1. जो यहोवा पर भरोसा रखते हैं, वे सिरयोन पर्वत के समान हैं, जो टलता नहीं, वरन सदा बना रहता है।

1. A song of ascents: Those who trust in ADONAI are like Mount Tziyon, which cannot be moved but remains forever.

2. जिस प्रकार यरूशलेम के चारों ओर पहाड़ हैं, उसी प्रकार यहोवा अपनी प्रजा के चारों ओर अब से लेकर सर्वदा तक बना रहेगा।

2. Yerushalayim! Mountains all around it! Thus ADONAI is around his people henceforth and forever.

3. क्योंकि दुष्टों का राजदण्ड धर्मियों के भाग पर बना न रहेगा, ऐसा न हो कि धर्मी अपने हाथ कुटिल काम की ओर बढ़ाएं।।

3. For the scepter of wickedness will not rule the inheritance of the righteous, so that the righteous will not themselves turn their hands to evil.

4. हे यहोवा, भलों का, और सीधे मनवालों का भला कर!

4. Do good, ADONAI, to the good, to those upright in their hearts.

5. परन्तु जो मुड़कर टेढ़े मार्गों में चलते हैं, उनको यहोवा अनर्थकारियों के संग निकाल देगा! इस्राएल को शान्ति मिले!
