1. जो विश्वास के निर्बल है, उसे अपनी संगति में ले लो; परन्तु उसी शंकाओं पर विवाद करने के लिये नहीं।

1. Him that is weake in the fayth receave vnto you not in disputynge and troublynge his conscience.

2. क्योंकि एक को विश्वास है, कि सब कुछ खाना उचित है, परन्तु जो विश्वास में निर्बल है, वह साग पात ही खाता है।
उत्पत्ति 1:29, उत्पत्ति 9:3

2. One beleveth that he maye eate all thinge. Another which is weake eateth earbes.

3. और खानेवाला न- खानेवाले को तुच्छ न जाने, और न- खानेवाला खानेवाले पर दोष न लगाए; क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने उसे ग्रहण किया है।

3. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not. And let not him whiche eateth not iudge him that eateth. For God hath receaved him.

4. तू कौन है जो दूसरे के सेवक पर दोष लगाता है? उसक स्थिर रहता या गिर जाना उसके स्वामी ही से सम्बन्ध रखता है, बरन वह स्थिर ही कर दिया जाएगा; क्योंकि प्रभु उसे स्थिर रख सकता है।

4. What arte thou that iudgest another manes servaut? Whether he stonde or faule that pertayneth vnto his master: ye he shall stonde. For God is able to make him stonde.

5. कोई तो एक दिन को दूसरे से बढ़कर जानता है, और कोई सब दिन एक सा जानता है: हर एक अपने ही मन में निश्चय कर ले।

5. This man putteth difference bitwene daye and daye. Another man counteth all dayes alyke. Se that no man waver in his awne meanynge.

6. जो किसी दिन को मानता है, वह प्रभु के लिये मानता है: जो खाता है, वह प्रभु के लिये खाता है, क्योंकि परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता है, और जा नहीं खाता, वह प्रभु के लिये नहीं खाता और परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता है।

6. He that observeth one daye more then another doth it for ye lordes pleasure. And he that observeth not one daye moare then another doeth it to please ye lorde also. He that eateth doth it to please the lorde for he geveth god thankes.

7. क्योंकि हम में से न तो कोई पअने लिये जीता है, और न कोई अपने लिये मरता है।

7. And he yt eateth not eateth not to please ye lorde wt all and geveth god thankes.

8. क्योंकि यदि हम जीवित हैं, तो प्रभु के लिये जीवित हैं; और यदि मरते हैं, तो प्रभु के लिये मरते हैं; सो हम जीएं या मरें, हम प्रभु ही के हैं।

8. For none of vs lyveth his awne servaut: nether doeth anye of vs dye his awne servaunt. Yf we lyve we lyve to be at ye lordes will. And yf we dye we dye at ye lordes will. Whether we lyve therfore or dye we are the lordes.

9. क्योंकि मसीह इसी लिये मरा और जी भी उठा कि वह मरे हुओं और जीवतों, दोनों का प्रभु हो।

9. For Christ therfore dyed and rose agayne and revived that he myght be lorde both of deed and quicke.

10. तू अपने भाई पर क्यों दोष लगाता है? या तू फिर क्यों अपने भाई को तुच्छ जानता है? हम सब के सब परमेश्वर के न्याय सिंहासन के साम्हने खड़े होंगे।
भजन संहिता 72:2-4

10. But why doest thou then iudge thy brother? Other why doest thou despyse thy brother? We shall all be brought before the iudgement seate of Christ.

11. क्योंकि लिखा है, कि प्रभु कहता है, मेरे जीवन की सौगन्ध कि हर एक घुटना मेरे साम्हने टिकेगा, और हर एक जीभ परमेश्वर को अंगीकार करेगा।
यशायाह 45:23, यशायाह 49:18

11. For it is written: as truely as I lyve sayth ye lorde all knees shall bowe to me and all tonges shall geve a knowledge to God.

12. सो हम में से हर एक परमेश्वर को अपना अपना लेखा देगा।।

12. So shall every one of vs geve accomptes of him selfe to God.

13. सो आगे को हम एक दूसरे पर दोष न लगाएं पर तुम यही ठान लो कि कोई अपने भाई के साम्हने ठेस या ठोकर खाने का कारण न रखे।

13. Let vs not therfore iudge one another eny more. But iudge this rather that no man put a stomblynge blocke or an occasion to faule in his brothers waye.

14. मैं जानता हूं, और प्रभु यीशु से मुझे निश्चय हुआ है, कि कोई वस्तु अपने आप से अशुद्ध नहीं, परन्तु जो उस को अशुद्ध समझता है, उसके लिये अशुद्ध है।

14. For I knowe and am full certified in the Lorde Iesus that ther is nothinge comen of it selfe: but vnto him that iudgeth it to be comen: to him is it comen.

15. यदि तेरा भाई तेरे भोजन के कारण उदास होता है, तो फिर तू प्रेम की रीति से नहीं चलता: जिस के लिये मसीह मरा उस को तू अपने भोजन के द्वारा नाश न कर।

15. If thy brother be greved with thy meate now walkest thou not charitablye. Destroye not him with thy meate for whom Christ dyed.

16. अब तुम्हारी भलाई की निन्दा न होने पाए।

16. Cause not youre treasure to be evyll spoken of.

17. क्योंकि परमशॆवर का राज्या खानापीना नहीं; परन्तु धर्म और मिलाप और वह आनन्द है;

17. For the kyngdome of God is not meate and drinke: but rightewesnes peace and ioye in the holy goost.

18. जो पवित्राआत्मा से होता है और जो कोई इस रीति से मसीह की सेवा करता है, वह परमेश्वर को भाता है और मनुष्यों में ग्रहणयोग्य ठहरता है।

18. For whosoever in these thinges serveth Christ pleaseth well God and is commended of men.

19. इसलिये हम उन बातों का प्रयत्न करें जिनसे मेल मिलाप और एक दूसरे का सुधार हो।

19. Let vs folowe tho thinges which make for peace and thinges wherwith one maye edyfie another.

20. भोजन के लिये परमेश्वर का काम न बिगाड़: सब कुछ शुद्ध तो है, परन्तु उस मनुष्य के लिये बुरा है, जिस को उसके भोजन करने से ठोकर लगती है।

20. Destroye not ye worke of god for a lytell meates sake. All thinges are pure: but it is evyll for that man which eateth with hurte of his conscience.

21. भला तो यह है, कि तू न मांस खाए, और न दाख रस पीए, न और कुछ ऐसा करे, जिस से तेरा भाई ठोकर खाए।

21. It is good nether to eate flesshe nether to drincke wyne nether eny thinge wherby thy brother stombleth ether falleth or is made weake.

22. तेरा जो विश्वास हो, उसे परमेश्वर के साम्हने अपने ही मन में रख: धन्य है वह, जो उस बात में, जिस वह ठीक समझता है, अपने आप को दोषी नहीं ठहराता ।

22. Hast thou fayth? have it with thy selfe before god. Happy is he yt condempneth not him selfe in that thinge which he aloweth.

23. परन्तु जो सन्देह कर के खाता है, वह दण्ड के योग्य ठहर चुका, क्योंकि वह निश्चय धारणा से नहीं खाता, और जो कुछ विश्वास से नहीं, वह पाप है।।

23. For he yt maketh conscience is dampned yf he eate: because he doth it not of fayth. For whatsoever is not of fayth that same is synne.
