1. जब वह उस पहाड़ से उतरा, तो एक बड़ी भीड़ उसके पीछे हो ली।

1. When he was come downe from the mountayne, moch people folowed him.

2. और देखो, एक कोढ़ी ने पास आकर उसे प्रणाम किया और कहा; कि हे प्रभु यदि तू चाहे, तो मुझे शुद्ध कर सकता है।

2. And lo, there came a leper, and worsheped him, sayinge: LORDE, yf thou wylt, thou canst make me cleane.

3. यीशु ने हाथ बढ़ाकर उसे छूआ, और कहा, मैं चाहता हूं, तू शुद्ध हो जा और वह तुरन्त कोढ़ से शुद्ध हो गया।

3. And Iesus put forth hys honde, & touched him, sayinge: I wyl, be thou cleane: & immediatly his leprosie was clensed?

4. यीशु ने उस से कहा; देख, किसी से न कहना परन्तु जाकर अपने आप को याजक को दिखला और जो चढ़ावा मूसा ने ठहराया है उसे चढ़ा, ताकि उन के लिये गवाही हो।

4. And Iesus sayde vnto hym: Se thou tell no ma, but go and shew thy selfe to the preste, and offer the gyfte that Moses comaunded, in witnes to them.

5. और जब वह कफरनहूम में आया तो एक सूबेदार ने उसके पास आकर उस से बिनती की।

5. When Iesus was entred into Capernaum, there came vnto him a Captayne, & besought hym,

6. कि हे प्रभु, मेरा सेवक घर में झोले का मारा बहुत दुखी पड़ा है।

6. sayinge: Syr, my seruaunt lyeth sicke at home of the palsye, and ys greuously payned.

7. उस ने उस से कहा; मैं आकर उसे चंगा करूंगा।

7. Iesus sayd vnto hym: I wil come & heale him.

8. सूबेदार ने उत्तर दिया; कि हे प्रभु मैं इस योग्य नहीं, कि तू मेरी छत के तले आए, पर केवल मुख से कह दे तो मेरा सेवक चंगा हो जाएगा।

8. The Captayne answered and sayde: Syr, I am nor worthy, that thou shuldest come vnder my rofe, but speake the worde only, and my seruaunt shalbe healed.

9. क्योंकि मैं भी पराधीन मनुष्य हूं, और सिपाही मेरे हाथ में हैं, और जब एक से कहता हूं, जा, तो वह जाता है; और दूसरे को कि आ, तो वह आता है; और अपने दास से कहता हूं, कि यह कर, तो वह करता है।

9. For I myselfe also am a ma subiect to ye auctorite of another, & haue sowdiers vnder me. Yet wha I saye to one: go, he goeth, and to another: come, he commeth: & to my seruaunt: do this, he doeth it.

10. यह सुनकर यीशु ने अचम्भा किया, और जो उसके पीछे आ रहे थे उन से कहा; मैं तुम से सच कहता हूं, कि मैं ने इस्राएल में भी ऐसा विश्वास नहीं पाया।

10. When Iesus hearde that, he marueled, and sayde to them that folowed hym: Verely I say vnto you: I haue not founde so greate fayth: no not i Israel.

11. और मैं तुम से कहता हूं, कि बहुतेरे पूर्व और पश्चिम से आकर इब्राहीम और इसहाक और याकूब के साथ स्वर्ग के राज्य में बैठेंगे।

11. But I say vnto you: Many shall come from the east and west, and shall rest with Abraham, Isaac and Iacob in the kyngdome of heauen:

12. परन्तु राज्य के सन्तान बाहर अन्धियारे में डाल दिए जाएंगे: वहां रोना और दांतों का पीसना होगा।

12. and the chyldren of the kyngdome shalbe cast out in to vtter darcknes: there shalbe wepinge & gnasshing of teth.

13. और यीशु ने सूबेदार से कहा, जो; जैसा तेरा विश्वास है, वैसा ही तेरे लिये हो: और उसका सेवक उसी घड़ी चंगा हो गया।।

13. And Iesus sayd vnto ye Captayne: go thy waye, and as thou beleuest, so be it vnto the. And his seruaunt was healed the same houre.

14. और यीशु ने पतरस के घर में आकर उस की सांस को ज्वर में पड़ी देखा।

14. And Iesus went in to Peters housse, and sawe hys wyues mother lyinge sicke of a feuer:

15. उस ने उसका हाथ छूआ और उसका ज्वर उतर गया; और वह उठकर उस की सेवा करने लगी।

15. so he touched her hande, and the feuer left hir: and she arose, and ministred vnto them.

16. जब संध्या हुई तब वे उसके पास बहुत से लोगों को लाए जिन में दुष्टात्माएं थीं और उस ने उन आत्माओं को अपने वचन से निकाल दिया, और सब बीमारों को चंगा किया।

16. When the euen was come, they brought vnto him many that were possessed with deuylls. And he cast out ye spirites with a worde, & healed all that were sicke,

17. ताकि जो वचन यशायाह भविष्यद्वक्ता के द्वारा का गया था वह पूरा हो, कि उस ने आप हमारी दुर्बलताओं को ले लिया और हमारी बीमारियों को उठा लिया।।

17. that ye thinge might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Esay the Prophet, sayinge: He toke on him oure infirmities, and bare oure sickneses.

18. यीशु ने अपनी चारों ओर एक बड़ी भीड़ देखकर उस पार जाने की आज्ञा दी।

18. Whe Iesus sawe moch people about him, he commaunded to go ouer the water.

19. और एक शास्त्री ने पास आकर उस से कहा, हे गुरू, जहां कहीं तू जाएगा, मैं तेरे पीछे पीछे हो लूंगा।

19. And there came a scribe and sayde vnto hym: master, I wyll folowe the, whyther so euer thou goest.

20. यीशु ने उस से कहा, लोमड़ियों के भट और आकाश के पक्षियों के बसेरे होते हैं; परन्तु मनुष्य के पुत्रा के लिये सिर धरने की भी जगह नहीं है।

20. And Iesus sayde vnto him: the foxes haue holes, and the byrddes of the ayer hane nestes, but ye sonne of ma hath not wheron to rest his heede.

21. एक और चेले ने उस से कहा, हे प्रभु, मुझे पहिले जाने दे, कि अपने पिता को गाढ़ दूं।

21. Another that was one of his disciples, sayde vnto hym: Syr, geue me leue fyrst, to go & burye my father.

22. यीशु ने उस से कहा, तू मेरे पीछे हो ले; और मुरदों को अपने मुरदे गाड़ने दे।।

22. But Iesus sayde vnto him: folowe thou me, and let the deed burie their deed.

23. जब वह नाव पर चढ़ा, तो उसके चेले उसके पीछे हो लिए।

23. And he entred in to a shyppe, & his disciples folowed him.

24. और देखो, झील में एक एसा बड़ा तूफान उठा कि नाव लहरों से ढंपने लगी; और वह सो रहा था।

24. And beholde, there arose a greate tempest in the see, in so moch that the shippe was couered with wawes, & he was a slepe.

25. तब उन्हों ने पास आकर उसे जगाया, और कहा, हे प्रभु, हमें बचा, हम नाश हुए जाते हैं।

25. And his disciples came vnto him, and awoke hym, sayinge: LORDE, saue vs, we perishe.

26. उस ने उन से कहा; हे अल्पविश्वासियों, क्यों डरते हो? तब उस ने उठकर आन्धी और पानी को डांटा, और सब शान्त हो गया।

26. And he sayde vnto them: why are ye fearfull, o ye of lytell faithe? Then he arose, and rebuked the wyndes and the see, & there folowed a greate calme.

27. और लोग अचम्भा करके कहने लगे कि यह कैसा मनुष्य है, कि आन्धी और पानी भी उस की आज्ञा मानते हैं।

27. And the men marueyled and sayde: what ma is this, that both wyndes and see obey hym?

28. जब वह उस पार गदरेनियों के देश में पहुंचा, तो दो मनुष्य जिन में दुष्टात्माएं थीं कब्रों से निकलते हुए उसे मिले, जो इतने प्रचण्ड थे, कि कोई उस मार्ग से जा नहीं सकता था।

28. And when he was come to ye other syde, in to the countre of the Gergesites, there met him two possessed of deuyls, which came out of the graues, and were out of measure fearce, so that no man myght go by that waye.

29. और देखो, उन्हों ने चिल्लाकर कहा; हे परमेश्वर के पुत्रा, हमारा तुझ से क्या कहा? क्या तू समय से पहिले हमें दु:ख देने यहां आया है?

29. And beholde, they cryed out sayinge: Oh Iesu thou sonne of God, what haue we to do wt the? Art thou come hyther to tormet vs, before the tyme be come?

30. उन से कुछ दूर बहुत से सूअरों का झुण्ड चर रहा था।

30. And there was a good waye of from them a greate heerd of swyne fedinge.

31. दुष्टात्माओं ने उस से यह कहकर बिनती की, कि यदि तू हमें निकालता है, तो सूअरों के झुण्ड में भेज दे।

31. Then the deuyles besought him, sayinge: yf thou cast vs out, suffre vs to go oure waye in to the heerd of swyne.

32. उस ने उन से कहा, जाओ, वे निकलकर सूअरों में पैठ गए और देखो, सारा झुण्ड कड़ाडे पर से झपटकर पानी में जा पड़ा और डूब मरा।

32. And he sayde vnto them: go youre wayes. Then went they out, and departed in to the heerd of swyne. And beholde, ye whoale heerd of swyne was caryed with violece headlinge in to the see, and perished in the water.

33. और चरवाहे भागे, और नगर में जाकर ये सब बातें और जिन में दुष्टात्माएं भीं उन का सारा हाल कह सुनाया।

33. The the heerdmen fled and wente their ways in to the cyte, and tolde euery thinge, & what had fortuned vnto the possessed of the deuyls.

34. और देखो, सारे नगर के लोगे यीशु से भेंट करने को निकल आए और उसे देखकर बिनती की, कि हमारे सिवानों से बाहर निकल जा।।

34. And beholde, all the cyte came out and met Iesus. And when they sawe hym, they besought hym, for to departe out of their coostes.
