1. जब इस्राएल ने मि से, अर्थात् याकूब के घराने ने अन्य भाषावालों के बीच में कूच किया,

1. When Israel came out of Egipte, & the house of Iacob from amonge that straunge people.

2. तब यहूदा यहोवा का पवित्रास्थान और इस्राएल उसके राज्य के लोग हो गए।।

2. Iuda was his Sactuary, Israel his dominion.

3. समुद्र देखकर भागा, यर्दन नदी उलटी बही।

3. The see sawe that, and fled, Iordan turned backe.

4. पहाड़ मेढ़ों की नाईं उछलने लगे, और पहाड़ियां भेड़- बकरियों के बच्चों की नाईं उछलने लगीं।।

4. The mountaynes skipped like rammes, & the litle hilles like yonge shepe.

5. हे समुद्र, तुझे क्या हुआ, कि तू भागा? और हे यर्दन तुझे क्या हुआ, कि तू उलठी बही?

5. What ayled the (o thou see) that thou fleddest? and thou Iordan, that thou turnedest backe?

6. हे पहाड़ों तुम्हें क्या हुआ, कि तुम भेड़ों की नाईं, और हे पहाड़ियों तुम्हें क्या हुआ, कि तुम भेड़- बकरियों के बच्चों की नाईं उछलीं?

6. Ye mountaynes, that ye skipped like rammes? and ye litle hilles, like yonge shepe?

7. हे पृथ्वी प्रभु के साम्हने, हां याकूब के परमेश्वर के साम्हने थरथरा।

8. वह चट्टान को जल का ताल, चकमक के पत्थर को जल का सोता बना डालता है।।

8. Which turned the harde rocke in to a stondinge water, & the flynt stone in to a sprynginge well.
