1. यहोवा अपने अभिषिक्त कु ू के विषय यों कहता है, मैं ने उस के दहिने हाथ को इसलिये थाम लिया है कि उसके साम्हने जातियों केा दबा दूं और राजाओं की कमर ढीली करूं, उसके साम्हने फाटकों को ऐसा खोल दूं कि वे फाटक बन्द न किए जाएं।

1. The LORD has chosen Cyrus to be king. He has appointed him to conquer nations; he sends him to strip kings of their power; the LORD will open the gates of cities for him. To Cyrus the LORD says,

2. मैं तेरे आगे आगे चलूंगा और ऊंची ऊंची भूमि को चौरस करूंगा, मैं पीतल के किवाड़ों को तोड़ डालूंगा और लोहे के बेड़ों को टुकड़े टुकड़े कर दूंगा।

2. 'I myself will prepare your way, leveling mountains and hills. I will break down bronze gates and smash their iron bars.

3. मैं तुझ को अन्घकार में छिपा दूंगा, जिस से तू जाने कि मैं इस्राएल का परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं जो तुझे नाम लेकर बुलाता है।

3. I will give you treasures from dark, secret places; then you will know that I am the LORD and that the God of Israel has called you by name.

4. अपने दास याकूब और अपने चुने हुए इस्राएल के निमित्त मैं ने नाम लेकर तुझे बुलाया है; यद्यिप तू मुझे नहीं जानता, तौभी मैं ने तुझे पदवी दी है।

4. I appoint you to help my servant Israel, the people that I have chosen. I have given you great honor, although you do not know me.

5. मैं यहोवा हूं और दूसरा कोई नहीं, मुझे छोड़ कोई परमेश्वर नहीं; यद्यपि तू मुझे नहीं जानता, तौभी मैं तेरी कमर कसूंगा,

5. 'I am the LORD; there is no other god. I will give you the strength you need, although you do not know me.

6. जिस से उदयाचल से लेकर अस्ताचल तक लोग जान लें कि मुझ बिना कोई है ही नहीं है।

6. I do this so that everyone from one end of the world to the other may know that I am the LORD and that there is no other god.

7. मैं उजियाले का बनानेवाला और अन्धियारे का सृजनहार हूं, मैं शान्ति का दाता और विपत्ति को रचता हूं, मैं यहोवा ही इन सभों का कर्त्ता हूं।

7. I create both light and darkness; I bring both blessing and disaster. I, the LORD, do all these things.

8. हे आकाश, ऊपर से धर्म बरसा, आकाशमण्डल से धर्म की वर्षा हो; पृथ्वी खुले कि उद्धार उत्पन्न हो; और धर्म भी उसके संग उगाए; मैं यहोवा ही ने उसे उत्पन्न किया है।।

8. I will send victory from the sky like rain; the earth will open to receive it and will blossom with freedom and justice. I, the LORD, will make this happen.'

9. हाय उस पर जो अपने रचनेवाले से झगड़ता है! वह तो मिट्टी के ठीकरों में से एक ठीकरा ही है! क्या मिट्टी कुम्हार से कहेगी, तू यह क्या करता है? क्या कारीगर का बनाया हुआ कार्य उसके विषय कहेगा कि उसके हाथ नहीं है?

9. Does a clay pot dare argue with its maker, a pot that is like all the others? Does the clay ask the potter what he is doing? Does the pot complain that its maker has no skill?

10. हाय उस पर जो अपने पिता से कहे, तू क्या जन्माता है? और मां से कहे, तू किस की माता है?

10. Do we dare say to our parents, 'Why did you make me like this?'

11. यहोवा जो इस्राएल का पवित्रा और उसका बनानेवाला है, वह यों कहता है, क्या तुम आनेवाली घटनाएं मुझ से पूछोगे? क्या मेरे पुत्रों और मेरे कामों के विषय मुझे आज्ञा दोगे?

11. The LORD, the holy God of Israel, the one who shapes the future, says: 'You have no right to question me about my children or to tell me what I ought to do!

12. मैं ही ने पृथ्वी को बनाया और उसके ऊपर मनुष्यों को सृजा है; मैं ने अपने ही हाथों से आकाश को ताना और उसके सारे गणों कों आज्ञा दी है।

12. I am the one who made the earth and created human beings to live there. By my power I stretched out the heavens; I control the sun, the moon, and the stars.

13. मैं ही ने उस पुरूष को धार्मिकता से उभारा है और मैं उसके सब मार्गों को सीधा करूंगा; वह मेरे नगर को फिर बसाएगा और मेरे बंधुओं को बिना दाम या बदला लिए छुड़ा देगा, सेनाओं के यहोवा का यही वचन है।।

13. I myself have stirred Cyrus to action to fulfill my purpose and put things right. I will straighten out every road that he travels. He will rebuild my city, Jerusalem, and set my captive people free. No one has hired him or bribed him to do this.' The LORD Almighty has spoken.

14. यहोवा यों कहता है, मिस्त्रियों की कमाई और कूशियों के ब्योपार का लाभ और सबाई लोग जो डील- डौलवाले हैं, तेरे पास चले आएंगे, और तेरे ही हो जाएंगे, वे तेरे पीछे पीछे चलेंगे; वे सांकलों में बन्धे हुए चले आएंगे और तेरे साम्हने दण्डवत् कर तुझ से बिनती करके कहेंगे, निश्चय परमेश्वर तेरे ही साथ है और दूसरा कोई नहीं; उसके सिवाय कोई और परमेश्वर नहीं।।

14. The LORD says to Israel, 'The wealth of Egypt and Ethiopia will be yours, and the tall men of Seba will be your slaves; they will follow you in chains. They will bow down to you and confess, 'God is with you---he alone is God.

15. हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर, हे उद्धारकर्त्ता! निश्चय तू ऐसा ईश्वर है जो अपने को गुप्त रखता है।

15. The God of Israel, who saves his people, is a God who conceals himself.

16. मूत्तियों के गढ़नेवाले सब के सब लज्जित और चकित होंगे, वे सब के सब व्याकुल होंगे।

16. Those who make idols will all be ashamed; all of them will be disgraced.

17. परनतु इस्राएल यहोवा के द्वारा युग युग का उद्धार पाएगा; तुम युग युग वरन अनन्तकाल तक न तो कभी लज्जित और न कभी व्याकुल होगे।।

17. But Israel is saved by the LORD, and her victory lasts forever; her people will never be disgraced.' '

18. क्योंकि यहोवा जो आकाश का सृजनहार है, वही परमेश्वर है; उसी ने पृथ्वी को रख और बनाया, उसी ने उसको स्थिर भी किया; उस ने उसे सुनसान रहने के लिये नहीं परन्तु बसने के लिये उसे रचा है। वही यों कहता है, मैं यहोवा हूं, मेरे सिवा दूसरा और कोई नहीं है।

18. The LORD created the heavens--- he is the one who is God! He formed and made the earth--- he made it firm and lasting. He did not make it a desolate waste, but a place for people to live. It is he who says, 'I am the LORD, and there is no other god.

19. मैं ने न किसी गुप्त स्थान में, न अन्धकार देश के किसी स्थान में बातें कीं; मैं ने याकूब के वंश से नहीं कहा, मुझे व्यर्थ में ढूंढ़ों। मैं यहोवा सत्य ही कहता हूं, मैं उचित बातें ही बताता हूं।।

19. I have not spoken in secret or kept my purpose hidden. I did not require the people of Israel to look for me in a desolate waste. I am the LORD, and I speak the truth; I make known what is right.'

20. हे अन्यजातियों में से बचे हुए लोगो, इकट्ठे होकर आओ, एक संग मिलकर निकट आओ! वह जो अपनी लकड़ी की खोदी हुई मूरतें लिए फिरते हैं और ऐसे देवता से जिस से उद्धार नहीं हो सकता, प्रार्थना करते हैं, वे अज्ञान हैं।

20. The LORD says, 'Come together, people of the nations, all who survive the fall of the empire; present yourselves for the trial! The people who parade with their idols of wood and pray to gods that cannot save them--- those people know nothing at all!

21. तुम प्रचार करो और उनको लाओ; हां, वे आपस में सम्मति करें किस ने प्राचीनकाल से यह प्रगट किया? किस ने प्राचीनकाल में इसकी सूचना पहिले ही से दी? क्या मैं यहोवा ही ने यह नहीं किया? इसलिये मुझे छोड़ कोई और दूसरा परमेश्वर नहीं है, धर्मी और उद्धारकर्ता ईश्वर मुझे छोड़ और कोई नहीं है।।

21. Come and present your case in court; let the defendants consult one another. Who predicted long ago what would happen? Was it not I, the LORD, the God who saves his people? There is no other god.

22. हे पृथ्वी के दूर दूर के देश के रहनेवालो, तुम मेरी ओर फिरो और उद्धार पाओ! क्योंकि मैं ही ईश्वर हूं और दूसरा कोई नहीं है।

22. 'Turn to me now and be saved, people all over the world! I am the only God there is.

23. मैं ने अपनी ही शपथ खाई, धर्म के अनुसार मेरे मुख से यह वचन निकला है और वह नहीं टलेगा, प्रत्येक घुटना मेरे सम्मुख झुकेगा और प्रत्येक के मुख से मेरी ही शपथ खाई जाएगी।।

23. My promise is true, and it will not be changed. I solemnly promise by all that I am: Everyone will come and kneel before me and vow to be loyal to me.

24. लोग मेरे विषय में कहेंगे, केवल यहोवा ही में धर्म और शक्ति है। उसी के पास लोग आएंगे। और जो उस से रूठे रहेंगे, उन्हें लज्जित होना पड़ेगा।

24. 'They will say that only through me are victory and strength to be found; but all who hate me will suffer disgrace.

25. इस्राएल के सारे वंश के लोग यहोवा ही के कारण धर्मी ठहरेंगे, और उसकी महिमा करेंगे।।

25. I, the LORD, will rescue all the descendants of Jacob, and they will give me praise.
