1. प्रजा के हाकिम तो यरूशलेम में रहते थे, और शेष लोगों ने यह ठहराने के लिये चिटि्ठयां डालीं, कि दस में से एक मनुष्य यरूशलेम में, जो पवित्रा नगर है, बस जाएं; और नौ मनुष्य और और नगरों में बसें।
मत्ती 4:5

1. And the rulers of the people dwelt in Jerusalem, and, the rest of the people, cast lots, to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts in other cities.

2. और जिन्हों ने अपनी ही इच्छा से यरूशलेम में वास करना चाहा उन सभों को लोगों ने आशिर्वाद दिया।

2. And the people bestowed a blessing on all the men, who willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.

3. उस प्रान्त के मुख्य मुख्य पुरूष जो यरूशलेम में रहते थे, वे ये हैं; (परन्तु यहूदा के नगरों में एक एक मनुष्य अपनी निज भूमि में रहता था; अर्थात् इस्राएली, याजक, लेवीय, नतीन और सुलैमान के दासों के सन्तान )

3. Now, these, are the chiefs of the province, who dwelt in Jerusalem, but, in the cities of Judah, dwelt every man in his possession throughout their cities, Israel, the priests, and the Levites and the Nethinim, and the Sons of the Servants of Solomon.

4. यरूशलेम में तो कुछ यहूदी और बिन्यामीनी रहते थे। यहूदियों में से तो येरेस के वंश का अतायाह जो अज्जिरयाह का पुत्रा था, यह जकर्याह का पुत्रा, यह अमर्याह का पुत्रा, यह शपत्याह का पुत्रा, यह महललेल का पुत्रा था।

4. And, in Jerusalem, dwelt certain of the sons of Judah and of the sons of Benjamin, Of the sons of Judah, Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalalel, of the sons of Perez;

5. और मासेयाह जो बारूक का पुत्रा था, यह कोलहोजे का पुत्रा, यह हजायाह का पुत्रा, यह अदायाह का पुत्रा, यह योयारीब का पुत्रा, यह जकर्याह का पुत्रा, यह और यह शीलोई का पुत्रा था।

5. and Maaseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Joiarib, son of Zechariah, son of the Shilonite.

6. पेरेस के वंश के जो यरूशलेम में रहते थे, वह सब मिलाकर चार सौ अड़सठ शूरवीर थे।

6. All the sons of Perez who were dwelling in Jerusalem, four hundred and sixty-eight, men of ability.

7. और बिन्यामीनियों में से सल्लू जो मशुल्लाम का पुत्रा था, यह योएद का पुत्रा, यह पदायाह का पुत्रा था, यह कोलायाह का पुत्रा यह मासेयाह का पुत्रा, यह इतीएह का पुत्रा, यह यशायाह का पुत्रा था।

7. And, these, are the sons of Benjamin, Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jeshaiah;

8. और उसके बाद गब्यै सल्लै जिनके साथ नौ सौ अट्ठाईस पुरूष थे।

8. and, after him, Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred and twenty-eight.

9. इनका रखवाल जिक्री का पुत्रा योएल था, और हस्सनूआ का पुत्रा यहूदा नगर के प्रधान का नायब था।

9. And, Joel son of Zichri, was in charge over them, and, Judah son of Hassenuah, was over the city, as second.

10. फिर याजकों में से योयारीब का पुत्रा यदायाह और याकीन।

10. Of the priests, Jedaiah son of Joiarib, Jachin;

11. और सरायाह जो परमेश्वर के भवन का प्रधान और हिल्किरयाह का पुत्रा था, यह मशुल्लाम का पुत्रा, यह सादोक का पुत्रा, यह मरायोत का पुत्रा, यह अहीतूब का पुत्रा था।

11. Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, chief ruler of the house of God;

12. और इनके आठ सौ बाईस भाई जो उस भवन का काम करते थे; और अदायाह, जो यरोहाम का पुत्रा था, यह पलल्याह का वुत्रा, यह अम्सी का पुत्रा, यह जकर्याह का पुत्रा, यह पशहूर का पुत्रा, यह मल्किरयाह का पुत्रा था।

12. and their brethren who were doing the work of the house, eight hundred and twenty-two, and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah;

13. और इसके दो सौ बयालीस भाई जो पितरों के घरानों के प्रधान थे; और अमशै जो अजरेल का पुत्रा था, यह अहजै का पुत्रा, यह मशिल्लेमोत का पुत्रा, यह इम्मेर का पुत्रा था।

13. and his brethren, ancestral chiefs, two hundred and forty-two, and Amashsai son of Azarel, son of Ahzai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer;

14. और इनके एक सौ अट्ठाईस शूरवीर भाई थे और इनका रखवाल हग्गदोलीम का पुत्रा जब्दीएल था।

14. and their brethren, strong men of ability, a hundred and twenty-eight, and, he who was in charge of them, was Zabdiel, son of Haggedolim.

15. फिर लेवियों में से शमायाह जो हश्शूब का पुत्रा था, यह अज्रीकाम का पुत्रा, यह हुशब्याह का पुत्रा, यह बुन्नी का पुत्रा था।

15. And, of the Levites, Shemaiah son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni;

16. ओर शब्बत और योजाबाद मुख्य लेवियों में से परमेश्वर के भवन के बाहरी काम पर ठहरे थे।

16. and Shabbethai and Jozabad, over the outside business of the house of God, of the chiefs of the Levites;

17. और मत्तन्याह जो मीका का पुत्रा और जब्दी का पोता, और आसाप का परपोता था; वह प्रार्थना में धन्यवाद करनेवालों का मुखिया था, और बकबुक्याह अपने भाइयों में दूसरा पद रखता था; और अब्दा जो शम्मू का पुत्रा, और गालाल का पोता, और यदूतून का परपोता था।

17. and Mattaniah son of Mica, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, leader of the praise who giveth thanks, in prayer, and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Obadiah son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun.

18. जो लेवीय पवित्रा नगर में रहते थे, वह सब मिलाकर दो सौ चौरासी थे।

18. All the Levites in the holy city, were two hundred and eighty-four.

19. और अक्कूब और तल्मोन नाम द्वारपाल और उनके भाई जो फाटकों के रखवाले थे, एक सौ बहत्तर थे।

19. And, the door-keepers Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren who were keeping watch in the gates, were a hundred and seventy-two.

20. और शेष इस्राएली याजक और लेवीय, यहूदा के सब नगरों में अपने अपने भाग पर रहते थे।

20. But, the residue of Israel, the priests, the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.

21. और नतीन लोग ओपेल में रहते; और नतिनों के ऊपर सीहा, और गिश्पा ठहराए गए थे।

21. Howbeit, the Nethinim, were dwelling in Ophel, and, Ziha and Gishpa, were over the Nethinim.

22. और जो लेवीय यरूशलेम में रहकर परमेश्वर के भवन के काम में लगे रहते थे, उनका मुखिया आसाप के वंश के गवैयों में का उज्जी था, जो बानी का पुत्रा था, यह हशब्याह का पुत्रा, यह मत्तन्याह का पुत्रा और यह हशब्याह का पुत्रा था।

22. And, the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem, was Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph the singers, to take lead in the business of the house of God.

23. क्योंकि उनके विषय राजा की आज्ञा थी, और गवैयों के प्रतिदिन के प्रयोजन के अनुसार ठीक प्रबन्ध था।

23. For, the commandment of the king, was upon them, as to a fixed provision for the singers, the need of a day upon its day.

24. और प्रजा के सब काम के लिये मशेजबेल का पुत्रा पतह्माह जो यहूदा के पुत्रा जेरह के वंश में था, वह राजा के पास रहता था।

24. And, Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, of the sons of Zerah, son of Judah, was at the hand of the king, in every matter pertaining to the people.

25. बच गए गांव और उनके खेत, सो कुछ यहूदी किर्यतर्बा, और उनके गांव में, कुछ दीबोन, और उसके गांवों में, कुछ यकब्सेल और उसके गांवों में रहते थे।

25. And, as for the villages in their fields, some of the sons of Judah, dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and the hamlets thereof, and in Dibon, and the hamlets thereof, and in Jekabzeel, and the villages thereof;

26. फिर येशू, मोलादा, बेत्पेलेत;

26. and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-pelet;

27. हमर्शूआल, और बेर्शेबा और और उसके गांवों में;

27. and in Hazar-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and the hamlets thereof;

28. और सिकलग और मकोना और उनके गांवों में;

28. and in Ziklag, and in Meconah, and in the hamlets thereof,

29. एन्निम्मोन, सोरा, यर्मूत,

29. and in En-rimmmon, and in Zorah, and in Jarmuth;

30. जानोह और अदूल्लाम और उनके गांवों में, लाकीश, और उसके खेतों में अजेका, और उसके गांवों में वे बेर्शेबा से ले हिन्नोम की तराई तक डेरे डाले हुए रहते थे।

30. Zanoah, Adullam and their villages, Lachish, and the fields thereof, Azekah, and the hamlets thereof, so they encamped from Beer-sheba, unto the valley of Hinnom.

31. और बिन्यामीनी गेबा से लेकर मिकमश, अरया और बेतेल और उसके गांवों में;

31. And, the sons of Benjamin, dwelt from Geba, to Michmas and Aija, and Bethel, and the hamlets thereof:

32. अनातोत, नोब, अनन्याह,

32. Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah;

33. हासोर, रामा, गित्तैम,

33. Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim;

34. हादीद, सबोईम, नबल्लत,

34. Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat;

35. लोद, ओनो और कारीगरों की तराई तक रहते थे।

35. Lod and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.

36. और कितने लेवियों के दल यहूदा और बिन्यामीन के प्रान्तों में बस गए।

36. Howbeit, of the Levites, certain courses of Judah, pertained unto Benjamin.
