1. फिर एलीहू ने यह भी कहा,

1. Eliu proceaded forth in his talkinge, & sayde:

2. कुछ ठहरा रह, और मैं तुझ को समझाऊंगा, क्योंकि ईश्वर के पक्ष में मुझे कुछ और भी कहना है।

2. holde the still a litle, and I shal shewe the, what I haue yet to speake on Gods behalfe.

3. मैं अपने ज्ञान की बात दूर से ले आऊंगा, और अपने सिरजनहार को धम ठहराऊंगा।

3. I wil open vnto ye yet more of myne vnderstondinge, and proue my maker rightuous.

4. निश्चय मेरी बातें झूठी न होंगी, वह जो तेरे संग है वह पूरा ज्ञानी है।

4. True are my wordes, & no lye: and the knowlege wherwithall I argue agaynst the, is perfecte.

5. देख, ईश्वर सामथ है, और किसी को तुच्छ नहीं जानता; वह समझने की शक्ति में समर्थ है।

5. Beholde, God casteth not awaye ye mightie, for he himselff is mightie in power and wisdome.

6. वह दुष्टों को जिलाए नहीं रखता, और दीनों को उनका हक देता है।

6. As for the vngodly, he preserueth the not but helpeth the poore to their right.

7. वह धर्मियों से अपनी आंखें नहीं फेरता, वरन उनको राजाओं के संग सदा के लिये सिंहासन पर बैठाता है, और वे ऊंचे पद को प्राप्त करते हैं।

7. He turneth not his eyes awaye from the rightuous he setteth vp kynges in their Trone, and cofirmeth them, so that they allwaye syt therin.

8. ओर चाहे वे बेड़ियों में जकड़े जाएं और दु:ख की रस्सियों से बान्धे जाए,

8. But yf they be layed in preson and cheynes, or bounde with the bondes of pouerte:

9. तौभी ईश्वर उन पर उनके काम, और उनका यह अपराध प्रगट करता है, कि उन्हों ने गर्व किया है।

9. then sheweth he them their workes ad dedes and the synnes wherwt they haue vsed cruell violence.

10. वह उनके कान शिक्षा सुनने के लिये खोलता है, और आज्ञा देता है कि वे बुराई से परे रहें।

10. He with punyshinge and nurturinge off them, rowneth them in the eares, warneth them to leaue of from their wickednesse, and to amende.

11. यदि वे सुनकर उसकी सेवा करें, तो वे अपने दिन कल्याण से, और अपने वर्ष सुख से पूरे करते हैं।

11. Yf they now will take hede and be obedient, they shall weere out their dayes in prosperite, and their yeares in pleasure ad ioye.

12. परन्तु यदि वे न सुनें, तो वे खड़ग से नाश हो जाते हैं, और अज्ञानता में मरते हैं।

12. But yff they will not obeye, they shall go thorow the swearde, & perish or euer they be awarre.

13. परन्तु वे जो मन ही मन भक्तिहीन होकर क्रोध बढ़ाते, और जब वह उनको बान्धता है, तब भी दोहाई नहीं देते,

13. As for soch as be fayned, dyssemblers and ypocrytes, they heape vp wrath for them selues: for they call not vpon him, though they be his presoners.

14. वे जवानी में मर जाते हैं और उनका जीवन लूच्चों के बीच में नाश होता है।

14. Thus their soule perisheth in foolishnesse, and their lyfe wt ye condened.

15. वह दुख्यिों को उनके दु:ख से छुड़ाता है, और उपद्रव में उनका कान खोलता है।

15. The poore delyuereth he out of his straytnesse, and comforteth soch as be in necessite and trouble.

16. परन्तु वह तुझ को भी क्लेश के मुंह में से निकालकर ऐसे चौड़े स्थान में जहां सकेती नहीं है, पहुचा देता है, और चिकना चिकना भोजन तेरी मेज पर परोसता है।

16. Euen so shall he kepe the (yf thou wilt be content) from the bottomlesse pytte that is beneth: & yf thou wilt holde the quyete, he shal fyll thy table with plenteousnesse.

17. परन्तु तू ने दुष्टों का सा निर्णय किया है इसलिये निर्णय और न्याय तुझ से लिपटे रहते है।

17. Neuerthelesse, thou hast condemned the iudgment of the vngodly, yee euen soch a iudgment and sentence shalt thou suffre.

18. देख, तू जलजलाहट से उभर के ठट्ठा मत कर, और न प्रायश्चित्त को अधिक बड़ा जानकर मार्ग से मुड़।

18. For then shal not thy cause be stilled with crueltie, ner pacified with many giftes.

19. क्या तेरा रोना वा तेरा बल तुझे दु:ख से छुटकारा देगा?

19. Hath God ordened then, that the glorious life off the & all soch mightie men shulde not be put downe?

20. उस रात की अभिलाषा न कर, जिस में देश देश के लोग अपने अपने स्थान से मिटाए जाते हैं।

20. Prolonge not thou the tyme, till there come a night for the, to set other people in thy steade.

21. चौकस रह, अनर्थ काम की ओर मत फिर, तू ने तो देख से अधिक इसी को चुन लिया है।

21. But bewarre that thou turne not asyde to wickednesse and synne, which hyther to thou hast chosen more then mekenesse.

22. देख, ईश्वर अपने सामर्ध्य से बड़े बड़े काम करता है, उसके समान शिक्षक कौन है?

22. Beholde, God is of a mightie hye power: Where is there soch a gyde and lawegeuer as he?

23. किस ने उसके चलने का मार्ग ठहराया है? और कौन उस से कह सकता है, कि तू ने अनुचित काम किया है?

23. Who wil reproue him of his waye? who wil saye vnto him: thou hast done wronge?

24. उसके कामों की महिमा और प्रशंसा करने को स्मरण रख, जिसकी प्रशंसा का गीत मनुष्य गाते चले आए हैं।

24. O considre how greate and excellent his workes be, whom all men loaue and prayse:

25. सब मनुष्य उसको ध्यान से देखते आए हैं, और मनुष्य उसे दूर दूर से देखता है।

25. yee wondre at him, and yet they se him but afarre of.

26. देख, ईश्वर महान और हमारे ज्ञान से कहीं परे है, और उसके वर्ष की गिनती अनन्त है।

26. Beholde, so greate is God, that he passeth oure knowlege, nether are we able to come to ye experiece of his yeares.

27. क्योंकि वह तो जल की बूंदें ऊपर को खींच लेता है वे कुहरे से मेंह होकर टपकती हैं,

27. He turneth ye water to smaldroppes, he dryueth his cloudes

28. वे ऊंचे ऊंचे बादल उंडेलते हैं और मनुष्यों के ऊपर बहुतायत से बरसाते हैं।

28. together for to rayne, so that they poure downe and droppe vpon men.

29. फिर क्या कोई बादलों का फैलना और उसके मणडल में का गरजना समझ सकता है?

29. He can sprede out the cloudes (a couerynge off his tabernacle)

30. देख, वह अपने उजियाले को चहुँओर फैलाता है, और समुद्र की थाह को ढांपता है।

30. and cause his light to shyne vpo them, and to couer the botome of the see.

31. क्योंकि वह देश देश के लोगों का न्याय इन्हीं से करता है, और भोजनवस्तुएं बहुतायत से देता है।

31. By these thinges gouerneth he his people, and geueth the abundaunce of meate.

32. वह बिजली को अपने हाथ में लेकर उसे आज्ञा देता है कि दुश्मन पर गिरे।

32. In ye turnynge of a hande he hydeth the light, & at his commaundement it commeth agayne.

33. इसकी कड़क उसी का समाचार देती है पशु भी प्रगट करते हैं कि अन्धड़ चढ़ा आता है।

33. The rysinge vp therof sheweth he to his frendes and to the catell.
