1. निदान, हे भाइयो, हमारे लिये प्रार्थना किया करो, कि प्रभु का वचन ऐसा शीघ्र फैले, और महिमा पाए, जैसा तुम में हुआ।

1. Fvrthermore brethren praye for vs, that the worde of God maye haue fre passage and be glorified as it is with you,

2. और हम टेढ़े और दुष्ट मनुष्यों से बचे रहें क्योंकि हर एक में विश्वास नहीं।।

2. and that we maye be delyuered from vnreasonable and euell me. For faith is not euery mas.

3. परन्तु प्रभु सच्चा है; वह तुम्हें दृढ़ता से स्थिर करेगा: और उस दुष्ट से सुरक्षित रखेगा।

3. But the LORDE is faithfull, which shal stablyshe you and kepe you from euell.

4. और हमें प्रभु में तुम्हारे ऊपर भरोसा है, कि जो जो आज्ञा हम तुम्हें देते हैं, उन्हें तुम मानते हो, और मानते भी रहोगे।

4. We haue confidence in the LORDE to you warde, that ye both do and wyll do that which we comaunde you.

5. परमेश्वर के प्रेम और मसीह के धीरज की ओर प्रभु तुम्हारे मन की अगुवाई करे।।

5. The LORDE gyde youre hertes vnto the loue of God and pacience of Christ.

6. हे भाइयों, हम तुम्हें अपने प्रभु यीशु मसीह के नाम से आज्ञा देते हैं; कि हर एक ऐसे भाई से अलग रहो, जो अनुचित चाल चलता, और जो शिक्षा उस ने हम से पाई उसके अनुसार नहीं करता।

6. But we requyre you brethren, in the name of oure LORDE Iesus Christ, that ye withdrawe youre selues from euery brother that walketh inordinatly, and not after the institucion which he receaued of vs.

7. क्योंकि तुम आप जानते हो, कि किस रीति से हमारी सी चाल चलनी चाहिए; क्योंकि हम तुम्हारे बीच में अनुचित चाल न चले।

7. For ye yor selues knowe, how ye oughte to folowe vs: for we behaued not oure selues inordinatly amonge you,

8. और किसी की रोटी सेंत में न खाई; पर परिश्रम और कष्ट से रात दिन काम धन्धा करते थे, कि तुम में से किसी पर भार न हो।

8. nether toke we bred of eny man for naughte but wrought wt laboure and trauayle night and daye, lest we shulde be chargeable to eny of you.

9. यह नहीं, कि हमें अधिकार नहीं; पर इसलिये कि अपने आप को तुम्हारे लिये आदर्श ठहराएं, कि तुम हमारी सी चाल चलो।

9. Not but that we had auctorite, but to geue oure selues for an ensample vnto you to folowe vs.

10. और जब हम तुम्हारे यहां थे, तब भी यह आज्ञा तुम्हें देते थे, कि यदि कोई काम करना न चाहे, तो खाने भी न पाए।

10. And whan we were wt you, this we warned you of, that yf there were eny which wolde not worke, ye same shulde not eate.

11. हम सुनते हैं, कि कितने लोग तुम्हारे बीच में अनुचित चाल चलते हैं; और कुछ काम नहीं करते, पर औरों के काम में हाथ डाला करते हैं।

11. For we heare saye, that there are some which walke amonge you inordinatly, and worke not at all, but are busy bodies.

12. ऐसों को हम प्रभु यीशु मसीह में आज्ञा देते और समझाते हैं, कि चुपचाप काम करके अपनी ही रोटी खाया करें।

12. But them that are soche, we commaunde and exhorte by oure LORDE Iesus Christ, that they worke with quyetnes, and eate their awne bred.

13. और तुम, हे भाइयो, भलाई करने में हियाव न छोड़ो।

13. Neuertheles brethren, be not ye weery of well doynge.

14. यदि कोई हमारी इस पत्री की बात को न माने, तो उस पर दृष्टि रखो; और उस की संगति न करो, जिस से वह लज्जित हो;

14. But yf eny man obey not oure sayenges, sende vs worde of him by a letter, and haue nothinge to do with him, yt he maye be ashamed.

15. तौभी उसे बैरी मन समझो पर भाई जानकर चिताओ।।

15. Yet counte him not as an enemye, but warne him as a brother.

16. अब प्रभु जो शान्ति का सोता है आप ही तुम्हें सदा और हर प्रकार से शान्ति दे: प्रभु तुम सब के साथ रहे।।

16. The very LORDE of peace geue you peace allwayes by all meanes. The LORDE be with you all.

17. मैं पौलुस अपने हाथ से नमस्कार लिखता हूं: हर पत्री में मेरा यही चिन्ह है: मैं इसी प्रकार से लिखता हूं।

17. The salutacion of me Paul with myne awne hande: This is the token in all epistles, So I wryte,

18. हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह का अनुग्रह तुम सब पर होता रहे।।

18. The grace of oure LORDE Iesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
