1. यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

1. The LORD spoke to me.

2. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, अम्मोनियों की ओर मुंह करके उनके विषय में भविष्यद्वाणी कर।

2. Mortal man,' he said, 'denounce the country of Ammon.

3. उन से कह, हे अम्मोनियो, परमेश्वर यहोवा का वचन सुनो, परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है कि तुम ने जो मेरे पवित्रास्थान के विषय जब वह अपवित्रा किया गया, और इस्राएल के देश के विषय जब वह उजड़ गया, और यहूदा के घराने के विषय जब वे बंधुआई में गए, अहा, अहा ! कहा !

3. Tell them to listen to what I, the Sovereign LORD, am saying: You were delighted to see my Temple profaned, to see the land of Israel devastated, to see the people of Judah go into exile.

4. इस कारण देखो, मैं तुझ को पूरबियों के अधिकार में करने पर हूँ; और वे तेरे बीच अपनी छावनियां डालेंगे और अपने घर बनाएंगे; वे तेरे फल खाएंगे और तेरा दूध पीएंगे।

4. Because you were glad, I will let the tribes from the eastern desert conquer you. They will set up their camps in your country and settle there. They will eat the fruit and drink the milk that should have been yours.

5. और मैं रब्बा नगर को ऊंटों के रहने और अम्मोनियों के देश को भेड़- बकरियों के बैठने का स्थान कर दूंगा; तब तुम जान लोगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

5. I will turn the city of Rabbah into a place to keep camels, and the whole country of Ammon will become a place to keep sheep, so that you will know I am the LORD.

6. क्योंकि परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, तुम ने जो इस्राएल के देश के कारण ताली बजाई और नाचे, और अपने सारे मन के अभिमान से आनन्द किया,

6. 'This is what the Sovereign LORD is saying: You clapped your hands and jumped for joy. You despised the land of Israel.

7. इस कारण देख, मैं ने अपना हाथ तेरे ऊपर बढ़ाया है; और तुझ को जाति जाति की लूट कर दूंगा, और देश देश के लोगों में से तुझे मिटाऊंगा; और देश देश में से नाश करूंगा। मैं तेरा सत्यानाश कर डालूंगा; तब तू जान लेगा कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

7. Because you did, I will hand you over to other nations who will rob you and plunder you. I will destroy you so completely that you will not be a nation any more or have a country of your own. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'

8. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, मोआब और सेईर जो कहते हैं, देखो, यहूदा का घराना और सब जातियों के समान हो गया हे।

8. The Sovereign LORD said, 'Because Moab has said that Judah is like all the other nations,

9. इस कारण देख, मोआब के देश के किनारे के नगरों को बेत्यशीमोत, बालमोन, और किर्यातैम, जो उस देश के शिरोमणि हैं, मैं उनका मार्ग खोलकर

9. I will let the cities that defend the border of Moab be attacked, including even the finest cities---Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim.

10. उन्हें पूरबियों के वश में ऐसा कर दूंगा कि वे अम्योनियों पर चढ़ाई करें; और मैं अम्मोनियों को यहां तक उनके अधिकार में कर दूंगा कि जाति जाति के बीच उनका स्मरण फिर न रहेगा।

10. I will let the tribes of the eastern desert conquer Moab, together with Ammon, so that Moab will no longer be a nation.

11. और मैं मोआब को भी दण्ड दूंगा। और वे जान लेंगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

11. I will punish Moab, and they will know that I am the LORD.'

12. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों भी कहता है, एदोम ने जो यहूदा के घराने से पलटा लिया, और उन से बदला लेकर बड़ा दोषी हो गया है,

12. The Sovereign LORD said, 'The people of Edom took cruel revenge on Judah, and that revenge has brought lasting guilt on Edom.

13. इस कारण परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, मैं एदोम के देश के विरूद्ध अपना हाथ बढ़ाकर उस में से मनुष्य और पशु दोनों को मिटाऊंगा; और तेमान से लेकर ददान तक उसको उजाड़ कर दूंगा; और वे तलवार से मारे जाएंगे।

13. Now I announce that I will punish Edom and kill every person and animal there. I will make it a wasteland, from the city of Teman to the city of Dedan, and the people will be killed in battle.

14. और मैं अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल के द्वारा एदोम से अपना बदला लूंगा; और वे उस देश में मेरे कोप और जलजलाहट के अनुसार काम करेंगे। तब वे मेरा पलटा लेना जान लेंगे, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

14. My people Israel will take revenge on Edom for me, and they will make Edom feel my furious anger. Edom will know what it means to be the object of my revenge.' The Sovereign LORD has spoken.

15. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, क्योंकि पलिश्ती लोगों ने पलटा लिया, वरन अपनी युग युग की शत्रुता के कारण अपने मन के अभिमान से बदला लिया कि नाश करें,

15. The Sovereign LORD said, 'The Philistines have taken cruel revenge on their agelong enemies and destroyed them in their hate.

16. इस कारण परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, देख, मैं पलिश्तियों के विरूद्ध अपना हाथ बढ़ाने पर हूँ, और करेतियों को मिटा डालूंगा; और समुद्रतीर के बचे हुए रहनेवालों को नाश करूंगा।

16. And so I am announcing that I will attack the Philistines and wipe them out. I will destroy everyone left living there on the Philistine Plain.

17. और मैं जलजलाहट के साथ मुक़ मा लड़कर, उन से कड़ाई के साथ पलटा लूंगा। और जब मैं उन से बदला ले लूंगा, तब वे जान लेंगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

17. I will punish them severely and take full revenge on them. They will feel my anger. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'
