1. हे परमेश्वर, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर, क्योंकि मैं तेरा शरणागत हूं; और जब तक ये आपत्तियां निकल न जाएं, तब तक मैं तेरे पंखों के तले शरण लिए रहूंगा।

2. मैं परम प्रधान परमेश्वर को पुकारूंगा, ईश्वर को जो मेरे लिये सब कुछ सिद्ध करता है।

2. Show me favor, God, show me favor; for in you I have taken refuge. Yes, I will find refuge in the shadow of your wings until the storms have passed.

3. ईश्वर स्वर्ग से भेजकर मुझे बचा लेगा, जब मेरा निगलनेवाला निन्दा कर रहा हो। परमेश्वर अपनी करूणा और सच्चाई प्रगट करेगा।।

3. I call to God, the Most High, to God, who is accomplishing his purpose for me.

4. मेरा प्राण सिंहों के बीच में है, मुझे जलते हुओं के बीच में लेटना पड़ता है, अर्थात् ऐसे मनुष्यों के बीच में जिन के दांत बर्छी और तीर हैं, और जिनकी जीभ तेज तलवार है।।

4. He will send from heaven and save me when those who would trample me down mock me. ([Selah]) God will send his grace and his truth.

5. हे परमेश्वर तू स्वर्ग के ऊपर अति महान और तेजोमय है, तेरी महिमा सारी पृथ्वी के ऊपर फैल जाए!

5. I am surrounded by lions, I am lying down among people breathing fire, men whose teeth are spears and arrows and their tongues sharp-edged swords.

6. उन्हों ने मेरे पैरों के लिये जाल लगाया है; मेरा प्राण ढला जाता है। उन्हों ने मेरे आगे गड़हा खोदा, परन्तु आप ही उस में गिर पड़े।।

6. Be exalted, God, above heaven! May your glory be over all the earth!

7. हे परमेश्वर, मेरा मन स्थिर है, मेरा मन स्थिर है; मैं गाऊंगा वरन भजन कीर्तन करूंगा।

7. They prepared a snare for my feet, but I am bending over [[to avoid it]]. They dug a pit ahead of me, but they fell into it themselves. ([Selah)]

8. हे मेरी आत्मा जाग जा! हे सारंगी और वीणा जाग जाओ। मैं भी पौ फटते ही जाग उठूंगा।

8. My heart is steadfast, God, steadfast. I will sing and make music.

9. हे प्रभु, मैं देश के लोगों के बीच तेरा धन्यवाद करूंगा; मैं राज्य राज्य के लोगों के बीच में तेरा भजन गाऊंगा।

9. Awake, my glory! Awake, lyre and lute! I will awaken the dawn.

10. क्योंकि तेरी करूणा स्वर्ग तक बड़ी है, और तेरी सच्चाई आकाशमण्डल तक पहुंचती है।।

10. I will thank you, [Adonai], among the peoples; I will make music to you among the nations.

11. हे परमेश्वर, तू स्वर्ग के ऊपर अति महान है! तेरी महिमा सारी पृथ्वी के ऊपर फैल जाए!

11. For your grace is great, all the way to heaven, and your truth, all the way to the skies.
