1. और सिदकिरयाह ने बाबेल के राजा से बलवा किया। उसके राज्य के नौवें वर्ष के दसवें महीने के दसवें दिन को बाबेल के राजा नबूकदनेस्सर ने अपनी पूरी सेना लेकर यरूशलेम पर चढ़ाई की, और उसके पास छावनी करके उसके चारों ओर कोट बनाए।

1. And it fortuned, that in ye nyenth yeare of his reigne, vpon the tenth daye of the tenth moneth, Nabuchodonosor the kynge of Babilon came with all his power agaynst Ierusalem. And they laied sege vnto it, and buylded stronge holdes rounde aboute it.

2. और नगर सिदकिरयाह राजा के ग्यारहवें वर्ष तक घिरा हुआ रहा।

2. Thus was the cite beseged vnto the eleuenth yeare of kynge Sedechias.

3. चौथे महीने के नौवें दिन से नगर में महंगी यहां तक बढ़ गई, कि देश के लोगों के लिये कुछ खाने को न रहा।

3. But on ye nyenth daye of the fourth moneth was the honger so stronge in the cite, that the people of the londe had nothinge to eate.

4. तब नगर की शहरपनाह में दरार की गई, और दोनों भीतों के बीच जो फाटक राजा की बारी के निकट था उस मार्ग से सब योठ्ठा रात ही रात निकल भागे। कसदी तो नगर को घेरे हुए थे, परन्तु राजा ने अराबा का मार्ग लिया।

4. And the cite was broken vp, & all the men of warre fled in the night by the waye of the porte betwene the two walles, which goeth to the kynges garde. But the Caldees laye aboute the cite. And he fled by the waye to the playne felde.

5. तब कसदियों की सेना ने राजा का पीछा किया, और उसको यरीहो के पास के अराबा में जा लिया, और उसकी पूरी सेना उसके पास से तितर बितर हो गई।

5. Neuertheles the power of the Caldees folowed after the kynge, and toke him in the plaine felde of Iericho: and all the men of warre that were with him, were scatered abrode from him.

6. तब वे राजा को पकड़कर रिबला में बाबेल के राजा के पास ले गए, और उसे दणड की आज्ञा दी गई।

6. And they toke the kynge, and led him vp to the kynge of Babilon vnto Reblatha. And he gaue iudgmet vpon him.

7. और उन्हों ने सिदकिरयाह के पुत्रों को उसके साम्हने घात किया और सिदकिरयाह की आंखें फोड़ डालीं और उसे पीतल की बेड़ियों से जकड़कर बाबेल को ले गए।

7. And they slewe Ezechias children before his eyes, and put out Sedechias eies, and bounde him with cheynes, and caryed him vnto Babilon.

8. बाबेल के राजा नबूकदनेस्सर के उन्नीसवें वर्ष के पांचवें महीने के सातवें दिन को जल्लादों का प्रधान नबूजरदान जो बाबेल के राजा का एक कर्मचारी थ, यरूशलेम में आया।

8. Vpon the seuenth daye of the fyfth monet, that is the ninetenth yeare of Nabuchodonosor kynge of Babilon, came Nabusaradan the chefe captayne the kynge of Babilons seruaunt, vnto Ierusalem,

9. और उस ने यहोवा के भवन और राजभवन और यरूशलेम के सब घरों को अर्थात् हर एक बड़े घर को आग लगाकर फूंक दिया।

9. and brent ye house of the LORDE, and the kynges house, & all the houses at Ierusalem, and all the greate houses brent he with fyre.

10. और यरूशलेम के चारों ओर की सब शहरपनाह को कसदियो की पूरी सेना ने जो जल्लादों के प्रधान के संग थी ढा दिया।

10. And all the power of the Caldees which was with the chefe captayne, brake downe the walles rounde aboute Ierusalem.

11. और जो लोग नगर में रह गए थे, और जो लोग बाबेल के राजा के पास भाग गए थे, और साधारण लोग जो रह गए थे, इन सभें को जल्लादों का प्रधान नबूजरदान बन्धुआ करके ले गया।

11. As for the other people that yet were lefte in the cite, and were falle vnto the kinge of Babilon, and the other comen people, Nabusaradan the chefe captayne caryed them awaye.

12. परन्तु जल्लादों के प्रधान ने देश के कंगालों में से कितनों को दाख की बारियों की सेवा और काश्तकारी करने को छोड़ दिया।

12. And of the poorest people dyd the chefe captaine leaue in ye londe to be wynegardeners and plowmen.

13. और यहोवा के भ्वन में जो पीतल के खम्भे थे और कुर्सियां और पीतल का हौद जो यहोवा के भवन में था, इनको कसदी तोड़कर उनका पीतल बाबेल को ले गए।

13. But the brasen pilers in the house of the LORDE, and the seates, and the brasen lauer that was in the house of the LORDE, dyd ye Caldees breake downe, and caried the metall vnto Babilon.

14. और हण्डियों, फावड़ियों, चिमटों, धूपदानों और पीतल के सब पात्राों को जिन से सेवा टहल होती थी, वे ले गए।

14. And the pottes, shouels, fleshokes, spones, & all ye brasen vessell that was occupied in the seruyce, caried they awaye.

15. और करछे और कटोरियां जो सोने की थीं, और जो कुछ चान्दी का था, वह सब सोना, चान्दी, जल्लादों का प्रधान ले गया।

15. And ye chefe captayne toke awaye ye censors and basens yt were of golde and syluer,

16. दोनों खम्भे, एक हौद और जो कुर्सियां सुलैमान ने यहोवा के भवन के लिये बनाए थे, इन सब वस्तुओं का पीतल तौल से बाहर था।

16. two pilers, one lauer, and the seates yt Salomon had made for ye house of the LORDE. The metall of all these ornamentes coulde not be weyed.

17. एक एक खम्भे की ऊंचाई अठारह अठारह हाथ की थी और एक एक खम्भे के ऊपर तीन तीन हाथ ऊंची पीतल की एक एक कंगनी थी, और एक एक कंगनी पर चारों ओर जो जाली और अनार बने थे, वे सब पीतल के थे।

17. Eightene cubytes hye was one piler, and ye knoppe theron was of brasse also, & thre cubytes hye: & the rope and the pomgranates vpon the knoppe rounde aboute, were all of brasse. After the same maner was the other piler also with the rope.

18. और जल्लादों के प्रधान ने सरायाह महायाजक और उसके नीचे के याजक सपन्याह और तीनों द्वारपालों को पकड़ लिया।

18. And the chefe captayne toke Seraia the prest of the first course, & Sophony the prest of the seconde course, and thre dorekepers,

19. और नगर में से उस ने एक हाकिम को पकड़ा जो योद्वाओं के ऊपर था, और जो पुरूष राजा के सम्मुख रहा करते थे, उन में से पांच जन जो नगर में मिले, और सेनापति का मुन्शी जो लोगों को सेना में भरती किया करता था; और लोगों में से साठ पुरूष जो नगर में मिले।

19. and one chamberlayne out of the cite, which was appoynted ouer ye men of warre: and fyue men that were euer before the kynge, which were founde in the cite: and Sophar the captayne, which taught the people of ye londe to fighte: and thre score men of ye people of the londe, that were founde in the cite:

20. इनको जल्लादों का प्रधान नबूजरदान पकड़कर रिबला के राजा के पास ले गया।

20. these dyd Nabusaradan ye chefe captayne take, and broughte them to the kynge of Babilon vnto Reblatha.

21. तब बाबेल के राजा ने उन्हें हमात देश के रिबला में ऐसा मारा कि वे मर गए। यों यहूदी बन्धुआ बनके अपने देश से तिकाल दिए गए।

21. And the kynge of Babilon slewe them at Reblatha in ye londe of Hemath. Thus was Iuda caried awaye out of his awne londe.

22. और जो लोग यहूदा देश में रह गए, जिनको बाबेल के राजा नबूकदनेस्सर ने छोड़ दिया, उन पर उस ने अहीकाम के पुत्रा गदल्याह को जो शापान का पोता था अधिकारी ठहराया।

22. But ouer the remnaunt of the people in the londe of Iuda, whom Nabuchodonosor the kynge of Babilon lefte behynde, he set Godolias ye sonne of Ahicam ye sonne of Saphan.

23. जब दलों के सब प्रधानों ने अर्थात् नतन्याह के पुत्रा इश्माएल कारेहू के पुत्रा योहानान, नतोपाई, तन्हूमेत के पुत्रा सरायाह और किसी माकाई के पुत्रा याजन्याह ने और उनके जनों ने यह सुना, कि बाबेल के राजा ने गदल्याह को अधिकारी ठहराया है, तब वे अपने अपने जनों समेत मिस्पा में गदल्याह के पास आए।

23. Now wha all the captaynes of the soudyers, & the men herde, that the kynge of Babilon had made Godolias gouernoure, they came to Godolias vnto Mispa, namely, Ismael ye sonne of Nathanias, & Iohanna ye sonne Carea, & Seraia ye sonne of Tanhometh the Netopharite, & Iesanias ye sonne of Maechati wt their men.

24. और गदल्याह ने उन से और उनके जनों से शपथ खाकर कहा, कसदियों के सिपाहियों से न डरो, देश में रहते हुए बाबेल के राजा के अधीन रहो, तब नुम्हारा भला होगा।

24. And Godolias sware vnto them & to their men, & sayde vnto them: Feare not ye ye officers of the Caldees, tary in the londe, & submytte youre selues vnto the kynge of Babilon, & ye shal prospere.

25. परन्तु सातवें महीने में नतन्याह का पुत्रा इश्माएल, जो एलीशामा का पोता और राजवंश का था, उस ने दस जन संग ले गदल्याह के पास जाकर उसे ऐसा मारा कि वह मर गया, और जो यहूदी और कसदी उसके संग मिस्पा में रहते थे, उनको भी मार डाला।

25. But in the seueth moneth came Ismael the sonne of Nathanias the sonne of Elisama (of the kynges kynred) and ten men with him, and slewe Godolias, and the Iewes and Caldees that were with him at Mispa.

26. तब क्या छोटे क्या बड़े सारी प्रजा के लोग और दलों के प्रधान कसदियों के डर के मारे उठकर मिस्र में जाकर रहने लगे।

26. Then all the people gat them vp, both small and greate, and the captaynes of the hoost, and came in to Egipte, for they were afrayed of ye Caldees.

27. फिर यहूदा के राजा यहोयाकीन की बन्धुआई के तैंतीसवें वर्ष में अर्थात् जिस वर्ष में बाबेल का राजा एवील्मरोदक राजगद्दी पर विराजमान हुआ, उसी के बारहवें महीने के सत्ताईसवें दिन को उस ने यहूदा के राजा यहोयाकीन को बन्दीगृह से निकालकर बड़ा पद दिया।

27. Howbeit in the seuen and thirtieth yeare after that Ioachim the kynge of Iuda was caried awaye on the seuen and twenty daye of the twolueth moneth, Euilmerodach the kynge of Babilon in the first yeare of his reigne, lifte vp the heade of Ioachim ye kynge of Iuda out of preson,

28. और उस से मधुर मधुर वचन कहकर जो राजा उसके संग बाबेल में बन्धुए थे उनके सिंहासनों से उसके सिंहासन को अधिक ऊंचा किया,

28. and spake louyngly vnto him, and set his trone aboue ye trones of ye kynges that were with him at Babilon,

29. और उसके बन्दीगृह के वस्त्रा बदल दिए और उस ने जीवन भर नित्य राजा के सम्मुख भोजन किया।

29. and chaunged the clothes of his captiuyte. And he ate allwaye before him as longe as he lyued.

30. और प्रतिदिन के खर्च के लिये राजा के यहां से नित्य का क्षर्च ठहराया गया जो उसके जीवन भर लगातार उसे मिलता रहा।

30. And he appoynted him his porcion, which was euer geue him daylie of the kynge, as longe as he lyued.
