1. हे परमेश्वर तेरे तम्बू में कौन रहेगा? तेरे पवित्रा पर्वत पर कौन बसने पाएगा?

1. A psalm of David. Lord, who can live in your sacred tent? Who can stay on your holy hill?

2. वह जो खराई से चलता और धर्म के काम करता है, और हृदय से सच बोलता है;

2. Anyone who lives without blame and does what is right. He speaks the truth from his heart.

3. जो अपनी जीभ से निन्दा नहीं करता, और न अपने मित्रा की बुराई करता, और न अपने पड़ोसी की निन्दा सुनता है;

3. He doesn't tell lies about others. He doesn't do wrong to his neighbors. He doesn't say anything bad about them.

4. वह जिसकी दृष्टि में निकम्मा मनुष्य तुच्छ है, और जो यहोवा के डरवैयों का आदर करता है, जो शपथ खाकर बदलता नहीं चाहे हानि उठाना पड़े;

4. He hates sinful people. He honors those who have respect for the Lord. He keeps his promises even when it hurts.

5. जो अपना रूपया ब्याज पर नहीं देता, और निर्दोष की हानि करने के लिये घूस नहीं लेता है। जो कोई ऐसी चाल चलता है वह कभी न डगमगाएगा।।

5. He lends his money without charging too much interest. He doesn't accept money to harm those who aren't guilty. Anyone who lives like that will always be secure.
