1. याह की स्तुति करो! क्योंकि अपने परमेश्वर का भजन गाना अच्छा है; क्योंकि वह मनभावना है, उसकी स्तुति करनी मनभावनी है।

1. Praise Jehovah; for it is good to sing praise to our God; because praise is delightful and becoming.

2. यहोवा यरूशलेम को बसा रहा है; वह निकाले हुए इस्राएलियों को इकट्ठा कर रहा है।

2. Jehovah builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel.

3. वह खेदित मनवालों को चंगा करता है, और उनके शोक पर मरहम- पट्टी बान्धता है।

3. He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their sorrows.

4. वह तारों को गिनता, और उन में से एक एक का नाम रखता है।

4. He appoints the number of the stars; He calls to them all by names.

5. हमारा प्रभु महान और अति सामर्थी है; उसकी बुद्धि अपरम्पार है।

5. Our Lord is great and of great might; there is no limit to His understanding.

6. यहोवा नम्र लोगों को सम्भलता है, और दुष्टों को भूमि पर गिरा देता है।।

6. Jehovah relieves the meek; He throws the wicked down to the ground.

7. धन्यवाद करते हुए यहोवा का गीत गाओ; वीणा बजाते हुए हमारे परमेश्वर का भजन गाओ।

7. Sing to Jehovah with thanksgiving; sing praise on the lyre to our God,

8. वह आकाश को मेघों से छा देता है, और पृथ्वी के लिये मेंह की तैयारी करता है, और पहाड़ों पर घास उगाता है।

8. who covers the heavens with clouds; who prepares rain for the earth; who makes grass to grow on the mountains.

10. He takes no delight in the strength of the horse, nor any pleasure in the legs of a man.

11. यहोवा अपने डरवैयों ही से प्रसन्न होता है, अर्थात् उन से जो उसकी करूणा की आशा लगाए रहते हैं।।

11. Jehovah takes pleasure in those who fear Him, those who hope in His mercy.

12. हे यरूशलेम, यहोवा की प्रशंसा कर! हे सिरयोन, अपने परमेश्वर की स्तुति कर!

12. Praise Jehovah, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion.

13. क्योंकि उस ने तेरे फाटकों के खम्भों को दृढ़ किया है; और तेरे लड़के बालों को आशीष दी है।

13. For He has made strong the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you.

14. और तेरे सिवानों में शान्ति देता है, और तुझ को उत्तम से उत्तम गेहूं से तृप्त करता है।

14. He sets up peace in your border, He satisfies you with the fat of the wheat.

15. वह पृथ्वी पर अपनी आज्ञा का प्रचार करता है, उसका वचन अति वेग से दौड़ता है।

15. He sends His command out on the earth; His Word runs very swiftly;

16. वह ऊन के समान हिम को गिराता है, और राख की नाईं पाला बिखेरता है।

16. He gives snow like wool; He scatters the white frost like ashes;

17. वह बर्फ के टुकड़े गिराता है, उसकी की हुई ठण्ड को कौन सह सकता है?

17. He casts out His ice like crumbs; who can stand before His cold?

18. वह आज्ञा देकर उन्हें गलाता है; वह वायु बहाता है, तब जल बहने लगता है।

18. He sends out His Word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.
