1. तब सुलैमान ने इस्राएली पुरनियों को और गोत्रों के सब मुख्य पुरूष जो इस्राएलियों के पूर्वजों के घरानों के प्रधान थे,उनको भी यरूशलेम में अपने पास इस मनसा से इकट्ठा किया, कि वे यहोवा की वाचा का सन्दूक दाऊदपुर अर्थात् सियोन से ऊपर ले आएं।
प्रकाशितवाक्य 11:19

1. Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers of the children of Israel, to king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which [is] Zion.

2. सो सब इस्राएली पुरूष एतानीम नाम सातवें महीने कें पर्व के समय राजा सुलैमान के पास इकट्ठे हुए।

2. And all the men of Israel assembled themselves to king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which [is] the seventh month.

3. जब सब इस्राएली पुरनिये आए, तब याजकों ने सन्दूक को उठा लिया।

3. And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.

4. और यहोवा का सन्दूक, और मिलाप का तम्बू, और जितने पवित्रा पात्रा उस तम्बू में थे, उन सभों याजक और लेबीय लोग ऊपर ले गए।

4. And they brought the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that [were] in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring.

5. और राजा सुलैमान और समस्त इस्राएली मंडली, जो उसके पास इट्ठी हुई थी, वे रूब सन्दूक के साम्हने इतनी भेड़ और बैल बलि कर रहे थे, जिनकी गिनती किसी रीति से नहीं हो सकती थी।

5. And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled to him, [were] with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be counted nor numbered for multitude.

6. तब याजकों ने यहोवा की वाचा का सन्दूक उसके स्थान को अर्थात् भवन के दर्शन- स्थान में, जो परमपवित्रा स्थान है, पहुंचाकर करूबों के पंखों के तले रख दिया।
प्रकाशितवाक्य 11:19

6. And the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the most holy [place, even] under the wings of the cherubim.

7. करूब तो सन्दूक के स्थान के ऊपर पंख ऐसे फैलाए हुए थे, कि वे ऊपर से सन्दूक और उसके डंडों को ढांके थे।

7. For the cherubim spread forth [their] two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim covered the ark and its staffs above.

8. डंडे तो ऐसे लम्बे थे, कि उनके सिरे उस पवित्रा स्थान से जो दर्शन- स्थान के साम्हने था दिखाई पड़ते थे परन्तु बाहर से वे दिखाई नहीं पड़ते थे। वे आज के दिन तक यहीं वतमपान हैं।

8. And they drew out the staffs, that the ends of the staffs were seen out in the holy [place] before the inner sanctuary, and they were not seen outside: and there they are to this day.

9. सन्दूक में कुछ नहीं था, उन दो पटरियों को छोड़ जो मूसा ने होरेब में उसके भीतर उस समय रखीं, जब यहोवा ने इस्राएलियों के मिस्र से निकलने पर उनके साथ वाचा बान्धी थी।

9. [There was] nothing in the ark except the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made [a covenant] with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

10. जब याजक पवित्रास्थान से निकले, तब यहोवा के भवन में बादल भर आया।
प्रकाशितवाक्य 15:8

10. And it came to pass, when the priests had come out of the holy [place], that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

11. और बादल के कारण याजक सेवा टहल करने को खड़े न रह सके, क्योंकि यहोवा का तेज यहोवा के भवन में भर गया था।
प्रकाशितवाक्य 15:8

11. So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

12. तब सुलैमान कहने लगा, यहोवा ने कहा था, कि मैं घोर अंधकार में वास किए रहूंगा।

12. Then spoke Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

13. सचमुच मैं ने तेरे लिये एक वासस्थान, वरन ऐसा दृढ़ स्थान बनाया है, जिस में तू युगानुयुग बना रहे।
मत्ती 23:21

13. I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

14. और राजा ने इस्राएल की पूरी सभा की ओर मुंह फेरकर उसको आशीर्वाद दिया; और पूरी सभा खड़ी रही।

14. And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel were standing;)

15. और उस ने कहा, धन्य है इस्राएल का परमेश्वर यहोवा ! जिस ने अपने मुंह से मेरे पिता दाऊद को यह वचन दिया था, और अपने हाथ से उसे पूरा किया है,

15. And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled [it], saying,

16. कि जिस दिन से मैं अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल को मिस्र से निकाल लाया, तब से मैं ने किसी इस्राएली गोत्रा का कोई नगर नहीं चुना, जिस में मेरे नाम के निवास के लिये भवन बनाया जाए; परन्तु मैं ने दाऊद को चुन लिया, कि वह मेरी प्रजा इस्राएल का अधिकारी हो।

16. Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel from Egypt, I have chosen no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be in it; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.

17. मेरे पिता दाऊद की यह मनसा तो थी कि इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा के नाम का एक भवन बनाए।
प्रेरितों के काम 7:45-46

17. And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

18. परन्तु यहोवा ने मेरे पिता दाऊद से कहा, यह जो तेरी मनसा है, कि यहोवा के नाम का एक भवन बनाए, ऐसी मनसा करके तू ने भला तो किया;
प्रेरितों के काम 7:45-46

18. And the LORD said to David my father, Though it was in thy heart to build an house to my name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart.

19. तौभी तू उस भवन को न बनाएगा; तेरा जो निज पुत्रा होगा, वही मेरे नाम का भवन बनाएगा।
प्रेरितों के काम 7:47

19. Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house to my name.

20. यह जो वचन यहोवा ने कहा था, उसे उस ने पूरा भी किया है, और मैं अपने पिता दाऊद के स्थान पर उठकर, यहोवा के वचन के अनुसार इस्राएल की गद्दी पर विराजमान हूँ, और इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा के नाम से इस भवन को बनाया है।
प्रेरितों के काम 7:47

20. And the LORD hath performed his word that he spoke, and I have risen in the stead of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

21. और इस में मैं ने एक स्थान उस सन्दूक के लिये ठहराया है, जिस में यहोवा की वह वाचा है, जो उस ने हमारे पुरखाओं को मिस्र देश से निकालने के समय उन से बान्धी थी।

21. And I have set there a place for the ark, in which [is] the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them from the land of Egypt.

22. तब सुलैमान इस्राएल की पूरी सभा के देखते यहोवा की वेदी के साम्हने खड़ा हुआ, और अपने हाथ स्वर्ग की ओर फैलाकर कहा, हे यहोवा !

22. And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:

23. हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर ! तेरे समान न तो ऊपर स्वर्ग में, और न नीचे पृथ्वी पर कोई ईश्वर है : तेरे जो दास अपने सम्पूर्ण मन से अपने को तेरे सम्मुख जानकर चलते हैं, उनके लिये तू अपनी वाचा मूरी करता, और करूणा करता रहता है।

23. And he said, LORD God of Israel, [there is] no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

24. जो वचन तू ने मेरे पिता दाऊद को दिया था, उसका तू ने पालन किया है, जैसा तू ने अपने मुंह से कहा था, वैसा ही अपने हाथ से उसको पूरा किया है, जैसा आज है।

24. Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou didst promise him: thou didst speak also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled [it] with thy hand, as [it is] this day.

25. इसलिये अब हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा ! इस वचन को भी पूरा कर, जो तू ने अपने दास मेरे पिता दाऊद को दिया था, कि तेरे कुल में, मेरे साम्हने इस्राएल की गद्दी पर विराजनेवाले सदैव बने रहेंगे : इतना हो कि जैसे तू स्वयं मुझे सम्मुख जानकर चलता रहा, वैसे ही तेरे वंश के लोग अपनी चालचलन में ऐसी ही वौकसी करें।

25. Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou didst promise him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; provided thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

26. इसलिये अब हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर अपना जो वचन तू ने अपने दास मेरे पिता दाऊद को दिया था उसे सच्चा सिठ्ठ कर।

26. And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou didst speak to thy servant David my father.

27. क्या परमेश्वर सचमुच पृथ्वी पर वास करेगा, स्वर्ग में वरन सब से ऊंचे स्वर्ग में भी तू नहीं समाता, फिर मेरे बनाए हुए इस भवन में क्योंकर समाएगा।
प्रेरितों के काम 17:24

27. But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have built?

28. तौभी हे मेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा ! अपने दास की प्रार्थना और गिड़गिड़ाहट की ओर कान लगाकर, मेरी चिल्लाहट और यह प्रार्थना सुन ! जो मैं आज तेरे साम्हने कर रहा हूँ्र;

28. Yet have thou respect to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken to the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee this day:

29. कि तेरी आंख इस भवन की ओर अर्थात् इसी स्थान की ओर जिसके विषय तू ने कहा है, कि मेरा नाम वहां रहेगा, रात दिन खुली रहें : और जो प्रार्थना तेरा दास इस स्थान की ओर करे, उसे तू सुन ले।

29. That thy eyes may be open toward this house night and day, [even] toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken to the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.

30. और तू अपने दास, और अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल की प्रार्थना जिसको वे इस स्थान की ओर गिड़गिड़ा के करें उसे सुनना, वरद स्वर्ग। में से जो तेरा निवासस्थान है सुन लेना, और सुनकर क्षमा करना।

30. And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.

31. जब कोई किसी दूसरे का अपराध करे, और उसको शपथ खिलाई जाए, और वह आकर इस भवन में तेरी वेदी के साम्हने शपथ खाए,

31. If any man shall trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thy altar in this house:

32. तब तू स्वर्ग में सुन कर, अर्थात् अपने दासों का न्याय करके दुष्ट को दुष्ट ठहरा और उसकी चाल उसी के सिर लौटा दे, और निदष को निदष ठहराकर, उसके धर्म के अनुसार उसको फल देना।

32. Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

33. फिर जब नेरी प्रजा इस्राएल तेरे विरूद्ध पाप करने के कारण अपने शत्रुओं से हार जाए, और तेरी ओर फिरकर तेरा नाम ले और इस भवन में तुझ से गिड़गिड़ाहट के साथ प्रार्थना करे,

33. When thy people Israel shall be smitten before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication to thee in this house:

34. तब तू स्वर्ग में से सुनकर अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल का पाप क्षमा करना : और उन्हें इस देश में लौटा ले आना, जो तू ने उनके पुरूखाओं को दिया था।

34. Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again to the land which thou gavest to their fathers.

35. जब वे तेरे विरूद्ध पाप करें, और इस कारण आकाश बन्द हो जाए, कि वर्षा न होए, ऐसे समय यदि वे इस स्थान की ओर प्रार्थना करके तेरे नाम को मानें जब तू उन्हें दु:ख देता है, और अपने पाप से फिरें, तो तू स्वर्ग में से सुनकर क्षमा करना,

35. When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:

36. और अपने दासों, अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल के पाप को क्ष्मा करना; तू जो उनको वह भला मार्ग दिखाता है, जिस पर उन्हें चलना चाहिये, इसलिये अपने इस देश पर, जो तू ने अपनी प्रजा का भाग कर दिया है, पानी बरसा देना।

36. Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou mayest teach them the good way in which they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance.

37. जब इस देश में काल वा मरी वा झुलस हो वा गेरूई वा टिडि्डयां वा कीड़े लगें वा उनके शत्रु उनके देश के फाटकों में उन्हें घेर रखें, अथवा कोई विपत्ति वा रोग क्यों न हों,

37. If there shall be in the land famine, if there shall be pestilence, blighting, mildew, locust, [or] if there shall be caterpiller; if their enemy shall besiege them in the land of their cities; whatever plague, whatever sickness [there shall be];

38. तब यदि कोई मनुष्य वा तेरी प्रजा इस्राएल अपने अपने मन का दु:ख जान लें, और गिड़गिड़ाहट के साथ प्रार्थना करके अपने हाथ इस भवन की ओर फैलाएं;

38. Whatever prayer and supplication shall be [made] by any man, [or] by all thy people Israel, who shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

39. तो तू अपने स्वग य निवासस्थान में से सुनकर क्षमा करूना, और ऐसा करना, कि एक एक के मन को जानकर उसकी समस्त चाल के अनुसार उसको फल देना : तू ही तो सब आदमियों के मन के भेदों का जानने वाला है।

39. Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, [even] thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

40. तब वे जितने दिन इस देश में रहें, जो तू ने उनके पुरखाओं को दिया था, उतने दिन तक तेरा भय मानते रहें।

40. That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest to our fathers.

41. फिर परदेशी भी जो तेरी प्रजा इस्राएल का न हो, जब वह तेरा नाम सुनकर, दूर देश से आए,

41. Moreover concerning a stranger, that [is] not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name's sake;

42. वह तो तेरे बड़े ताम और बलवन्त हाथ और बढ़ाई हुई भुजा का समाचार पाए; इसलिये जब ऐसा कोई आकर इस भवन की ओर प्रार्थना करें,

42. (For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy outstretched arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;

43. तब तू अपने स्वग य निवासस्थान में से सुन, और जिस बात के लिये ऐसा परदेशी तुझे पुकारे, उसी के अनुसार व्यवहार करना जिस से पृथ्वी के सब देशों के लोग तेरा नाम जानकर तेरी प्रजा इस्राएल की नाई तेरा भय मानें, और निश्चय जानें, कि यह भवन जिसे मैं ने बनाया है, वह तेरा ही कहलाता है।

43. Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as [do] thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have built, is called by thy name.

44. जब तेरी प्रजा के लोग जहां कहीं तू उन्हें भेजे, वहां अपने शत्रुओं से लड़ाई करने को निकल जाएं, और इस नगर की ओर जिसे तू ने चुना है, और इस भवन की ओर जिसे मैं ने तेरे नाम पर बनाया है, यहोवा से प्रार्थना करें,

44. If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, wherever thou shalt send them, and shall pray to the LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and [toward] the house that I have built for thy name:

45. तब तू स्वर्ग में से उनकी प्रार्थना और गिड़गिड़ाहट सुनकर उनका न्याय कर।

45. Then hear thou in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.

46. निष्पाप तो कोई मनुष्य नहीं है : यदि ये भी तेरे विरूद्ध पाप करें, और तू उन पर कोप करके उन्हें श.ाुओं के हाथ कर दे, और वे उनको बन्धुआ करके अपने देश को चाहे वह दूर हो, चाहे निकट ले जवएं,

46. If they shall sin against thee, (for [there is] no man that sinneth not,) and thou shalt be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives to the land of the enemy, far or near;

47. तो यदि वे बन्धुआई के देश में सोच विचार करें, और फिरकर अपने बन्धुआ करनेवालों के देश में तुझ से गिड़गिड़ाकर कहें कि हम ने पाप किया, और कुटिलता ओर दुष्टता की है;

47. [Yet] if they shall take it to their hearts in the land where they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication to thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;

48. और यदि वे अपने उन शत्रुओं के देश में जो उन्हें बन्धुआ करके ले गए हों, अपने सम्पूर्ण मन और सम्पूर्ण प्राण से तेरी ओर फिरें और अपने इस देश की ओर जो तू ने उनके पुरूखाओं को दिया था, और इस नगर की ओर जिसे तू ने चुना है, और इस भवन की ओर जिसे मैं ने तेरे नाम का बनाया है, तुझ से प्रार्थना करें,

48. And [so] return to thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, who led them away captive, and pray to thee toward their land, which thou gavest to their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:

49. तो तू अपने स्वग य निवासस्थान में से उनकी प्रार्थना और गिड़गिड़ाहट सुनना; और उनका न्याय करना,

49. Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,

50. और जो पाप तेरी प्रजा के लोग तेरे विरूद्ध करेंगे, और जितने अपराध वे तेरे विरूद्ध करेंगे, सब को क्षमा करके, उनके बन्धुआ करनेवालों के मन में ऐसी दया उपजाना कि वे उन पर दया करें।

50. And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions in which they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:

51. क्योंकि वे तो तेरी प्रजा और तेरा निज भाग हैं जिन्हें तू लोहे के भट्ठे के मध्य में से अर्थात् मिस्र से निकाल लाया है।

51. For they [are] thy people, and thy inheritance, which thou broughtest out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:

52. इसलिये तेरी आंखें तेरे दाय की गिड़गिड़ाहट और तेरी प्रजा इस्राएल की गिड़गिड़ाहट की ओर ऐसी खुली रहें, कि जब जब वे तुझे पुकारें, तब तब तू उनकी सुन ले;

52. That thy eyes may be open to the supplication of thy servant, and to the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken to them in all their supplications to thee.

53. क्योंकि हे प्रभु यहोवा अपने उस वचन के अनुसार, जो तू ने हमारे पुरखाओं को मिस्र से निकालने के समय अपने दास मूसा के द्वारा दिया था, तू ने इन लोगों को अपना निज भाग होने के लिये पृथ्वी की सब जातियों से अलग किया है।

53. For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, [to be] thy inheritance, as thou didst speak by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.

54. जब सुलैमान यहोवा से यह सब प्रार्थना गिड़गिड़ाहट के साथ कर चुका, तब वह जो घुटने टेके और आकाश की ओर हाथ फैलाए हुए था, सो यहोवा की वेदी के साम्हने से उठा,

54. And it was [so], that when Solomon had finished praying all this prayer and supplication to the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

55. और खड़ा हो, समस्त इस्राएली सभा को ऊंचे स्वर से यह कहकर आशीर्वाद दिया, कि धन्य है यहोवा,

55. And he stood, and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying,

56. जिस ने ठीक अपने कथन के अनुसार अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल को विश्राम दिया है, जितनी भलाई की बातें उसने अपने दास मूसा के द्वारा कही थीं,उन में से एक भी बिना पूरी हुए नहीं रही।

56. Blessed [be] the LORD, that hath given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

57. हमारा परमेश्वर यहोवा जैसे हमारे पुरखाओं के संग रहता था, वैसे ही हमारे संग भी रहे, वह हम को त्याग न दे और न हम को छोड़ दे।

57. The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us:

58. वह हमारे मन अपनी ओर ऐसा फिराए रखे, कि हम उसके सब माग पर चला करें, और उसकी आज्ञाएं और विधियां और नियम जिन्हें उसने हमारे पुरखाओं को दिया था, नित माना करें।

58. That he may incline our hearts to him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.

59. और मेरी ये बातें जिनकी मैं ने यहोवा के साम्हने बिनती की है, वह दिन और रात हमारे परमेश्वर यहोवा के मन में बनी रहें, और जैसा दिन दिन प्रयोजन हो वैसा ही वह अपने दास का और अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल का भी न्याय किया करे,

59. And let these my words, with which I have made supplication before the LORD, be near to the LORD our God day and night, that he may maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:

60. और इस से पृथ्वी की सब जातियां यह जान लें, कि यहोवा ही परमेश्वर है; और कोई दूसरा नहीं।

60. That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD [is] God, [and that there is] none else.

61. तो तुम्हारा मन हमारे परमेश्वर यहोवा की ओर ऐसी पूरी रीति से लगा रहे, कि आज की नाई उसकी विधियों पर चलते और उसकी आज्ञाएं मानते रहो।

61. Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.

62. तब राजा समस्त इस्राएल समेत यहोवा के सम्मुख मेलबलि चढ़ाने लगा।

62. And the king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before the LORD.

63. और जो पशु सुलैमान ने मेलबलि में यहोवा को चढ़ाए, सो बाईस हजार बैल और एक लाख बीस हजार भेड़ें थीं। इस रीति राजा ने सब इस्राएलियों समेत यहोवा के भवन की प्रतिष्ठा की।

63. And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.

64. उस दिन राजा ने यहोवा के भवन के साम्हनेवाले आंगन के मध्य भी एक स्थान पवित्रा किया और होमबलि, और अन्नबलि और मेलबलियों की चरबी वहीं चढ़ाई; क्योंकि जो पीतल की वेदी यहोवा के साम्हने थी, वह उनके लिये छोटी थी।

64. The same day did the king consecrate the middle of the court that [was] before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that [was] before the LORD [was] too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

65. और सुलैमान ने और उसके संग समस्त इस्राएल की एक बड़ी सभा ने जो हमात की घाटी से लेकर मिस्र के नाले तक के सब देशों से इट्ठी हुई थी, दो सप्ताह तक अर्थात् चौदह दिन तक हमारे परमेश्वर यहोवा के साम्हने पर्व को माना। फिर आठवें दिन उस ने प्रजा के लोगों को विदा किया।

65. And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entrance into Hamath to the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, [even] fourteen days.

66. और वे राजा को धन्य, धन्य, कहकर उस सब भलाई के कारण जो यहोवा ने अपने दास दाऊद और अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल से की थी, आनन्दित और मगन होकर अपने अपने डेरे को चले गए।

66. On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
