1. हे यहोवा तेरी सामर्थ्य से राजा आनन्दित होगा; और तेरे किए हुए उद्धार से वह अति मगन होगा।

1. To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, Jehovah; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice.

2. तू ने उसके मनोरथ को पूरा किया है, और उसके मुंह की बिनती को तू ने अस्वीकार नहीं किया।

2. Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

3. क्योंकि तू उत्तम आशीषें देता हुआ उस से मिलता है और तू उसके सिर पर कुन्दन का मुकुट पहिनाता है।

3. For thou hast met him with the blessings of goodness; thou hast set a crown of pure gold on his head.

4. उस ने तुझ से जीवन मांगा, ओर तू ने जीवनदान दिया; तू ने उसको युगानुयुग का जीवन दिया है।

4. He asked life of thee; thou gavest [it] him, length of days for ever and ever.

5. तेरे उद्धार के कारण उसकी महिमा अधिक है; तू उसको विभव और ऐश्वर्य से आभूषित कर देता है।

5. His glory is great through thy salvation; majesty and splendour hast thou laid upon him.

6. क्योंकि तू ने उसको सर्वदा के लिये आशीषित किया है; तू अपने सम्मुख उसको हर्ष और आनन्द से भर देता है।

6. For thou hast made him to be blessings for ever; thou hast filled him with joy by thy countenance.

7. क्योंकि राजा का भरोसा यहोवा के ऊपर है; और परमप्रधान की करूणा से वह कभी नहीं टलने का।।

7. For the king confideth in Jehovah: and through the loving-kindness of the Most High he shall not be moved.

8. तेरा हाथ तेरे सब शत्रुओं को ढूंढ़ निकालेगा, तेरा दहिना हाथ तेरे सब बैरियों का पता लगा लेगा।

8. Thy hand shall find out all thine enemies; thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

9. तू अपने मुख के सम्मुख उन्हें जलते हुए भट्टे की नाई जलाएगा। यहोवा अपने क्रोध में उन्हें निगल जाएगा, और आग उनको भस्म कर डालेगी।

9. Thou shalt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thy presence; Jehovah shall swallow them up in his anger, and the fire shall devour them:

10. तू उनके फलों को पृथ्वी पर से, और उनके वंश को मनुष्यों में से नष्ट करेगा।

10. Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

11. क्योंकि उन्हों ने तेरी हाति ठानी है, उन्हों ने ऐसी युक्ति निकाली है जिसे वे पूरी न कर सकेंगे।

11. For they intended evil against thee; they imagined a mischievous device, which they could not execute.

12. क्योंकि तू अपना धुनष उनके विरूद्ध चढ़ाएगा, और वे पीठ दिखाकर भागेंगे।।

12. For thou wilt make them turn their back; thou wilt make ready thy bowstring against their face.

13. हे यहोवा, अपनी सामर्थ्य में महान हो! और हम गा गाकर तेरे पराक्रम का भजन सुनाएंगे।।

13. Be thou exalted, Jehovah, in thine own strength: we will sing and celebrate thy power.
