1. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा और हारून से कहा,

1. The LORD spoke to Moshe and to Aharon, saying,

2. लेवियों में से कहातियों की, उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार, गिनती करो,

2. 'Take a census of the sons of Kehat from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers' houses,

3. अर्थात् तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की अवस्थावालों की सेना में, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू में कामकाज करने को भरती हैं।

3. from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all who enter into the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.

4. और मिलापवाले तम्बू में परमपवित्रा वस्तुओं के विषय कहातियों का यह काम होगा,

4. This is the service of the sons of Kehat in the Tent of Meeting, the most holy things.

5. अर्थात् जब जब छावनी का कूच हो तब तब हारून और उसके पुत्रा भीतर आकर, बीचवाले पर्दे को उतार के उस से साक्षीपत्रा के सन्दूक को ढंाप दें;

5. When the camp moves forward, Aharon shall go in, and his sons, and they shall take down the veil of the screen, and cover the ark of the Testimony with it,

6. तब वे उस पर सूइसों की खालों का ओहार डालें, और उसके ऊपर सम्पूर्ण नीले रंग का कपड़ा डालें, और सन्दूक में डण्डों को लगाएं।

6. and shall put a covering of sealskin on it, and shall spread over it a cloth all of blue, and shall put in its poles.

7. फिर भेंटवाली रोटी की मेज़ पर नीला कपड़ा बिछाकर उस पर परातों, धूपदानों, करवों, और उंडेलने के कटोरों को रखें; और नित्य की रोटी भी उस पर हो;

7. On the table of show bread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the spoons, the bowls, and the cups with which to pour out; and the continual bread shall be on it.

8. तब वे उन पर लाल रंग का कपड़ा बिछाकर उसको सुइसों की खालों के ओहार से ढ़ापे, और मेज़ के डण्डों को लगा दें।

8. They shall spread on them a scarlet cloth, and cover the same with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.

9. फिर वे नीले रंग का कपड़ा लेकर दीपकों, गलतराशों, और गुलदानों समेत उजियाला देनेवाले दीवट को, और उसके सब तेल के पात्रों को जिन से उसकी सेवा टहल होती है ढांपे;

9. They shall take a blue cloth, and cover the menorah of the light, and its lamps, and its snuffers, and its snuff dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it.

10. तब वे सारे सामान समेत दीवट को सूइसों की खालों के ओहार के भीतर रखकर डण्डे पर धर दें।

10. They shall put it and all its vessels within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it on the frame.

11. फिर वे सोने की वेदी पर एक नीला कपड़ा बिछाकर उसको सूइसों की खालों के ओहार के भीतर रखकर डण्डे पर धर दें।

11. On the golden altar they shall spread a blue cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.

12. तब वे सेवा टहल के सारे सामान को लेकर, जिस से पवित्रास्थान में सेवा टहल होली है, नीले कपड़े के भीतर रखकर सूइसों की खालों के ओहार से ढांपे, और डण्डे पर धर दें।

12. They shall take all the vessels of ministry, with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a blue cloth, and cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.

13. फिर वे वेदी पर से सब राख उठाकर वेदी पर बैंजनी रंग का कपड़ा बिछाएं;

13. They shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth on it.

14. तब जिस सामान से वेदी पर की सेवा टहल होती है वह सब, अर्थात् उसके करछे, कांटे, फावड़ियां, और कटोरे आदि, वेदी का सारा सामान उस पर रखें; और उसके ऊपर सूइसों की खालों का ओहार बिछाकर वेदी में डण्डों को लगाएं।

14. They shall put on it all its vessels, with which they minister about it, the fire pans, the flesh hooks, the shovels, and the basins; all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of sealskin, and put in its poles.

15. और जब हारून और उसके पुत्रा छावनी के कूच के समय पवित्रास्थान और उसके सारे सामान को ढंाप चुकें, तब उसके बाद कहाती उसके उठाने के लिये आएं, पर किसी पवित्रा वस्तु को न छुएं, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि मर जाएं। कहातियों के उठाने के लिये मिलापवाले तम्बू की ये ही वस्तुएं हैं।

15. When Aharon and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary, and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kehat shall come to carry it: but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kehat in the Tent of Meeting.

16. और जो वस्तुएं हारून याजक के पुत्रा एलीजार को रक्षा के लिये सौंपी जाएं वे ये हैं, अर्थात् उजियाला देने के लिये तेल, और सुगन्धित धूप, और नित्य अन्नबलि, और अभिषेक का तेल, और सारे निवास, और उस में की सब वस्तुएं, और पवित्रास्थान और उसके कुल समान।।

16. 'The charge of El`azar the son of Aharon the Kohen shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the charge of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.'

17. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा और हारून से कहा,

17. The LORD spoke to Moshe and to Aharon, saying,

18. कहातियों के कुलों के गोत्रियों को लेवियों में से नाश न होने देना;

18. 'Don't cut off the tribe of the families of the Kehati from among the Levites;

19. उसके साथ ऐसा करो, कि जब वे परमपवित्रा वस्तुओं के समीप आएं तब न मरें परन्तु जीवित रहें; अर्थात् हारून और उसके पुत्रा भीतर आकर एक एक के लिये उसकी सेवकाई और उसका भार ठहरा दें,

19. but thus do to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach to the most holy things: Aharon and his sons shall go in, and appoint them everyone to his service and to his burden;

20. और वे पवित्रा वस्तुओं के देखने को क्षण भर के लिये भी भीतर आने न पाएं, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि मर जाएं।।

20. but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die.'

21. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा,

21. The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying,

22. गेर्शोनियों की भी गिनती उनके पितरों के घरानों और कुलों के अनुसार कर;

22. 'Take a census of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers' houses, by their families;

23. तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की अवस्थावाले, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू में सेवा करने को सेना में भरती हों उन सभों को गिन ले।

23. from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shall you number them; all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.

24. सेवा करने और भार उठाने में गेर्शोनियों के कुलवालों की यह सेवकाई हो;

24. This is the service of the families of the Gershoni, in serving and in bearing burdens:

25. अर्थात् वे निवास के पटों, और मिलापवाले तम्बू और उसके ओहार, और इसके ऊपरवाले सूइसों की खालों के ओहार, और मिलापवाले तम्बू के द्वार के पर्दे,

25. they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle, and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, and the covering of sealskin that is above on it, and the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,

26. और निवास, और वेदी की चारों ओर के आंगन के पर्दों, और आंगन के द्वार के पर्दे, और उनकी डोरियों, और उन में बरतने के सारे सामान, इन सभों को वे उठाया करें; और इन वस्तुओं से जितना काम होता है वह सब भी उनकी सेवकाई में आए।

26. and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatever shall be done with them. Therein shall they serve.

27. और गेर्शोनियों के वंश की सारी सेवकाई हारून और उसके पुत्रों के कहने से हुआ करे, अर्थात् जो कुछ उनको उठाना, और जो जो सेवकाई उनको करनी हो, उनका सारा भार तुम ही उन्हें सौपा करो।

27. At the mitzvah of Aharon and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershoni, in all their burden, and in all their service; and you shall appoint to them in charge all their burden.

28. मिलापवाले तम्बू में गेर्शोनियों के कुलों की यही सेवकाई ठहरे; और उन पर हारून याजक का पुत्रा ईतामार अधिकार रखे।।

28. This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershoni in the Tent of Meeting: and their charge shall be under the hand of Itamar the son of Aharon the Kohen.

29. फिर मरारियों को भी तू उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार गिन लें;

29. 'As for the sons of Merari, you shall number them by their families, by their fathers' houses;

30. तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की अवस्थावाले, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू की सेवा करने को सेना में भरती हों, उन सभों को गिन ले।

30. from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old shall you number them, everyone who enters on the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.

31. और मिलापवाले तम्बू में की जिन वस्तुओं के उठाने की सेवकाई उनको मिले वे ये हों, अर्थात् निवास के तख्ते, बेड़े, खम्भे, और कुर्सियां,

31. This is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the tabernacle's boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,

32. और चारों ओर आंगन के खम्भे, और इनकी कुर्सियां, खूंटे, डोरियां, और भांति भांति के बरतने का सारा सामान; और जो जो सामान ढ़ोने के लिये उनको सौपा जाए उस में से एक एक वस्तु का नाम लेकर तुम गिन दो।

32. and the pillars of the court around it, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name you shall appoint the instruments of the charge of their burden.

33. मरारियों के कुलों की सारी सेवकाई जो उन्हें मिलापवाले तम्बू के विषय करनी होगी वह यही है; वह हारून याजक के पुत्रा ईतामार के अधिकार में रहे।।

33. This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Itamar the son of Aharon the Kohen.'

34. तब मूसा और हारून और मण्डली के प्रधानों ने कहातियों के वंश को, उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार,

34. Moshe and Aharon and the princes of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kehati by their families, and by their fathers' houses,

35. तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष की अवस्था के, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू की सेवकाई करने को सेना में भरती हुए थे, उन सभों को गिन लिया;

35. from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting.

36. और जो अपने अपने कुल के अनुसार गिने गए वे दो हजार साढ़े सात सौ थे।

36. Those who were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty.

37. कहातियों के कुलों में से जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू में सेवा करने वाले गिने गए वे इतने ही थे; जो आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा के द्वारा दी थी उसी के अनुसार मूसा और हारून ने इनको गिन लिया।।

37. These are those who were numbered of the families of the Kehati, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moshe and Aharon numbered according to the mitzvah of the LORD by Moshe.

38. और गेर्शोनियों में से जो अपने कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार गिने गए,

38. Those who were numbered of the sons of Gershon, their families, and by their fathers' houses,

39. अर्थात् तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की अवस्था के, जो मिलापवाले तम्बू की सेवकाई करने को सेना में भरती हुए थे,

39. from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting,

40. उनकी गिनती उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार दो हजार छ: सौ तीस थी।

40. even those who were numbered of them, by their families, by their fathers' houses, were two thousand six hundred thirty.

41. गेर्शोनियों के कुलों में से जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू में सेवा करनेवाले गिने गए वे इतने ही थे; यहोवा की आज्ञा के अनुसार मूसा और हारून ने इनको गिन लिया।।

41. These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moshe and Aharon numbered according to the mitzvah of the LORD.

42. फिर मरारियों के कुलों में से जो अपने कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार गिने गए,

42. Those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' houses,

43. अर्थात् तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की अवस्था के, जो मिलापवाले तम्बू की सेवकाई करने को सेना में भरती हुए थे,

43. from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting,

44. उनकी गिनती उनके कुलों के अनुसार तीन हजार दो सौ थी।

44. even those who were numbered of them by their families, were three thousand two hundred.

45. मरारियों के कुलों में से जिनको मूसा और हारून ने, यहोवा की उस आज्ञा के अनुसार जो मूसा के द्वारा मिली थी, गिन लिया वे इतने ही थे।।

45. These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moshe and Aharon numbered according to the mitzvah of the LORD by Moshe.

46. लेवियों में से जिनको मूसा और हारून और इस्त्राएली प्रधानों ने उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार गिन लिया,

46. All those who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moshe and Aharon and the princes of Yisra'el numbered, by their families, and by their fathers' houses,

47. अर्थात् तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की अवस्थावाले, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू की सेवकाई करने का बोझ उठाने का काम करने को हाजिर होने वाले थे,

47. from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting,

48. उन सभों की गिनती आठ हजार पांच सौ अस्सी थी।

48. even those who were numbered of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.

49. ये अपनी अपनी सेवा और बोझ ढ़ोने के अनुसार यहोवा के कहने पर गए। जो आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा को दी थी उसी के अनुसार वे गिने गए।।

49. According to the mitzvah of the LORD they were numbered by Moshe, everyone according to his service, and according to his burden. Thus were they numbered by him, as the LORD commanded Moshe.
