1. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा,

1. And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide,

2. इस्त्राएलियों से कह, कि इस्त्राएलियों में से, वा इस्त्राएलियों के बीच रहनेवाले परदेशियों में से, कोई क्यों न हो जो अपनी कोई सन्तान मोलेक को बलिदान करे वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए; और जनता उसको पत्थरवाह करे।

2. Speke thou these thingis to the sones of Israel, If eny man of the sones of Israel, and of the comelyngis that dwellen in Israel, yyueth of his seed to the ydol Moloch, die he bi deeth; the puple of the lond schal stone him.

3. और मैं भी उस मनुष्य के विरूद्ध होकर उसको उसके लोगों में से इस कारण नाश करूंगा, कि उस ने अपनी सन्तान मोलेक को देकर मेरे पवित्रास्थान को अशुद्ध किया, और मेरे पवित्रा नाम को अपवित्रा ठहराया।

3. And Y schal sette faste my face ayens hym, and Y schal kitte awei him fro the myddis of my puple, for he yaf of his seed to Moloch, and defoulide my seyntuarie, and defoulide myn hooli name.

4. और यदि कोई अपनी सन्तान मोलेक को बलिदान करे, और जनता उसके विषय में आनाकानी करे, और उसको मार न डाले,

4. That if the puple of the lond is necgligent, and as litil chargynge myn heeste, and suffrith the man that yaf of his seed to Moloch, nether wole sle hym, Y schal sette my face on that man,

5. तब तो मैं स्वयं उस मनुष्य और उसके घराने के विरूद्ध होकर उसको और जितने उसके पीछे होकर मोलेक के साथ व्यभिचार करें उन सभों को भी उनके लोगों के बीच में से नाश करूंगा।

5. and his kynrede, and Y schal kitte doun hym, and alle that consentiden to him, that thei schulden do fornycacioun with Moloch, fro the myddis of her puple.

6. फिर जो प्राणी ओझाओं वा भूतसाधनेवालों की ओर फिरके, और उनके पीछे होकर व्यभिचारी बने, तब मैं उस प्राणी के विरूद्ध होकर उसको उसके लोगों के बीच में से नाश कर दूंगा।

6. If a man bowith to astronomyers, and false dyuynours, and doith fornycacioun with hem, Y schal sette my face ayens hym, and Y schal sle hym fro the mydis of hys puple.

7. इसलिये तुम अपने आप को पवित्रा करो; और पवित्रा बने रहो; क्योंकि मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं।
1 पतरस 1:16

7. Be ye halewid, and be ye hooli, for Y am hooli, youre Lord God.

8. और तुम मेरी विधियों को मानना, और उनका पालन भी करना; क्योंकि मैं तुम्हारा पवित्रा करनेवाला यहोवा हूं।

8. Kepe ye myn heestis, and do ye tho, for Y am the Lord that halewe you.

9. कोई क्यों न हो जो अपने पिता वा माता को शाप दे वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए; उस ने अपने पिता वा माता को शाप दिया है, इस कारण उसका खून उसी के सिर पर पड़ेगा।

9. He that cursith his fadir, ether modir, die bi deeth; if a man cursith fadir and modir, his blood be on hym.

10. फिर यदि कोई पराई स्त्री के साथ व्यभिचार करे, तो जिस ने किसी दूसरे की स्त्री के साथ व्यभिचार किया हो तो वह व्यभिचारी और वह व्यभिचारिणी दोनों निश्चय मार डाले जाएं।

10. If a man doith leccherie with `the wijf of another man, and doith auowtrie with `the wijf of his neiybore, bothe auowter and auowtresse die bi deeth.

11. और यदि कोई अपनी सौतेली माता के साथ सोए, वह जो अपने पिता ही का तन उघाड़नेवाला ठहरेगा; सो इसलिये वे दोनों निश्चय मार डाले जाएं, उनका खून उन्हीं के सिर पर पड़ेगा।

11. If a man slepith with hys stepdamme, and schewith `the schenschip of his fadir, bothe die bi deeth; her blood be on hem.

12. और यदि कोई अपनी पतोहू के साथ सोए, तो वे दोनों निश्चय मार डाले जाएं; क्योंकि वे उलटा काम करनेवाले ठहरेंगे, और उनका खून उन्हीं के सिर पर पड़ेगा।

12. If ony man slepith with `his sones wijf, euer either die, for thei han wrouyt greet synne; her blood be on hem.

13. और यदि कोई जिस रीति स्त्री से उसी रीति पुरूष से प्रसंग करे, तो वे दोनों घिनौना काम करनेवाले ठहरेंगे; इस कारण वे निश्चय मार डाले जाएं, उनका खून उन्हीं के सिर पर पड़ेगा।
रोमियों 1:27

13. If a man slepith with a man, bi letcherie of a womman, euer either hath wrouyt vnleueful thing, die thei bi deeth; her blood be on hem.

14. और यदि कोई अपनी पत्नी और अपनी सांस दोनों को रखे, तो यह महापाप है; इसलिये वह पुरूष और वे स्त्रियां तीनों के तीनों आग में जलाए जाएं, जिस से तुम्हारे बीच महापाप न हो।

14. He that weddith ouer his wijf hir moder, hath wrouyt greet synne; he schal be brent quyk with hem, and so greet vnleueful doynge schal not dwelle in the myddis of you.

15. फिर यदि कोई पुरूष पशुगामी हो, तो पुरूष और पशु दोनों निश्चय मार डाले जाएं।

15. He that doith letcherie with a greet beeste, ethir a litil beeste die bi deeth, also sle ye the beeste.

16. और यदि कोई स्त्री पशु के पास जाकर उसके संग कुकर्म करे, तो तू उस स्त्री और पशु दोनों को घात करना; वे निश्चय मार डाले जाएं, उनका खून उन्हीं के सिर पर पड़ेगा।

16. A womman that liggith vndur ony beeste, be slayn togidere with it; the blood `of hem be on hem.

17. और यदि कोई अपनी बहिन का, चाहे उसकी संगी बहिन हो चाहे सौतेली, उसका नग्न तन देखे, तो वह निन्दित बात है, वे दोनों अपने जाति भाइयों की आंखों के साम्हने नाश किए जाएं; क्योंकि जो अपनी बहिन का तन उघाड़नेवाला ठहरेगा उसे अपने अधर्म का भार स्वयं उठाना पड़ेगा।

17. He that takith his sistir `the douytir of his fadir, ether the douyter of his modir, and seeth hir filthe, and sche seeth the schenschip of the brothir, thei han wrouyt an vnleueful thing, bothe schulen be slayn in the siyt of her puple; for thei schewiden togidere her filthe, and thei schulen bere her wickidnesse.

18. फिर यदि कोई पुरूष किसी ऋतुमती स्त्री के संग सोकर उसका तन उघाड़े, तो वह पुरूष उसके रूधिर के सोते का उघाड़नेवाला ठहरेगा, और वह स्त्री अपने रूधिर के सोते की उघाड़नेवाली ठहरेगी; इस कारण दोनों अपने लोगों के बीच से नाश किए जाएं।

18. If a man doith fleischly knowyng with a womman in the flux of monethe, and schewith hir filthe, and sche openeth the welle of hir blood, bothe schulen be slayn fro the myddis of her puple.

19. और अपनी मौसी वा फूफी का तन न उघाड़ना, क्योंकि जो उसे उघाड़े वह अपनी निकट कुटुम्बिन को नंगा करता है; इसलिये इन दोनों को अपने अधर्म का भार उठाना पड़ेगा।

19. Thou schalt not diskyuere the filthe of thi modris sistir, and of thi fadris sistir; he, that doith this, schal `make nakid the schenschip of his fleisch, and bothe schulen bere her wickidnesse.

20. और यदि कोई अपनी चाची के संग सोए, तो वह अपने चाचा का तन उघाड़ने वाला ठहरेगा; इसलिये वे दोनों अपने पाप का भार को उठाए हुए निर्वंश मर जाएंगे।

20. He that doith fleischli knowyng with the wijf of `his fadris brother, ether of his modris brother, and schewith the filthe of his kyn, bothe schulen bere her synne, thei schulen die without fre children.

21. और यदि कोई भौजी वा भयाहू को अपनी पत्नी बनाए, तो इसे घिनौना काम जानना; और वह अपने भाई का तन उघाड़नेवाला ठहरेगा, इस कारण वे दोनों निर्वंश रहेंगे।
मत्ती 14:3-4

21. He that weddith `the wijf of his brother, doith an vnleueful thing; he schewide `the filthe of his brother, he schal be without fre children.

22. तुम मेरी सब विधियों और मेरे सब नियमों को समझ के साथ मानना; जिससे यह न हो कि जिस देश में मैं तुम्हें लिये जा रहा हूं वह तुम को उगल देवे।

22. Kepe ye my lawis and my domes, and do ye tho, lest the lond, in to which ye schulen entre and dwelle, caste out viliche also you.

23. और जिस जाति के लोगों को मैं तुम्हारे आगे से निकालता हूं उनकी रीति रस्म पर न चलना; क्योंकि उन लोगों ने जो ये सब कुकर्म किए हैं, इसी कारण मुझे उन से घृणा हो गई है।

23. Nyle ye go in the lawful thingis of naciouns, whiche Y schal caste out bifor you, for thei diden alle these thingis, and Y hadde abhomynacioun of hem.

24. और मैं तुम लोगों से कहता हूं, कि तुम तो उनकी भूमि के अधिकारी होगे, और मैं इस देश को जिस में दूध और मधु की धाराएं बहती हैं तुम्हारे अधिकार में कर दूंगा; मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं जिस ने तुम को देशों के लोगों से अलग किया है।

24. Forsothe Y speke to you, Welde ye `the lond of hem, which Y schal yyue to you in to eritage, the lond flowynge with mylk and hony; Y am youre Lord God, that departide you fro othere puplis.

25. इस कारण तुम शुद्ध और अशुद्ध पशुओं में, और शुद्ध और अशुद्ध पक्षियों में भेद करना; और कोई पशु वा पक्षी वा किसी प्रकार का भूमि पर रेंगनेवाला जीवजन्तु क्यों न हो, जिसको मैं ने तुम्हारे लिये अशुद्ध ठहराकर वर्जित किया है, उस से अपने आप को अशुद्ध न करना।

25. Therfor also ye departe a cleene beeste fro vnclene, and a cleene brid fro vncleene, lest ye defoule youre soulis in a beeste, and in briddis, and in alle thingis that ben moued in erthe, and whiche thingis Y schewide to you to be defoulid.

26. और तुम मेरे लिये पवित्रा बने रहना; क्योंकि मैं यहोवा स्वयं पवित्रा हूं, और मैं ने तुम को और देशों के लोगों से इसलिये अलग किया है कि तुम निरन्तर मेरे ही बने रहो।।

26. Ye schulen be hooli to me, for `Y am the hooli Lord, and Y departide you fro othere puplis, that ye schulen be myne.

27. यदि कोई पुरूष वा स्त्री ओझाई वा भूत की साधना करे, तो वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए; ऐसों का पत्थरवाह किया जाए, उनका खून उन्हीं के सिर पर पड़ेगा।।

27. A man ethir a womman, in which is an vncleene spirit spekynge in the `wombe, ethir `a spirit of fals dyuynyng, die thei bi deeth; men schulen oppresse hem bi stoonus; her blood be on hem.
