1. हे परमेश्वर, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर, क्योंकि मैं तेरा शरणागत हूं; और जब तक ये आपत्तियां निकल न जाएं, तब तक मैं तेरे पंखों के तले शरण लिए रहूंगा।

1. [To the chiefe musition (to be song lyke vnto the song beginning) destroy not, a golden psalme of Dauid, when he fled from Saul into the caue.] Be mercifull vnto me O Lorde, be mercifull vnto me: for my soule trusteth in thee, and vnder the shadowe of thy wynges wyll I trust, vntyll this tiranny be ouerpast.

2. मैं परम प्रधान परमेश्वर को पुकारूंगा, ईश्वर को जो मेरे लिये सब कुछ सिद्ध करता है।

2. I wyll call vnto the most high Lorde: euen vnto the Lord that wil perfourme the cause which I haue in hande.

3. ईश्वर स्वर्ग से भेजकर मुझे बचा लेगा, जब मेरा निगलनेवाला निन्दा कर रहा हो। परमेश्वर अपनी करूणा और सच्चाई प्रगट करेगा।।

3. He wyll sende from heauen, and saue me from the reproofe of him that woulde deuour me vp, Selah: the Lorde wyll sende foorth his mercie and trueth.

4. मेरा प्राण सिंहों के बीच में है, मुझे जलते हुओं के बीच में लेटना पड़ता है, अर्थात् ऐसे मनुष्यों के बीच में जिन के दांत बर्छी और तीर हैं, और जिनकी जीभ तेज तलवार है।।

4. My soule is among Lions, and I lye among those that are set on fire: among the children of men whose teeth are speares and arrowes, and their tongue a sharpe sword.

5. हे परमेश्वर तू स्वर्ग के ऊपर अति महान और तेजोमय है, तेरी महिमा सारी पृथ्वी के ऊपर फैल जाए!

5. Exalt thy selfe O God aboue the heauen: thy glory is aboue all the earth.

6. उन्हों ने मेरे पैरों के लिये जाल लगाया है; मेरा प्राण ढला जाता है। उन्हों ने मेरे आगे गड़हा खोदा, परन्तु आप ही उस में गिर पड़े।।

6. They haue prepared a net for my feete, that some man might presse downe my soule: they haue digged a pit before me, and are fallen into the midst of it them selues. Selah.

7. हे परमेश्वर, मेरा मन स्थिर है, मेरा मन स्थिर है; मैं गाऊंगा वरन भजन कीर्तन करूंगा।

7. My heart is redy O Lorde, my heart is redy: I wyll sing, and prayse thee in singing of psalmes.

8. हे मेरी आत्मा जाग जा! हे सारंगी और वीणा जाग जाओ। मैं भी पौ फटते ही जाग उठूंगा।

8. Bestirre thee O my glory, bestirre thee O Lute and Harpe: I my selfe wil bestirre me right early in the morning.

9. हे प्रभु, मैं देश के लोगों के बीच तेरा धन्यवाद करूंगा; मैं राज्य राज्य के लोगों के बीच में तेरा भजन गाऊंगा।

9. I wyll prayse thee O Lorde among the people: and I wyll sing psalmes vnto thee among the nations.

10. क्योंकि तेरी करूणा स्वर्ग तक बड़ी है, और तेरी सच्चाई आकाशमण्डल तक पहुंचती है।।

10. For the greatnes of thy mercie reacheth vnto the heauens: and thy trueth vnto the cloudes.

11. हे परमेश्वर, तू स्वर्ग के ऊपर अति महान है! तेरी महिमा सारी पृथ्वी के ऊपर फैल जाए!

11. Exalt thy selfe O Lord aboue the heauens: let thy glory be aboue al the earth.
