1. हे परमेश्वर, मेरा चिल्लाना सुन, मेरी प्रार्थना की ओर घ्यान दे।

1. For the choir director; on a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David. Hear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer.

2. मूर्छा खाते समय मैं पृथ्वी की छोर से भी तुझे पुकारूंगा, जो चट्टान मेरे लिये ऊंची है, उस पर मुझ को ले चला;

2. From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3. क्योंकि तू मेरा शरणस्थान है, और शत्रु से बचने के लिये ऊंचा गढ़ है।।

3. For You have been a refuge for me, A tower of strength against the enemy.

4. मै तेरे तम्बू में युगानुयुग बना रहूंगा।

4. Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah.

5. क्योंकि हे परमेश्वर, तू ने मेरी मन्नतें सुनीं, जो तेरे नाम के डरवैये हैं, उनका सा भाग तू ने मुझे दिया है।।

5. For You have heard my vows, O God; You have given [me] the inheritance of those who fear Your name.

6. तू राजा की आयु को बहुत बढ़ाएगा; उसके वर्ष पीढ़ी पीढ़ी के बराबर होंगे।

6. You will prolong the king's life; His years will be as many generations.

7. वह परमेश्वर के सम्मुख सदा बना रहेगा; तू अपनी करूणा और सच्चाई को उसकी रक्षा के लिये ठहरा रख।

7. He will abide before God forever; Appoint lovingkindness and truth that they may preserve him.

8. और मैं सर्वदा तेरे नाम का भजन गा गाकर अपनी मन्नतें हर दिन पूरी किया करूंगा।।

8. So I will sing praise to Your name forever, That I may pay my vows day by day.
