1. हे सेनाओं के यहोवा, तेरे निवास क्या ही प्रिय हैं!

1. To the chief Musician. Upon the Gittith. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Jehovah of hosts!

2. मेरा प्राण यहोवा के आंगनों की अभिलाषा करते करते मूर्र्छित हो चला; मेरा तन मन दोंनो जीवते ईश्वर को पुकार रहे।।

2. My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living *God.

3. हे सेनाओं के यहोवा, हे मेरे राजा, और मेरे परमेश्वर, तेरी वेदियों मे गौरैया ने अपना बसेरा और शूपाबेनी ने घोंसला बना लिया है जिस में वह अपने बच्चे रखे।

3. Yea, the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she layeth her young, thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts, my King and my God.

4. क्या ही धन्य हैं वे, जो तेरे भवन में रहते हैं; वे तेरी स्तुति निरन्तर करते रहेंगे।।

4. Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be constantly praising thee. Selah.

5. क्या ही धन्य है, वह मनुष्य जो तुझ से शक्ति पाता है, और वे जिनको सिरयोन की सड़क की सुधि रहती है।

5. Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee, -- they, in whose heart are the highways.

6. वें रोने की तराई में जाते हुए उसको सोतों का स्थान बनाते हैं; फिर बरसात की अगली वृष्टि उसमें आशीष ही आशीष उपजाती है।

6. Passing through the valley of Baca, they make it a well-spring; yea, the early rain covereth it with blessings.

7. वे बल पर बल पाते जाते हैं; उन में से हर एक जन सिरयोन में परमेश्वर को अपना मुंह दिखाएगा।।

7. They go from strength to strength: [each one] will appear before God in Zion.

8. हे सेनाओं के परमेश्वर यहोवा, मेरी प्रार्थना सुन, हे याकूब के परमेश्वर, कान लगा!

8. Jehovah, God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

9. हे परमेश्वर, हे हमारी ढ़ाल, दृष्टि कर; और अपने अभिषिक्ति का मुख देख!

9. Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

10. क्योंकि तेरे आंगनों में का एक दिन और कहीं के हजार दिन से उत्तम है। दुष्टों के डेरों में वास करने से अपने परमेश्वर के भवन की डेवढ़ी पर खड़ा रहना ही मुझे अधिक भावता है।

10. For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God, than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11. क्योंकि यहोवा परमेश्वर सूर्य और ढाल है; यहोवा अनुग्रह करेगा, और महिमा देगा; और जो लोग खरी चाल चलते हैं; उन से वह कोई अच्छा पदार्थ रख न छोड़ेगा।

11. For Jehovah Elohim is a sun and shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12. हे सेनाओं के यहोवा, क्या ही धन्य वह मनुष्य है, जो तुझ पर भरोसा रखता है!

12. Jehovah of hosts, blessed is the man that confideth in thee!
