1. उसकी नेव पवित्रा पर्वतों में है;

2. और यहोवा सिरयोन के फाटकों को याकूब के सारे निवासों से बढ़कर प्रीति रखता है।

2. the LORD loveth the gates of Sion more, than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3. हे परमेश्वर के नगर, तेरे विषय महिमा की बातें कही गई हैं।

3. Very excellent things are spoken of thee, thou city of God. Selah.

4. मैं अपने जान- पहचानवालों से रहब और बाबेल की भी चर्चा करूंगा; पलिश्त, सोर और कूश को देखो, यह वहां उत्पन्न हुआ था।

4. I will think upon Rahab and Babylon, so that they shall know me. Yea the Philistines also, and they of Tyre, with the Morians. Lo there was he born.

5. और सिरयोन के विषय में यह कहा जाएगा, कि अमुक अमुक मनुष्य उस में उत्पन्न हुआ था; और परमप्रधान आप ही उसको स्थिर रखेगा।

5. And of Sion it shall be reported, that he was born in her, even the most highest(hyest) which hath builded her.

6. यहोेवा जब देश देश के लोगों के नाम लिखकर गिन लेगा, तब यह कहेगा, कि यह वहां उत्पन्न हुआ था।।

6. The LORD shall cause it to be preached and written among the people, that he was born there. Selah.

7. गवैये और नृतक दोनों कहेंगे कि हमारे सब सोते तुझी में पाए जाते हैं।।

7. Therefore the dwelling of all singers and dancers is in thee.
