1. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, एक और विपत्ति मैं फिरौन और मि देश पर डालता हूं, उसके पश्चात् वह तुम लोगों को वहां से जाने देगा; और जब वह जाने देगा तब तुम सभों को निश्चय निकाल देगा।

1. And the LORD said unto Moses, I will bring one more plague upon Pharaoh and upon Egypt, after which he will let you go from here; when he shall let [you] go, he shall surely thrust you out of here altogether.

2. मेरी प्रजा को मेरी यह आज्ञा सुना, कि एक एक पुरूष अपने अपने पड़ोसी, और एक एक स्त्री अपनी अपनी पड़ोसिन से सोने चांदी के गहने मांग ले।

2. Speak now to the people and let each man demand of his neighbour and each woman of her neighbour, vessels of silver and of gold.

3. तब यहोवा ने मिस्त्रियों को अपनी प्रजा पर दयालु किया। और इससे अधिक वह पुरूष मूसा मि देश में फिरौन के कर्मचारियों और साधारण लोगों की दृष्टि में अति महान था।।

3. And the LORD gave the people grace in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses [was] very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.

4. फिर मूसा ने कहा, यहोवा इस प्रकार कहता है, कि आधी रात के लगभग मैं मि देश के बीच में होकर चलूंगा।

4. And Moses said, The LORD hath said thus, About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt,

5. तब मि में सिंहासन पर विराजने वाले फिरौन से लेकर चक्की पीसनेवाली दासी तक के पहिलौठे; वरन पशुओं तक के सब पहिलौठे मर जाएंगे।

5. and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sits upon his throne even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that [is] behind the mill and all the firstborn of beasts.

6. और सारे मि देश में बड़ा हाहाकार मचेगा, यहां तक कि उसके समान न तो कभी हुआ और न होगा।

6. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there has never been [one] like it, nor shall [there] ever be any like it again.

7. पर इस्राएलियों के विरूद्ध, क्या मनुष्य क्या पशु, किसी पर कोई कुत्ता भी न भोंकेगा; जिस से तुम जान लो कि मिस्त्रियों और इस्राएलियों में मैं यहोवा अन्तर करता हूं।

7. But among all the sons of Israel, from man to beast, not a dog shall move his tongue, that ye may know that the LORD shall make a difference between the Egyptians and the Israelites.

8. तब तेरे ये सब कर्मचारी मेरे पास आ मुझे दण्डवत् करके यह कहेंगे, कि अपने सब अनुचरों समेत निकल जा। और उसके पश्चात् मैं निकल जाऊंगा। यह कह कर मूसा बड़े क्रोध में फिरौन के पास से निकल गया।।

8. And all these thy servants shall come down unto me and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Go out, and all the people that follow thee; and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.

9. यहोवा ने मूसा से कह दिया था, कि फिरौन तुम्हारी न सुनेगा; क्योंकि मेरी इच्छा है कि मि देश में बहुत से चमत्कार करूं।

9. And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.

10. मूसा और हारून ने फिरौन के साम्हने ये सब चमत्कार किए; पर यहोवा ने फिरौन का मन और कठोर कर दिया, सो उसने इस्राएलियों को अपने देश से जाने न दिया।।

10. And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: but the LORD had hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the sons of Israel go out of his land.:
