1. तब इस्राएल अपना सब कुछ लेकर कूच करके बेर्शेबा को गया, और वहां अपने पिता इसहाक के परमेश्वर को बलिदान चढ़ाए।

1. Then Israel tooke his iourney with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifice vnto the God of his father Izhak.

2. तब परमेश्वर ने इस्राएल से रात को दर्शन में कहा, हे याकूब हे याकूब। उस ने कहा, क्या आज्ञा।

2. And God spake vnto Israel in a vision by night, saying, Iaakob, Iaakob. Who answered, I am here.

3. उस ने कहा, मैं ईश्वर तेरे पिता का परमेश्वर हूं, तू मि में जाने से मत डर; क्योंकि मैं तुझ से वहां एक बड़ी जाति बनाऊंगा।

3. Then hee sayde, I am God, the God of thy father, feare not to goe downe into Egypt: for I will there make of thee a great nation.

4. मैं तेरे संग संग मि को चलता हूं; और मैं तुझे वहां से फिर निश्चय ले आऊंगा; और यूसुफ अपना हाथ तेरी आंखों पर लगाएगा।

4. I wil go downe with thee into Egypt, and I will also bring thee vp againe, and Ioseph shall put his hand vpon thine eyes.

5. तब याकूब बेर्शेबा से चला: और इस्राएल के पुत्रा अपने पिता याकूब, और अपने बाल- बच्चों, और स्त्रियों को उन गाड़ियों पर, जो फिरौन ने उनके ले आने को भेजी थी, चढ़ाकर चल पड़े।

5. Then Iaakob rose vp from Beer-sheba: and the sonnes of Israel caried Iaakob their father, and their children, and their wiues in the charets, which Pharaoh had sent to cary him.

6. और वे अपनी भेड़- बकरी, गाय- बैल, और कनान देश में अपने इकट्ठा किए हुए सारे धन को लेकर मि में आए।

6. And they tooke their cattell and their goods, which they had gotten in the lande of Canaan, and came into Egypt, both Iaakob and all his seede with him,

7. और याकूब अपने बेटे- बेटियों, पोते- पोतियों, निदान अपने वंश भर को अपने संग मि में ले आया।।

7. His sonnes and his sonnes sonnes with him, his daughters and his sonnes daughters, and al his seede brought he with him into Egypt.

8. याकूब के साथ जो इस्राएली, अर्थात् उसके बेटे, पोते, आदि मि में आए, उनके नाम ये हैं : याकूब का जेठा तो रूबेन था।

8. And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, euen Iaakob and his sonnes: Reuben, Iaakobs first borne.

9. और रूबेन के पुत्रा, हनोक, पललू, हेद्दॊन, और कर्म्मी थे।

9. And the sonnes of Reuben: Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.

10. और शिमोन के पुत्रा, यमूएल, यामीन, ओहद, याकीन, सोहर, और एक कनानी स्त्री से जन्मा हुआ शाऊल भी था।

10. And the sonnes of Simeon: Iemuel, and Iamin, and Ohad, and Iachin, and Zohar; and Shaul the sonne of a Canaanitish woman.

11. और लेवी के पुत्रा, गेर्शोन, कहात, और मरारी थे।

11. Also the sonnes of Leui: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

12. और यहूदा के एर, ओनान, शेला, पेरेस, और जेरह नाम पुत्रा हुए तो थे; पर एर और ओनान कनान देश में मर गए थे।

12. Also the sonnes of Iudah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zerah: (but Er and Onan died in ye land of Canaan) And the sonnes of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.

13. और इस्साकार के पुत्रा, तोला, पुब्बा, योब और शिम्रोन थे।

13. Also the sonnes of Issachar: Tola, and Phuuah, and Iob, and Shimron.

14. और जबूलून के पुत्रा, सेरेद, एलोन, और यहलेल थे।

14. Also the sonnes of Zebulun: Sered, and Elon, and Iahleel.

15. लिआ: के पुत्रा, जो याकूब से प नराम में उत्पन्न हुए थे, उनके बेटे पोते ये ही थे, और इन से अधिक उस ने उसके साथ एक बेटी दीना को भी जन्म दिया : यहां तक तो याकूब के सब वंशवाले तैंतीस प्राणी हुए।

15. These bee the sonnes of Leah, which shee bare vnto Iaakob in Padan Aram, with his daughter Dinah. All the soules of his sonnes and his daughters were thirtie and three.

16. फिर गाद के पुत्रा, सिरयोन, हाग्गी, शूनी, एसबोन, एरी, अरोदी, और अरेली थे।

16. Also the sonnes of Gad: Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.

17. और आशेर के पुत्रा, यिम्ना, यिश्वा, यिस्त्री, और बरीआ थे, और उनकी बहिन सेरह थी। और बरीआ के पुत्रा, हेबेर और मल्कीएल थे।

17. Also the sonnes of Asher: Iimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister. And the sonnes of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel.

18. जिल्पा, जिसे लाबान ने अपनी बेटी लिआ' को दिया था, उसके बेटे पोते आदि ये ही थे; सो उसके द्वारा याकूब के सोलह प्राणी उत्पन्न हुए।।

18. These are the children of Zilpah, whome Laban gaue to Leah his daughter: and these shee bare vnto Iaakob, euen sixtene soules.

19. फिर याकूब की पत्नी राहेल के पुत्रा यूसुफ और बिन्यामीन थे।

19. The sonnes of Rahel Iaakobs wife were Ioseph and Beniamin.

20. और मि देश में ओन के याजक पोतीपेरा की बेटी आसनत से यूसुफ के ये पुत्रा उत्पन्न हुए, अर्थात् मनश्शे और एप्रैम।

20. And vnto Ioseph in the lande of Egypt were borne Manasseh, and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah prince of On bare vnto him.

21. और बिन्यामीन के पुत्रा, बेला, बेकेर, अश्बेल, गेरा, नामान, एही, रोश, मुप्पीम, हुप्पीम, और आर्द थे।

21. Also the sonnes of Beniamin: Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.

22. राहेल के पुत्रा जो याकूब से उत्पन्न हुए उनके ये ही पुत्रा थे; उसके ये सब बेटे पोते चौदह प्राणी हुए।

22. These are the sonnes of Rahel, which were borne vnto Iaakob, fourteene soules in all.

23. फिर दान का पुत्रा हुशीम था।

23. Also the sonnes of Dan: Hushim.

24. और नप्ताली के पुत्रा, यहसेल, गूनी, सेसेर, और शिल्लेम थे।

24. Also the sonnes of Naphtali: Iahzeel, and Guni, and Iezer, and Shillem.

25. बिल्हा, जिसे लाबान ने अपनी बेटी राहेल को दिया, उस के बेटे पोते ये ही हैं; उसके द्वारा याकूब के वंश में सात प्राणी हुए।

25. These are the sonnes of Bilhah, which Laban gaue vnto Rahel his daughter, and shee bare these to Iaakob, in all, seuen soules.

26. याकूब के निज वंश के जो प्राणी मि में आए, वे उसकी बहुओं को छोड़ सब मिलकर छियासठ प्राणी हुए।

26. Al the soules, that came with Iaakob into Egypt, which came out of his loynes (beside Iaakobs sonnes wiues) were in the whole, three score and sixe soules.

27. और यूसुफ के पुत्रा, जो मि में उस से उत्पन्न हुए, वे दो प्राणी थे : इस प्रकार याकूब के घराने के जो प्राणी मि में आए सो सब मिलकर सत्तर हुए।।

27. Also the sonnes of Ioseph, which were borne him in Egypt, were two soules: so that al the soules of the house of Iaakob, which came into Egypt, are seuentie.

28. फिर उस ने यहूदा को अपने आगे यूसुफ के पास भेज दिया, कि वह उसको गोशेन का मार्ग दिखाए; और वे गोशेन देश में आए।

28. The he sent Iudah before him vnto Ioseph, to direct his way vnto Goshen, and they came into the land of Goshen.

29. तब यूसुफ अपना रथ जुतवाकर अपने पिता इस्राएल से भेंट करने के लिये गोशेन देश को गया, और उस से भेंट करके उसके गले से लिपटा हुआ रोता रहा।

29. Then Ioseph made ready his charet and went vp to Goshen to meete Israel his father, and presented himselfe vnto him and fel on his necke, and wept vpon his necke a good while.

30. तब इस्राएल ने यूसुफ से कहा, मै अब मरने से भी प्रसन्न हूं, क्योंकि तुझे जीवित पाया और तेरा मुंह देख लिया।

30. And Israel sayde vnto Ioseph, Now let me die, since I haue seene thy face, and that thou art yet aliue.

31. तब यूसुफ ने अपने भाइयों से और अपने पिता के घराने से कहा, मैं जाकर फिरौन को यह समाचार दूंगा, कि मेरे भाई और मेरे पिता के सारे घराने के लोग, जो कनान देश में रहते थे, वे मेरे पास आ गए हैं।

31. Then Ioseph said to his brethren, and to his fathers house, I wil go vp and shew Pharaoh, and tell him, My brethren and my fathers house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come vnto me,

32. और वे लोग चरवाहे हैं, क्योंकि वे पशुओं को पालते आए हैं; इसलिये वे अपनी भेड़- बकरी, गाय- बैल, और जो कुछ उनका है, सब ले आए हैं।

32. And the men are shepheardes, and because they are shepheardes, they haue brought their sheepe and their cattell, and all that they haue.

33. जब फिरौन तुम को बुलाके पूछे, कि तुम्हारा उद्यम क्या है?

33. And if Pharaoh call you, and aske you, What is your trade?

34. तब यह कहना कि तेरे दास लड़कपन से लेकर आज तक पशुओं को पालते आए हैं, वरन हमारे पुरखा भी ऐसा ही करते थे। इस से तुम गोशेन देश में रहने पाओगे; क्योंकि सब चरवाहों से मिद्दी लोग घृणा करते हैं।।

34. Then ye shall say, Thy seruants are men occupied about cattell, from our childehood euen vnto this time, both we and our fathers: that yee may dwell in the lande of Goshen: for euery sheepe keeper is an abomination vnto the Egyptians.
