कारीगरी के कार्य बुद्धि से निकाल निकालकर सब भांति की बनावट में, अर्थात् सोने, चांदी, और पीतल में,

4. To do all sorts of delicate work in gold and silver and brass;

5. और जड़ने के लिये मणि काटने में, और लकड़ी के खोदने में काम करे।

5. In cutting stones for framing, and to do every form of woodwork.

6. और सुन, मैं दान के गोत्रावाले अहीसामाक के पुत्रा ओहोलीआब को उसके संग कर देता हूं; वरन जितने बुद्धिमान है उन सभों के हृदय में मैं बुद्धि देता हूं, जिस से जितनी वस्तुओं की आज्ञा मैं ने तुझे दी है उन सभों को वे बनाएं;

6. And I have made selection of Oholiab with him, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all who are wise I have put the knowledge to make whatever I have given you orders to have made;

7. अर्थात् मिलापवाला तम्बू, और साक्षीपत्रा का सन्दूक, और उस पर का प्रायश्चित्तवाला ढकना, और तम्बू का सारा सामान,

7. The Tent of meeting, and the ark of the law, and the cover which is on it, and all the things for the tent,

8. और सामान सहित मेज़, और सारे सामान समेत चोखे सोने की दीवट, और धूपवेदी,

8. And the table with its vessels, and the holy light-support with all its vessels, and the altar for the burning of spices,

9. और सारे सामान सहित होमवेदी, और पाए समेत हौदी,

9. And the altar of burned offerings with all its vessels, and the washing-vessel with its base,

10. और काढ़े हुए वस्त्रा, और हारून याजक के याजकवाले काम के पवित्रा वस्त्रा, और उसके पुत्रों के वस्त्रा,

10. And the robes of needlework, the holy robes for Aaron and for his sons, for their use when acting as priests,

11. और अभिषेक का तेल, और पवित्रा स्थान के लिये सुगन्धित धूप, इन सभों को वे उन सब आज्ञाओं के अनुसार बनाएं जो मैं ने तुझे दी हैं।।

11. And the holy oil, and the perfume of sweet spices for the holy place; they will do whatever I have given you orders to have done.

12. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा,

12. And the Lord said to Moses,

13. तू इस्त्राएलियों से यह भी कहना, कि निश्चय तुम मेरे विश्रामदिनों को मानना, क्योंकि तुम्हारी पीढ़ी पीढ़ी में मेरे और तुम लोगों के बीच यह एक चिन्ह ठहरा है, जिस से तुम यह बात जान रखो कि यहोवा हमारा पवित्रा करनेहारा है।

13. Say to the children of Israel that they are to keep my Sabbaths; for the Sabbath day is a sign between me and you through all your generations; so that you may see that I am the Lord who makes you holy.

14. इस कारण तुम विश्रामदिन को मानना, क्योंकि वह तुम्हारे लिये पवित्रा ठहरा है; जो उसको अपवित्रा करे वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए; जो कोई उस दिन में से कुछ कामकाज करे वह प्राणी अपने लोगों के बीच से नाश किया जाए।

14. So you are to keep the Sabbath as a holy day; and anyone not honouring it will certainly be put to death: whoever does any work on that day will be cut off from his people.

15. छ: दिन तो काम काज किया जाए, पर सातवां दिन परमविश्राम का दिन और यहोवा के लिये पवित्रा है; इसलिये जो कोई विश्राम के दिन में कुछ काम काज करे वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए।

15. Six days may work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, holy to the Lord; whoever does any work on the Sabbath day is to be put to death.

16. सो इस्त्राएली विश्रामदिन को माना करें, वरन पीढ़ी पीढ़ी में उसको सदा की वाचा का विषय जानकर माना करें।

16. And the children of Israel are to keep the Sabbath holy, from generation to generation, by an eternal agreement.

17. वह मेरे और इस्त्राएलियों के बीच सदा एक चिन्ह रहेगा, क्योंकि छ: दिन में यहोवा ने आकाश और पृथ्वी को बनाया, और सातवें दिन विश्राम करके अपना जी ठण्डा किया।।

17. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever; because in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he took his rest and had pleasure in it.

18. जब परमेश्वर मूसा से सीनै पर्वत पर ऐसी बातें कर चुका, तब उस ने उसको अपनी उंगली से लिखी हुई साक्षी देनेवाली पत्थर की दोनों तख्तियां दी।।

18. And when his talk with Moses on Mount Sinai was ended, he gave him the two stones of the law, two stones on which was the writing made by the finger of God.
