1. हे परमेश्वर अपने नाम के द्वारा मेरा उद्वार कर, और अपने पराक्रम से मेरा न्याय कर।

1. To the chief music-maker; on Neginoth. Maschil. Of David. When the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Is not David keeping himself secret among us? Let your name be my salvation, O God; let my cause be judged by your strength.

2. हे परमेश्वर, मेरी प्रार्थना सुन ले; मेरे मुंह के वचनों की ओर कान लगा।।

2. Let my prayer come before you, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3. क्योंकि परदेशी मेरे विरूद्व उठे हैं, और बलात्कारी मेरे प्राण के ग्राहक हुए हैं; उन्हों ने परमेश्वर को अपने सम्मुख नहीं जाना।।

3. For men who are going after me have come out against me, violent men are purposing to take my soul; they have not put God before their eyes. (Selah.)

4. देखो, परमेश्वर मेरा सहायक है; प्रभु मेरे प्राण के सम्भालनेवालों के संग है।

4. See, God is my helper: the Lord is the great supporter of my soul.

5. वह मेरे द्रोहियों की बुराई को उन्हीं पर लौटा देगा; हे परमेश्वर, अपनी सच्चाई के कारण उन्हें विनाश कर।।

5. Let the evil works of my haters come back on them again; let them be cut off by your good faith.

6. मैं तुझे स्वेच्छाबलि चढ़ाऊंगा; हे यहोवा, मैं तेरे नाम का धन्यवाद करूंगा, क्योंकि यह उत्तम है।

6. Freely will I make my offerings to you; I will give praise to your name, O Lord, for it is good.

7. क्योंकि तू ने मुझे सब दुखों से छुड़ाया है, और मैं अपने शत्रुओं पर दृष्टि करके सन्तुष्ट हुआ हूं।।

7. Because it has been my saviour from all my trouble; and my eyes have seen the punishment of my haters.
