1. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा,

1. And the Lord spake vnto Moyses, saying:

2. कि क्या मनुष्य के क्या पशु के, इस्राएलियों में जितने अपनी अपनी मां के जेठे हों, उन्हें मेरे लिये पवित्रा मानना; वह तो मेरा ही है।।
लूका 2:23

2. Sanctifie vnto me al the first borne, what so euer openeth the wombe among ye chyldren of Israel, aswell of man as of beast, for it is mine.

3. फिर मूसा ने लोगों से कहा, इस दिन को स्मरण रखो, जिस में तुम लोग दासत्व के घर, अर्थात् मि से निकल आए हो; यहोवा तो तुम को वहां से अपने हाथ के बल से निकाल लाया; इस में खमीरी रोटी न खाई जाए।

3. And Moyses saide vnto the people: ye ought to remember this day in whiche ye came out of Egypt out of ye house of bondage: for through a myghtie hande the Lorde brought you from thence: there shall no leauened bread be eaten.

4. आबीब के महीने में आज के दिन तुम निकले हो।

4. This daye came ye out, in the month Abib

5. इसलिये जब यहोवा तुम को कनानी, हित्ती, एमोरी, हिब्बी, और यबूसी लोगों के देश में पहुचाएगा, जिसे देने की उस ने तुम्हारे पुरखाओं से शपथ खाई थी, और जिस में दूध और मधु की धारा बहती है, तब तुम इसी महीने में पर्ब्ब करना।

5. When the Lorde hath brought thee into the lande of the Chanaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Heuites, and Iebusites, which he sware vnto thy fathers that he would geue thee, a lande wherin mylke and hony floweth: thou shalt kepe this seruice in this same month.

6. सात दिन तक अखमीरी रोटी खाया करना, और सातवें दिन यहोवा के लिये पर्ब्ब मानना।

6. Seuen dayes thou shalt eate vnleauened bread, and in the seuenth daye it is the feast of the Lorde.

7. इन सातों दिनों में अखमीरी रोटी खाई जाए; वरन तुम्हारे देश भर में न खमीरी रोटी, न खमीर तुम्हारे पास देखने में आए।
1 कुरिन्थियों 5:7-8

7. Unleauened bread shalbe eaten seuen dayes, and there shal no leauened bread be seene nor yet eaten with thee in al thy quarters.

8. और उस दिन तुम अपने अपने पुत्रों को यह कहके समझा देना, कि यह तो हम उसी काम के कारण करते हैं, जो यहोवा ने हमारे मि से निकल आने के समय हमारे लिये किया था।

8. And thou shalt shewe thy sonne in that day, saying: This is done because of that whiche the Lorde dyd vnto me when I came out of Egypt.

9. फिर यह तुम्हारे लिये तुम्हारे हाथ में एक चिन्ह होगा, और तुम्हारी आंखों के साम्हने स्मरण करानेवाली वस्तु ठहरे; जिस से यहोवा की व्यवस्था तुम्हारे मुंह पर रहे : क्योंकि यहोवा ने तुम्हें अपने बलवन्त हाथों से मि से निकाला है।
मत्ती 23:5

9. And it shalbe as a signe vnto thee vppon thyne hande, and as a remembraunce betweene thyne eyes, that the Lordes lawe may be in thy mouth: for in a strong hande the Lorde brought thee out of Egypt.

10. इस कारण तुम इस विधि को प्रति वर्ष नियत समय पर माना करना।।

10. Kepe therfore this ordinaunce in his season from yere to yere.

11. फिर जब यहोवा उस शपथ के अनुसार, जो उस ने तुम्हारे पुरखाओं से और तुम से भी खाई है, तुम्हे कनानियों के देश में पहुंचाकर उसको तुम्हें दे देगा,

11. And it wyll come to passe that ye Lord shal bryng the land of the Chanaanites, which he sware vnto thee and to thy fathers, and shall geue it thee.

12. तब तुम में से जितने अपनी अपनी मां के जेठे हों उनको, और तुम्हारे पशुओं में जो ऐसे हों उनको भी यहोवा के लिये अर्पण करना; सब नर बच्चे तो यहोवा के हैं।

12. And then thou shalt appoynt vnto the Lorde all that openeth the matrice, and euery firstlyng that commeth of a beast which thou hast, yf it be a male, it shalbe the Lordes.

13. और गदही के हर एक पहिलौठे की सन्ती मेम्ना देकर उसको छुड़ा लेना, और यदि तुम उसे छुड़ाना न चाहो तो उसका गला तोड़ देना। पर अपने सब पहिलौठे पुत्रों को बदला देकर छुड़ा लेना।

13. And euery firstlyng of an asse, thou shalt redeeme with a lambe: yf thou redeeme hym not, thou shalt breake his necke: All the first borne amongst thy chyldren also shalt thou bye out.

14. और आगे के दिनों में जब तुम्हारे पुत्रा तुम से पूछें, कि यह क्या है ? तो उन से कहना, कि यहोवा हम लोगों को दासत्व के घर से, अर्थात् मि देश से अपने हाथों के बल से निकाल लाया है।

14. And when thy sonne aske thee in time to come, saying: what is this? Thou shalt saye vnto hym: With a myghtie hande the Lorde brought vs out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

15. उस समय जब फिरौन ने कठोर होकर हम को जाने देना न चाहा, तब यहोवा ने मि देश में मनुष्य से लेकर पशु तक सब के पहिलौठों को मार डाला। इसी कारण पशुओं में से तो जितने अपनी अपनी मां के पहिलौठे नर हैं, उन्हें हम यहोवा के लिये बलि करते हैं; पर अपने सब जेठे पुत्रों को हम बदला देकर छुड़ा लेते हैं।

15. And when Pharao was very loth to let vs go, the Lorde slewe all the first borne in the lande of Egypt, aswell the first borne of man, as the firstlyng of beast: Therefore I sacrifice vnto the Lorde all the males that open the matrice: but all the first borne of my chyldren I redeeme.

16. और यह तुम्हारे हाथों पर एक चिन्ह सा और तुम्हारी भौहों के बीच टीका सा ठहरे; क्योंकि यहोवा हम लोगों को मि से अपने हाथों के बल से निकाल लाया है।।

16. This shalbe as a token vppon thyne hande, & as a remembraunce betweene thyne eyes, that the Lorde brought vs out of Egypt through a myghtie hande.

17. जब फिरौन ने लोगों को जाने की आज्ञा दे दी, तब यद्यपि पलिश्तियों के देश में होकर जो मार्ग जाता है वह छोटा था; तौभी परमेश्वर यह सोच कर उनको उस मार्ग से नहीं ले गया, कि कहीं ऐसा न हो कि जब ये लोग लड़ाई देखें तब पछताकर मि को लौट आएं।

17. It came to passe, that when Pharao had let the people go, God caryed them not through the way of the lande of the Philistines, which was the more nygh way. But God saide: lest peraduenture the people repent whe they see warre, and so turne agayne to Egypt.

18. इसलिये परमेश्वर उनको चक्कर खिलाकर लाल समुद्र के जंगल के मार्ग से ले चला। और इस्राएली पांति बान्धे हुए मि से निकल गए।

18. But God led the people about through the way of the wyldernesse of the redde sea, and the chyldren of Israel went vp harnessed out of the lande of Egypt.

19. और मूसा यूसुफ की हडि्डयों को साथ लेता गया; क्योंकि यूसुफ ने इस्राएलियों से यह कहके, कि परमेश्वर निश्चय तुम्हारी सुधि लेगा, उनको इस विषय की दृढ़ शपथ खिलाई थी, कि वे उसकी हडि्डयों को अपने साथ यहां से ले जाएंगे।
इब्रानियों 11:22

19. And Moyses toke the bones of Ioseph with him: for he made the children of Israel sweare, saying: God wyl surely visite you, and ye shall take my bones away hence with you.

20. फिर उन्हों ने सुक्कोत से कूच करके जंगल की छोर पर एताम में डेरा किया।

20. And they toke their iourney from Sucoth, and abode in Etham in the edge of the wyldernesse.

21. और यहोवा उन्हें दिन को मार्ग दिखाने के लिये मेघ के खम्भे में, और रात को उजियाला देने के लिये आग के खम्भे में होकर उनके आगे आगे चला करता था, जिससे वे रात और दिन दोनों में चल सकें।
1 कुरिन्थियों 10:1

21. And the Lorde went before them by day in a pyller of a cloude to leade them the way, and by nyght in a pyller of fire to geue them lyght, that they myght go both by day and nyght.

22. उस ने न तो बादल के खम्भे को दिन में और न आग के खम्भे को रात में लोगों के आगे से हटाया।।
1 कुरिन्थियों 10:1

22. The piller of the cloude departed not by daye, nor the pyller of fire by nyght, out of the syght of the people.
